Bangalore Development Authority [BDA] Complaints & Reviews

During the time of purchase, BDA promised us certain amenities like Street light, BWSSB Water supply, Road, Children Park. None of these have been given. There are 360 flats here with 70% occupancy. The property is not well maintained by the BDA nor the builder. There is no name given to the apartment. There are leakages in the basement. All the bathroom fittings are of low quality and in everyone home, the commode toilet seat is broken.
Everyday 1000s of liters of water leakage is happening from past 2 months.

All these amenities are mentioned in the BDA official website, and they have not provided most of them. We have been trying to follow up with the BDA officials from past 1 year, but no progress at all.

STW, Water Sump and Over head tank are not at all well maintained. It was the builder responsibility to well maintain this, but they did not do it and now there maintenance tenure is getting over in a month and we are left hanging with these many problems.

I Olaganathan K age 94, hereby bring to your notice that I have been requesting for my sale deed for my house allotted by City Improvement Trust Board on 05.08.1965. Site No. 59 Vannarapet Layout, 3rd cross Bengaluru 560047.
After many requests I was asked to submit all the documents along with letter. I had submitted attested xerox copies of the documents and original EC from 1966 to 2020 and affidavit on 23.12.2020 acknowledgement receipt No. 377607 at Office of the Commissioner BDA.
I had visited your BDA office numerous times but I am unable to get my original Sale Deed for for Registeration.
Since I am aged 94 and sick I am unable to visit BDA office frequently, hence I humbly request you to help me to get the Sale Deed and enable me to register the same.

We had paid property tax on 05/09/2020 through online for property ID- [protected]. The payment was successful but we have not received any receipt/challan and the online site still showing to pay now. We had dropped email regarding this but there is no reponse. Please do the needful.

The water supply was approved in the year 2017, but till today there is no water supply for BDA lay out, Anjanapura extension lay out, 12th block, Gottigere, Bangalore 560083, almost all the houses are purchasing water since the beginning of this layout as there is no water source found. When do this BDA do their job as promised?? When do we get water??? Is this the reason wh should fall behind purchasing sites in BDA lay out? Shame shame..

My name is R Srikrishna Rao and I have booked a flat at BDA Kaniminike site in Kumbalgodu.

Initial deposit was made online on May 17, 2021 and due to lockdown, I visited BDA office to submit all the required documents on June 28, 2021.

It has been more than 45 days since I submitted documents at BDA office and I am still struggling to get the NOC and Allotment letter from your offices. The people I am in contact with, always give me one reason or the other. It is getting very difficult to extract correct information.

Can anyone tell me the reason for delay? When can I expect to receive the NOC and allotment letter? I have already discussed loan formalities with banks and it will be cleared as soon as documents are received form BDA.

I am expecting a response on this matter, as soon as possible.

I own BDA site bearing site number 1763 in Sri M Vishweshwariah layout 4th block. Next to my site bearing number 1762 there is old & damaged house which is occupied by miscreants. During night times old house is used mostly by miscreants to hang out and consume alcohol and create inconvenience to public.

I request BDA to demolish this old structure in the interest of safety of the residence in the area.

I am resident of MAHAVEER HORIZON in Ayyappanagar KRPuram. We bought plots from builder, as per his communication thais is a gated community which is approved by BDA for 173 units (villas) now that few of the plot owners are constructing multiple units in single dwelling unit. When asked they are saying they got permission from BDA. However in JD between builder and landlords it is clearly stated that only 173 units needs to be built and amenities also have been provided to accommodate based on that. We feel we got cheated by builder as he did not communicate clearly. Because of which 2 groups are formed 1 group for building only villas and 2 group to build multiple units to rent. Please help to get clarity else this may disrupt the peace and harmony. Please request to take this priority.

Our Residential Apartment has 96 flats.It is constructed at Sy No 64/1 to 64/4, 65(P), 66/2 to 66/9, of Anjanapura Village, Block - I in the year 2009. We have taken the possession of Flats and started living in it. BDA has also issued occupation certificate duly signed by Engineer Member of BDA. Since 2009 we are remitting Tax to BDA. It is regrettable to inform you that BDA has not extended any facilities such as Kaveri Water connection, Road repairs/ Black topping, Sewerage, drainage, Street lights from last 11 years. further please note the road leading to our flats have now become crater/pothole the same is not repaired by BDA from last 11years. No BDA officials has visited Our Apartment to verify the deficiency, while transferring to BBMP they have transferred only Independent sites at Royal Park Residency Layout to BBMP leaving, except our Apartments.
Another strange matter is the properties/sites on all the 3 sides are under control of BBMP.

South - Anjanapura Village,

East. - Tamarind Tree Resort.
All the 3 property/area are under the control of BBMP.
The occupation certificate dated:27-Mar-2010, issued by Engineer member of BDA is clearly states our JSR-Banyan Apartment is in Royal park residency. The occupation certificate is enclosed here with properties is for your perusal.
We have given letter of request to Revenue Officer, BDA Complex, Padmanabha Nagar, Bangalore on[protected], Whereas till now we have not heard any response from Bangaluru Development authority.
We request you to look into our grievances and transfer our Residential flats' relative records to Bruhat Bangalore .Mahanagar Palike in order to get all amenities.

I am constructing house JP nagar 9th phase 1st block opp to HM world city, but BDA site allocation was happened in 2003 till now drainage system is not ready & it is extended only in main road so requesting concerned authorities to look at this issue & to facilitate extension of drainage system in my residing road.

I have a complaint on Single Parent lady Land owner, she has Raised solid wall compound next to her own house, without any legal paper documents and she tells everyone she wants to buy at any cost,

My Question to BDA OFFICERS sir
Without Registration how anybody can Raised the wall,
This single Parent lady past 2 years without any legal documents she don't have and she raised solid bricks compound,
Why BDA not taken any action in last 2 Years.

Why No Responsibility?

In Arkavathi Layout 5th Block K Narayanapura we don't have any basic Convenient (Water facilities, Sewerage link, Concrete road). Kindly arrange the facilities.

I have paid the property tax on online on 30.06.2021through canara Bank netbanking but till date the tax receipt is not generated. this is the IInd reminder. refer Property Id No [protected]. pl. verify and respond immediately.

We have our house Banashankari 6th stage, 6th Block, and we need the street light to be fixed with immediate effect as we have shifted 4 month back and being follow up with local engineer from past 6 month to our new house there but still its been pending from longtime
and there is a lot of Darkness and lot of snakes in and around we do have youngsters and kids ..
I request you to look into this issue and resolve the problem sir

Dear sir/madam I am a resident of rpc layout vijayanagar by name pradeep I am requesting to consult BDA officials to reopen the road connecting attigupe to rpc layout area as it is been closed by putting unwanted wasted muds rocks etc etc
This was done during lockdown so afterwards it should have been cleared but still some officials are trying to close the road permanently to help some community to do functions

Because of this we residences are facing lot of problems pls reopen this road as soon as possible
Daily around 1000s of personalities travel in this road so y r they trying to close these roads

I have paid online on 30 May 2020 an amount of Rs 1227 towards property taxes wide Challan No 1014182 for property ID [protected] through my Canara Bank debit card.

Due inefficient BDA system I didn’t get acknowledgment. I have sent several emails to the systems manager as per the is given in their website. There’s absolutely no response. I am trying to call BDA main office. They have several numbers but none gets answered.

This year I have to the property tax. They have added the amount with interest. I am unable to get a confirmation about the payment made.

I am a senior citizen- unable to go personally to BDA and follow it up.

On visiting the Banashankari complex BDA office they told me to enquire at BDA Head office. My several calls are not being attended and not picking the call. I submit the details hereunder:
