we resident of Vishweshwaraih 5th Block Manganalli cross, ullal main Road Bangalore-560056 residents facing lot of problem. residents who are living in site No. 1807 to 1816 facing following problem

1) There is no Road ( pathetic condition of road photo attached)

2) there is proper drainage system.

3) swell from sewage water flowing in nala ( due to unauthorised connections).

we request concerned dept and officer to look into this and solve the issue at the earliest

One Stray Dog is a problem

There is a particular stray dog on 11th cross, 7th main, btm 2nd stage (mico layout) that is barking at people and menacing them. It is a white dog with one ear and part of face black. Request you to take that dog away. Regards

I am Resident of Bangalore, Near Domlur 2nd Stage, BDA Layout.

Every day we are facing the attack of stray dogs. Even in day time, I have seen children are being attacked by dogs. I have spent nearly Rs.5000 for treatment of my guests and me to save our lives after getting bitten by dogs.

Due to some interest of Managaka Gandi to Dogs, public are suffering from stray dogs. If she is realy interest in stray dogs, let her open a farm for stray dog at her cost or let those dogs stay at her house, why public should suffer for some one mad personal interest.

Govt has to take some serious action on this issue ... or after some day youth like us take the rule in hand .

We are really scared of these huge no. of stray dogs in each and every Street here in munnekolala and around marathahalli. when its 9 o'clock in the night inside and the roads become slowly empy these stray dogs starts their horrow show. Atleast 1/2 persons/children get attacked by them.

I have recently shifted here thinking HSR as an excellent and peaceful locality. But the street dogs in my area are proving me wrong. It seems the DOGs here forms group and fight among themselves.

We have elders and patients at home who really can't sleep during night times because of these street dogs. Sometimes, we really can't be in peace of mind or we can't study anything.

I completely agree with the DOG menace, the question is who is reading this page and which civic body needs to take action ? for all those tray dog lovers, please take them home if you like them so much. As long as its NOT you or your child who is getting attacked its very easy to be a dog supporter. Neuter and eliminate stray dog menace in DOMLUR and indira Nagar areas.

I stay in Kodihalli, 80 feet road, near Old Airport Road. Past 6 months onwards I m suffering from stray dogs. Everyday it will be a big problem while reaching home in the late nights. Even after reaching I m not able to sleep peacefully coz, through out the night dogs bark like anything.

Please take a serious action and save us from these stray dogs.

I stay near Muneeswara Temple Street/80 feet road junction. Recently a high mast lamp was installed and it has helped in reducing the darkness at night at this very spot. Thanks for the BJP caders who took this initiate.

However, the dog torture is increasing even after recent sterilization drive. Why have they not killed the ferocious dogs.

80 feet road from CMH Road to Jeevan Beema Nagar main road is a happening area. However, the stretch of 80 feet road upto the end of the road (with twists and turns) seems to be regarded as out of Bangalore authority. 80 feet road becomes very narrow after Food Point shop. There are meat shops in this area.

At night it becomes EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to walk around this spot. The stretch of Kodihalli Main Road from the Corporation school to 80 feet road is also very dangerous at night. There is a site of public dump yard. Stray dogs sit on garbage.

Is Kodihalli a part of Bangalore or is it out of BBMP management?

At night dogs attack without provocation. There is a fully while dog which particularly attacks without any provocation at night. There are three or four dogs which are in pack and they bark at anyone walking at night. At this rate there is going to be death waiting to happen if BBMP dont eradicate the monsters.

Will BBMP officials visit Kodihalli and see for themselves at night, why not they experiment and come for inspection and see if they wont be attacked.

Does BBMP want to wait for dog related deaths to happen?

There is a butcher shop and chicken shop at entrance of Muneeswara Temple Street. They feed meat to stray dogs and these dog becomes ferocious at night.

Does BBMP want any bribe to control the Dog Torture in Kodihalli. If BBMP requires a bribe will they eradicate the attacking dogs after they receive this bribe? How much bribe money does Kodihalli Corporation officials or BBMP officials want to eradicate these monsters out of the area.

Will the corporation official at Kodihalli inspect the 80 feet road/Kodihalli Main Road/Muneeswara Temple Street spots at night to see how serious the problem is.

Each and every street of Isro layout has atleast 15-20 stray dogs. recently it has given birth to 8 puppies again today...and most of the puppies lie down near my house gate. It is really scary to come out of the house.Most of dogs make hell lot of noise and they keep staring and chasing the 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers & they Even chase the pedestrians. We too facing the same problem in BTM layout 1st stage, 9th 'A' Main, 3rd main road, 4th Cross. Stray dogs barks continuously and it distrubs everybody's sleep for the whole night.Especially kids and elders, who are in real need o[censored]ndistrubed sleep are distrubed alot. This locality is infested with at least 50 stray dogs in the lane opposite to the church adjacent Kovai Farm Fresh vegetable shop.

Please rescue us as when we come from office these scare us to hell.
Even in morning also the same menace. If we wear a jacket/ carry a guitar bag/ or a different outfit, dogs coming running like anything ... Please rescue us !!!

I'm a resident of HSR Layout sector 2. There are 15-20 dogs in my area. They keep barking throughout the night. Not only this, they also attack people. When I called the control room BBMP, I was told to speak to Dr. Piran, joint-director BBMP who informed me to 'endure' it as there is no solution to barking and biting of dogs. This is really annoying as I can't sleep at night and it's affecting my professional/personal life.

Is there anyone in Banaglore who can solve this problem? I understand that killing dogs is illegal now and all citizens are expected to 'respect' dogs. But if this problem continues, then that day won't be long when residents will take law in their own hands and find a solution. We pay taxes, not the dogs. Dog-lovers/BBMP can build a shelter for stray dogs if they really care about them. But I must say this is a hypocrite decision. On one side we allow killing of chicken, goats, cows, etc and on the other hand killing a dog is illegal. BBMP can least do a 'favor' by moving these dogs outside the city.

I have been in many cities in India but Bangalore wins when it comes to Stray Dog Menace.
The problem is not confined to one area but almost every part of this so called hi-tech bangalore.
I might not have a problem today as I drive a car but I did go through some of the most horrific situations in my life when i just had a bike.
Whoever supports these Dogs should be made to walk past or ride past these Dogs in the night and they will understand.
I have been reading all those complaints here but not sure if anyone(authorities) is really bothered to do something about it.
By the way, I write this as I just happened to see an incident a couple of days back: A guy riding a bike was attacked by these stray dogs, fell off the bike. I inquired today and seems he is in ICU (guy is from a poor family background).

When I came to Bangalore, There waas a cool breeze in my heart to see Bangalore.
I really enjoyed the chillness and greeneries of Bangalore.
But also I can see the WORST Maintenance of Garden City. Not only me but also the youths and future citizens are worrying about the cleanliness of Bangalore. I feel very soon the name Garden city will become Dog City.
Yes. It’s true. Dhoddethogur, Electronic City, Koramangala, Madiwala Indhra NAgar, Banshankari etc etc all those place are occupied by street dogs.
For example take Doddethogur, you can see really 100s of street dogs always shouting and disturbing the people. All those dogs are tasted the meats like chicken, mutton and fish and now they are waiting for human meats. All young parents are very careful to prevent their little babies from dogs bites. In night times especially mid-nights their shouting, barking and fighting are really very high and people who are going for night shift are very afraid to use the roads. Please take necessary action to remove those dogs from the city and help your people especially kids from dog bites and barkings. If you will not take the right action, then 100% surely Bangalore will become very dangerous animal city.

I am also victim of stray dog attack, dogs attacking people on road with no reasons. Very afraid to walk on road at Night time ( after 7pm). Here few people supporting stray dogs, they are feeding stray dogs and allowing to play stray dog with their own dog.

A street dog ( along with a owner's dog ) attacked me on road in front of owner. Even after the incident, the owner was supporting the dogs and taken both dogs to her home.

Government officials should take serious action against such incidents and warn the dog owners also.

Stray dogs are big problem in this area. People are really afraid to walk on the road.

These are nuisance and some of the people in the name of god (dog) encourage this. Even some days back The BIA also raised a complaint about the population of Dog at Airport creating problem in take off and landing and Bangalore Authorities are just passing the bucks here and there.

It is not just dog menace. There is also ILLEGAL CHICKEN FARMING being carried out in Kodihalli/HAL in several houses. Some of them have have four or five roosters crawing from 4:30AM in the morning.

There is no concept of following noise regulations in Bangalore. In fact, bursting of crackers even at 2AM is allowed only in Bangalore.

Obvious Bangalore is a city even crimes are not reported. So violations like these are not important.

Behind a 'modern' outlook of Bangalore is underlying mindset of a tribal lawless culture.

First of all you need to brush up your knowledge of spellings. Its Maneka Gandhi not "Gandi'
Next, I would like to extend my concern over the street dog menace in your locality.Have you informed Bda or BBMP. Because usually they take care of these issues. Maneka Gandhi is very far away from here. Let us not bring her into this and solve this ourselves at the local level.Cupa can help too.

I am highly disappointed with the apathy shown towards the safety of public in the Hebbal Kempapura region. I reside at one of the apartments at 3rd Main road in Hebbal Kempapura and there are around 15-20 stray dogs. Because of these stray dogs my wife fell from the bike and has serious injuries all over the body. Even after repeated complaints against these stray dogs, no action has been taken yet. It is highly unacceptable that the authority shows such indifference to public safety. I kindly request once again to get rid of all the stray dogs in the Kempapura region.

There are close to 10- 15 stray dogs which attack people with impunity. everyday I go through this ordeal. I see some 10 dogs ganging up and chasing people travelling by bikes, cycles and mopeds. I have also witnessed people falling from their vehicles trying to apply brake out of fear. I unfortunately do not know how many are fatal. I am seriously worried about the lackadasical approach of the BBMP and alos have the strongest of words for CUPA and animal lovers. either these gentlemen take ownership of these dogs and save the general public or they play a part in eradicating this menace

I live in Indra nagar and am happy to report that there are very few, happy healthy stray dogs in my area. They are all vaccinated and sterilized, and mind their own business. Thank you for taking good care of the dogs and us. R. Ramesh.

Neither in my colony or anywhere else have we had any problems with our street dogs. They're all vaccinated, sterilised and neutured. Infact they're amazing guard dogs for the colony. They raise alarms when required, when the human guards and police fail miserably.

I think you should get the dogs in your colony vaccinated and sterilised. Dogs also don't attack without reason EVER. So it's strange that there are 'SO MANY' dogs biting and attacking. I wonder how only you and your friends are attacked. Strange, don't you think?

Also, this country is a beautiful country. We have tolerant people who work things out in a compassionate manner. You want to right things, then get the dogs sterilised and vaccinated and start feeding them. Make friends with the world around you.

I am staying in basavanna nagar main road, near hoodi circle, whitefield and facing the same problem of stray dogs. The reason behind stray dogs in this area is so many 'MEAT' shops with un-hygienic conditions. They will hang the chickens and lambs literally on road making HELL to croos the road by padestrians. This aread has become BUTCHER's arwa rather than RESIDENT's colony.

The foul smell out of these meat shops is unbearable. Health inspectors should do regular checks in such shops to maintain hygiene. Licensed shops does not mean: they will do whatever they want just because they have got license to make public's life HELL.

Don't know whether somebody really read these posts and take action against such shops or we are just taking our frustration out on just website.

I urge BBMP to pls take some serious action ASAP.

Very bad stray dog menace near my place. A whole group of stray dogs howl and bark continuously after midnight everyday causing severe inconvenience to all the residents in the area. There have been multiple instances of dogs attacking kids, old ladies etc. at night. They seem to thrive on the garbage left outside by some of the residents which needs to be addressed as well.
Please arrange for this menace to be removed from the area.

In our Area we have around 10 to 20 huge street dogs,
We are really scared of these huge no. of stray dogs in our Street here in LIC colony 7th main. when its day and night and the roads become slowly empy these stray dogs starts their horrow show. Atleast 1/2 persons/children get attacked by them.mainly children afraid to play or go outside.

Each and Every day we are facing the attack of stray dogs.

Its our humble request to these BMP people on behalf of all the LIC Colony 7th Main or 1st block/ 3rd block east jayanagar, Please do something with these stray dogs.

Hello This is Abhilash I'm a resident of Vijaynagar near 14th main road[post office] Bangalore,
Today i Type this message with a lot of pent up frustration and anger to announce my displeasure towards the rampant stray dog situation near my house.
To begin with, there are atleast 4-5 stray dogs near my house which are always on the prowl. They basically live off the garbage thrown near the parks close by and are growing more aggressive by the day..
I had lost my pet cat to them 9 months ago when they attacked it early in the morning
It took a lot out of my family to recover from that loss. after that we adopted another pet cat. These crazy dogs even jumped our house fence a couple of times are attacked our cat.. with great we rescued it and nurtured it back to recovery. But it never stopped, after this, our cat got attacked twice more..
and Today morning, i woke up to hear from my mom that 5 dogs had cornered out cat early in the morning and killed it. even when our neighbors tried to shoo them away by throwing stones, then dint budge.. they kept attacking the cat and finally the poor little creature couldnt take no more.
I am not the only one who has an issue with the dogs here. previously, many residents have complained about the dogs but only one dog was captured the last time.
I beg of the BMP to take necessary actions against these dogs and relocate or rehabilitate them.. The residents here cannot do much against them because the best we can do is throw stones at them which does not make any impact on them
Our family has already lost two pets which were very dear to us . I cannot bear to see the same happening to others.
Please do something about this.

I reside in Marathahalli exact location Anand nagar opposite Kalamandir. there are couple of stray dogs there and keep on attacking the commuters even i was attacked three times. please help us from these by catching these dogs and moving them.

these dogs sit exactly opposite to swift automobiles and go wild in the night 1 dog is effected with rabies please catch it it has brown and black color and small white spots on its back

I stay in Bommanahalli(Virat Nagar, 12th Plat, Sree venkat swamy nilaya, Land mark :Sai Ground) . There are 15-20 dogs in our area. It is really scary to come out of the house.Most of dogs make hell lot of noise in the nights we are not able to have sound sleep and fear to come out also. Please relocate them to a different location.

There are far too many dogs in my street and its extremely difficult to get any sort of sleep as hey form 2 packs and keep howling and barking the whole night(i am writing this mail at 2:30 am ). these dogs also attack people who are coming back from 2nd shift and children.

We are facing lot of problems with the stray dogs. I have shifted to this house about 7 months back. I have seen at least 3 people have been bitten by these dogs. Once I saw an old man was attacked by these dogs. I immediately ran to the place to his rescue. But these dogs even tried to attack me. Since I was carrying a rod with me, I was saved and even other people came to my rescue. I kindly request you to do the needful and make people live peacefully.

I am resident of Rajashree layout, Munnekolala, Marathalli. All the streets of my area are full of stray dogs, both in day and night time. Daily we are having at least one case of dog biting in our area. A week before, I was driving bike and my friend was sitting behind me who was bitten by a dog. There is always a possibility that these aggressive dogs attack on bike drivers or the crowd passing nearby. Please help in this regard.

I have been staying here in HSR from quite sometime with my familty. For last 3-4 months I am facing a lot of challenges because of the street dogs. Everyday in the morning starting from around 6.45 AM some of the dogs go mad and starts barking for atleast 20 mins non-stop. It seems the dogs here forms group and fight among themselves.

Because of all this we really can't sleep properly in the morning and also during the night as well because of these street dogs. Sometimes, we really can't be in peace of mind.

i hope whoever whats the stray dogs dead be born as stray in next janma.. Hope you all know nothing is permanent. Even we need to transit soon from alive to death. When that happens, you will wandering in streets with no food, stones pelted and for silly reason such as bark you will be pinned down and put to dealth. Conducted experiments. I face the same problem. I work in the day shift and have to usually walk home from work. I come back at around 10PM, there have been several incidents where dogs have chased me or my friends. This is not all. I live in AECS layout near reliance fresh ad the stray dogs usually fight among themselves and howl late at night. Their howling usually continues till early morning. This effects my sleep and my work the next day. I have tried talking to the neighbours, everyone wants the dogs to be captured but nobody would come up and do anything about it.
I believe we will have to stand up for ourselves. I REQUEST YOU ALL TO SIGN A PETITION where we would ask the proper authorities to handle this situation within a specified time frame, failing which we would march to their office in person. Remember that moving to a different location will not help since these dogs are everywhere.
If I receive more than 100 likes for this post (since, a small number of people will not be able to change this scenario), I will create this petition myself and pass it along for your signatures.

I stay in “KUMBALGODU” (CAUVERY KALPATHARU GRAMEENA BANK Road)
“BANGALORE MYSORE HIGHWAY”. In our road there are lot of dog’s stay where it is very difficult for us to walk or go by bike; so many times I had given complaint but no use. Dog has attacked so many small children.

I am a resident of BTM layout 1st stage 32nd main 5th cross. I am not concerned about "Stray dogs barks continuously and it distrubs everybody's sleep for the whole night" But in my area after 10 pm almost 20+ dogs will form a gang and they start biting people. In this week it self they bite 4 people including my apartment watchmen. The poor watchmen have to spend around 5k at st.johns hospital to get that cured.

BBMP has to do something about this . very seriously. from last 2 months this problems is getting more serious in our area.

Please understand that Bangalore is an IT hub and there are thousands of people working late nights including me. Though we have cab facilities, people like me go by own transport. You need not do anything to provocate dogs. They chase bikes no matter how you ride. Even when 'door to door' drop is provided, people may need to walk few feets or meters to reach their home. Within short distance itself they shall b aggressive and threat to us. Animal lovers dont understand the difficulty faced daily due to stray dog menace. For heavens sake, do what ever you guys want, please take them out of the city.

There are are over 15+ stray dogs in and around JP Nagar Phase 2 18th main road howling throughout the day and night. Some of them chase me when i go for a jog in the morning. Many harass people and nothing's being done about it. Children are scared to play outside. Day before yesterday when i drove back to Bangalore on my bike reaching around 10PM, some of them even tried to attack!

Is this why i pay taxes? I have registered multiple complaints with the municipal board and on online forums. This is sickening and dangerous. Please kill these dogs.

I am resident of Kumaraswamy Layout II Stage - 13th Main, Vajramuni Road, Bangalore II Stage . Our main road is notorious for several street and household dogs. They are barking all through the night giving nuisance, sleepless to old and sick, health hazards from dog bites and road users.

Many of the households are keeping one dog or another and they always bark at night giving endless sleepless nights . Further there are at least 20 to 30 stray dogs in each main road in KSL layout giving scary in night walking or latecomers to their homes.

We are planning to convert our road to Dog Street and Dog Corner points to warn the residents and passers by .

· Stringent punishment for creating nuisance to the public from the culprits house owners
. The stray dogs must be culled to end the menace . The animal right activists must be allowed to bring them up in their house holds to end the dog menace.

· Efforts to tie up with the safe and security of the public with more police vigilance and social groups gathered on voluntary basis .

· Licensed dogs are only to be kept in the households and they needs to be collared with belt. All these dogs mouths needs to be closed during the day time for not making barking at every instance of any activity.
