Bank Of Baroda — Lien amount leading to ACH charges

Hello

I am saving account holder of Bank of Baroda, Defence colony branch(New delhi).

Recently my SB account had been charged an amount of 295rs as ACH charges due to a failed auto-debit of my SIPs. Although i had transferred the requisite amount to my account, it was reflecting lesser amount later on when i checked. It was due to some amount was frozen as Lien amount. Firstly i don't know the reason of this freezing. Secondly, the thing was not intimated to me through any means. If i knew i would have maintained an extra balance. But again why should there be any freezing in my account.
