I purchased two units of Beelink mini-PC, and one kept powering off and wouldn't boot up, while the other unit was fine. After giving up and trying later I discovered that it was hot because after being powered down it would boot up. I adjusted the BIOS to allow it to run hot and I was able to check the temperature with "sensors" program. The normal unit ran in the range of 45C-60C but the defective one runs at 77C-83C, which causes the fan to continuously run, which is not only noisy but not good for the CPU meaning that it will not last long as-is.

I opened a support ticket on[protected] because the unit wouldn't boot up, which is a symptom of the CPU heat issue. I believe the CPU heatsink is not connected correctly so that even when not busy the CPU is hot. Now it's over 2 weeks of daily communicating with customer support, I'm not sure why there is a requirement to make demonstration videos, this has become a customer service issue - an exchange for a defective item should be easy. I actually would like to buy more of these units for my business, but that depends on this outcome. My customer ID is BG[protected]
