I had parked my two wheeler in Roopena agarahara outside my flat Prabhavathi Rishab on 15th Feb 2014 at around 1PM. A BESCOm electricity pole fell on my vehicle causing danages upto Rs 18000/-. When I called the Assistant engineer of the area he niether accepted their mistake nor offered me any comhensation but rather put the blame back on me. Please help.

        Hoodi circle near railway gate is facing frequent disruption of electricity since the past 6 months. The AE and EE are not at all catering to the complaints raised by the consumers. Even the BESCOM customer care is unhelpful and only lodges complaints without raising the priority or getting the issue resolved. Please look into this matter on a urgent basis as this is making life hell for people living in that area.

          FI am a resident of 47th cross ,8th block, jaysnagar. There is power cut for more than 5 hours sunce morning 8 am. This has not been informed earlier neither through newspaper announcement nor handouts. This is a serious problem.we could not go to the office also as there us no power and we could not even take bath n have our breakfast n lunch. Persons who recive the call in the complsints department speak very callouslly. Please help us out in this regard.

          THERE IS UN SCHEDULED POWER CUT IN DOMLUR OPPOSITE TO HOTEL SHANTHI SAGAR CPWD QTRS THER WILL BE FINAL EXAMS FOR THE CHILDREN COMMENCING FROM MARCH 1st WEEK THEREFORE IT WILL BE VERY DIFFICULT FOR THE CHILDREN TO PREPARE FOR THE EXAMS. KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM

              Hi,
              I am staying in Ramamurthy Nagar, Bangalore. For last few moths there are frequent power cuts at the night time for longer duration (Around 4 hrs). Citing an example here , on 2nd May 2013 from 10 PM the power went away and only restored at around 1:30. I called the complaint number of BESCOM [protected], they always used to give some tentative time when the power is expected to be restored but it used to get prolonged every time. I asked them for local JEE number and they gave me the same. But the JEE seems to be very unaccountable as he always keeps his number switched off. Same thing happened again exactly after 1 week i.e on 9th May 2013 when there was rain. This time even the complaint number was not working (Intentionally made not to work). The power went away around 9:45 PM and started playing hide and sick (Coming and going) from around 12 till 2 o clock. In between this 2 hrs almost around 10 to 15 time it went and came. I tried to call everybody but nobody's phone was working. This shows the carelessness of the BESCOM employee. This is not new but no body is taking action against these people. Hope some governing body will look after this and wipe those careless people out of BESCOM so that people of Bangalore won't feel like as if staying in some remote village area.

              Again today (12th May 2013) here we have to bear a power cut for 4.5 hrs. I called area AE, but he had no clue. I called the BESCOM complain they did what they used to do, simple giving some false timeline. In last 5 days we are experiencing around 8 to 10 hrs power trouble every day. No body taking and responsibility to fix the problem permanently. Why there are no reply from BESCOM for these posts where as other private organisation used to reply..Aren't we paying electricity bill.. Or BESCOM is out of world organisation.
              We are staying in Ramamurthy Nagar lakahmi tent road .there is a frequent power cut in our lane there is no power more than 12hours help is very worst they are picking the call .

              its very wrost from bescom daily power cuts longer time : compare to this city village is better there is always 24 hrs power will be there,

              but here in nri layout its habbit to cut the power if they not cut daily atlist 2 or 3 times they will not sleep well

              and customer service is award winning

              When I complaint to Mrs. Manjula about the case of Raghavendra Nagar, she has so promptly seen responding ahead of my request to solve problem. Hatts Off to her!!. I see a Transformer is changed to rectify the issue prevailing at 7th Main 1st Cross and 2nd Cross. We are going to check in next 1-2 weeks and give our BIG THANK NOTE to her.

              Today without any reason power cut in Ramamurthy from morning. U must inform bfr doing it to locality ppl. We dont have water to drink now n fr regular uses. How pathetic politicians here in bangalore. No one is concerned about common ppl.
              Too much power cut at hoysala Nagar, ramamurthy Nagar. Here people are suffering/feadup with power problem s. None of bescom customer care no are working. In terms of power villages are far better than Bangalore.. please resolve the power problem.
              We are staying in Ramamurthy nagar devika apparao layout, there is frequent power cuts, there is no response from Bescom at from last one year 2019 Dec to Dec 2020, I complaint many times, as they always say sun rises in the east, but never tell how soon they are going to resolve, I hope it helps to higher management to look into it, I even experience 24hours power cut, this is really feel like I am living in worse place in the earth, just small rain come power cut 2-6 hours, without reason also power cut, I can't even imagine that how I say to my work colleagues about this issue, I feel like ashamed to tell same reason not joining calls, and so so.. I hope it will help to resolve as soon as possible,

              This pic is shoot in hyderabad when there is 20 cms of rainfall.. With un interrupted power cut.. This how the government and electricity board works.. But in bangalore the situation is very worst.. Especially in ramamurthy nagar it very worst.. For just a small spell they will turn off the power .. Interruption would be minimum of 3 hrs to upto there wish extend half day full days goes on..

                  The street lights on the 2nd Cross and 9th A Main to 9th C Main Hosahalli, Vijayanagar Bangalore 560040 are not working( not turned on), as a result of which there a total dark patch of about 200- 400mts. This will definitely work to the advantage of miscreants who can trouble passersby on the road during night hours. It is absolutely scary for ladies to walk on the road after dark.

                  BBMP / Bescom is requested to do the needful...

                  Hi,
                  I used to submit BESCOM electric bills through credit card. I observed that the BESCOM server is charging the bill to my credit card account continuously same bill again and again.

                  Its the misuse of credit card details which the server registers with password and uses whenever selected by the operator.

                  Its a pure misconduct of credit card details by the server "http://www.bescomepayment.com/EPaymen".
                  It proves the BESCOM server is not a reliable site to used for online payments.
                  I suggest to all the consumers not to use this site as this is being used by the useless government employees to fill there own pockets by stealing and cheating the consumers. While the Governments are simply busy enjoying the stability of economy.

                  My details:
                  RRNo. 7EEH30029/ 31.
                  Bangalore CV Raman Nagar.
                  Amount charged 573+49 more then once, without notifying or information to me.
                  This is a case of forgery by the Government departments in India.

                    Hi,
                    I have noticed theft of power occurring in the Sirsi Circle Police Qtrs.
                    The theft of the power is not from a single house, but the entire people staying in the quarters are misusing the power illegally.
                    Due to this, there is huge loss to the BESCOM from past so many years.
                    Since the electricity in the quarters are not legal, the residents are neither switching off the electric appliances like Electric Heaters, Geysers, Refrigerators for long durations, which consumers more power and pay pea nuts to the BESCOM.
                    Please look into this issue ASAP.
                    If you guys were not able to put break on this issue, then it will be escalated to the higher management via Mass Media.

                        This is with regards to the frequent power cuts in my area (Ramamurthy Nagar). From past one week the power cuts have been too many and there has been no notification or information about this. The happens both during the day and night timings. Iam mother of a 6 month old baby and that is one main reason that iam writing this complaint. For me my child's health is very important and due to these power cuts my baby is unable to sleep as it is core summer time now. Today there has been power cuts from 8.30 pm in the evening and my baby has not slept from then till 11:30 pm. i understand that there has been shortage of power in Bangalore and thats one reason why power cuts are done, but at-least these should be limited.

                        The government of Karnataka has to do something about this issue. Me and my husband have been regular tax payers and iam sure we have all rights to say this. When states like Kerala can completely withdraw load shedding, i don't understand why this is happening in Karnataka. We have so many cities in India which never have power cuts and compared those cities Bangalore cannot be called a Metro city.

                        Iam sure there are lots of babies in Bangalore who lose their sleep because of these reckless power cuts. Whomever is reading this complaint please can you do something at-least for these babies.

                        Any Bescom official monitoring this forum,

                        I do understand the power situation in Karnataka is not looking very good and therefore power cuts are unavoidable. My only request is to make this as a planned exercise. So that citizens can plan accordingly. Planned cuts means 1) power cuts for a fixed time period every day (e.g. 1or 2 hours daily) 2) timing fixed and on a rotation basis in each location (for e.g. 9-10 am for a week in a specific location, then this moves to 10-11 am for the next week in the same location) etc. This ensures not particular location has a disadvantage wrt to a specific time period.

                        This is applied in most of the Metro cities like Mumbai. It would be good to see this in Bangalore too.

                        We have been experiencing frequent power cuts in Sarjapura region. Initially, all the residence thought that it may be happening due to scheduled power cuts. But, very recently it has been observed that this is not a scheduled cut but the The BESCOM concerned authority is acting very irresponsible. Moreover, whenever we call the help desk number, the number is purposely kept on busy tone or no one picks up. Sometimes, the concerned people misguide by provide faulty information.

                        I request the concerned people to look into this matter immediately. People should understand the importance of electricity. We understand that there is more demand than the supply of electricity but government authorities should not shy away from their core responsibility.

                        I hope that this problem will be resolved very soon so that people of Sarjapura can have their peace of mind.

                        I recently reloacated from Indranagar to KR Puram and first experience i had in the new location was the Power cuts, in indranagar the powecuts are Scheduled, probably once or twice in a day and would be for a hour, but in KR Puram its unscheduled and is very frequent probably 5 to 6 times in a day and happens for few mins or for few hours, i understand power cuts happen accross other cities but over here its very frequent and when you have power cuts for few mins or so the electrical appliances take the brunt of it, would request you to kindly look into the matter and have it fixed at the earliest.

                        There was no power supply from 04/28/2011 6pm to 4/29/2011 12pm in Doddathogur, Electronics City . Also there wasfrequent power cuts today too. Part of the area is getting power alsways. Could you please look into that?
                        I'm a resident of J.P.Nagar Phase 2 and power cuts have become an EVERYDAY affair now, since August. They are unscheduled and last for 1 hour minimum. I have made atleast 30-40 calls to the BESCOM call center regarding this long term issue but nothing has been done and nothing is being done either.
                        Students have exams going on and the heavy rains make use of mosquito repellants necessary, which can't be used without power. Due to frequent cuts, our electronics are bearing the brunt and we already had to change our TV.

                        PLEASE HELP ME AND THE RESIDENTS OF JP NAGAR 2ND PHASE OUT AGAINST BESCOM'S INCOMPETENCE AND NEGLIGENCE.

                          My name has been wrongly spelt in the BESCOM register as Chaluva Raj instead of SELVARAJAN.K, consumer ID:[protected]; RR No.7EEH14555. When I went to the department to get it changed, they were unable to locate the file?!?! and asked me to come some other day for a thorough check.

                          I don't understand why I have to waste my time going to their office when they have lost the file due to their negligence!
                          In fact, they should be calling me after they search for the file and find it and complete the name change activity.

                            my mother smt.parvathamma has a house @ #1 1st cross obaiah lane akkipet cross bangalore
                            an electric pole is leaning to the walls of the house.my mother had orally complained to the bescom to remove the pole because of constant fear of the pole which may cause electric hazard. but no action was taken by bescom and the electricity pole is now completly leaning to the house therefore the bescom authority should take serious the nature of my complaint for quick action to shift the pole and to re erect the electric pole.if bescom does not take such action and any untoward electric hazard happens the ultimate responsbility is the bescom authority .Hence the bescom officals has to take immeditate action against this complaint and the same should be intimated to me

                              My RR NO is 1SH47437, Consumer no is[protected], Location code is 1120301. At 1 PM 09/02/2012 at my residence 57, 2 main road, NAL layout, 4 T Block Jayanagar, Bangalore-41. He din't take any permision he directly disconnected the electricty connection. He stated arguments I was telling that I will pay the bill. Is there any rule that he can do dada giri on the people residing in the house. It is like rowdy style. This is not the way to behave with the customers. Is there any rule that if any person has not paid a month bill and if the billing person can come and disconnet without any permision of customer. I told I am paying the bill now also if he can disconnect. The this is making bad impression against the governament. He is telling if you want you complain what they will do. If you want I go and complain he tell! Is this the way to behave. He tells they can't take any action against me. I asked his those employes name they din't. Why governament will not take any action against they. He is not wearing the uniform nor having ID card nor wering shoes. He is not following rules. According to govenament rules governament employes are not the owners of the government they are the government servents. They should not brake rules. Every person should respect the customers. The employes should not behave as owners.

                                5th block HBR Layout Bangalore 560045. (Service Road -Nagawara Outer ring road junction to forest area).
                                One of the three phase electric wire was snapped by the JCB of BWSSB while laying water pipes four years back.
                                Two electric poles were partially damaged by the JCB at the same time.
                                Instant complaints to AE and AEE of the area were made with no headway. There is the danger of the poles collapsing into my home which is on this service road , a potential hazard to my family

                                  Sub:Dispute in Electric bill (RR NO 4EEH18266 WF SUB DIVISION)


                                  With reference to the above mentioned RR number please find attached account statement for your reference,Where the reading is showing 397 units for the month of DEC 2011 ie bill no 865 dtd[protected] for Rs.1979/-. But for your kind information our usage is not upto that extend. Our average monthly usage is on and average 200 units. And we have not added any addtional load in this month and most of the days in this month we are away from home. Whereas, for the month of Dec. 2011 the electricity usage account statement shows as 397 units which is not correct. We are suspecting malfunctioning of meter. You are requested to look into the case and the correct bill should be send to us so that we can make the payment accordingly.

                                    Even if you have been paying your bills regularly for years but you miss one bill or pay it few days late, the bescom cuts you power connection.
                                    This is not acceptable practice, the connection should not be cut for non payment/ Delay for few days. Bescom can charge fine for non payment of first bill and then wait for next billing cycle to take the drastic step.
