Bank Of Baroda — Non issue of pre printed Fixed Deposit Receipt

Bank of Baroda does not issue a pre printed fixed deposit receipt. Instead they give a computer printout on an A4 sheet. Since the FDs are long term and the dot matrix print fades over a period of time, and because the print is not prominent, many a times it is lost or misplaced.

All other banks that I deal with give their FD receipt in a preprinted format which looks like a certificate and their appearance is very prominent so that it is not easily misplaced.

Why is Bank of Baroda the only Bank having this practice, when all other nationalized and private banks give a preprinted certificate type FD receipt?

Whoever has made this rule of not giving a preprinted FD receipt, may be causing a loss of business to Bank of Baroda. For ex. I withdrew money from BOB and deposited it in another bank which gives a proper document for FD. Don't know why BOB is doing this when it hardly costs anything to make a preprinted certificate for FDs.
