On 25th sept, 2018 i tried to purchase some medicines for rs. 2, 788.00 (Rs. Two thousands seven hundred eighty eight) and gave
My visa debit card no. [protected] attached to my staff pension ac no. [protected] to the chemist for said payment.
However the chemist upon swiping the said card and insertion of pin by me, informed that my payment of chemist bill is not received upon swipping the card. He showed his pos machine also which displayed a message "declined".
Thinking that perhaps i didn't put correct pin i again gave the same card towards payment of rs.2788/- however this second time also the payment was told by chemist as "declined".
As i was urgently in need for medicine for my wife who was in nearby hospital i then gave to the chemist my debit card no.[protected] issued against my sb a/c no. [protected] for making payment of same rs. 2788/-. To my surprise this 3rd attemp also got failed.
After 3 failed pos transactions, and in view o[censored]rgent need for medicines i deposited cash rs. 2788/- to the chemist and got the
Medicines against cash payment.
I may add that during this period of about 15-20 minutes my mobile was not working.
However, when the mobile internet connectivity restored i saw 3 sms from boi showing that :
1. My account no, [protected] was debited for rs. 2788/-.
2. Another 2 sms also showed debit of rs.2788/- twice to my staff pension account [protected] with against debit card.
I showed the 3 smss for debiting my aforesaid acccounts 3 times for rs.2788/- to the chemist "the pharmacy" i was informed that they will be receiving the statement for the day next morning, asked me'
To come next day. However when i visited the said chemist next
Day i was shown their banker's statement and informed that they
Had not received the amount of cards swiped by them on 25-09-18.
I lodged online complaints (3 nos.), thru bank of india website on[protected] requesting reversal of rs. 2788/-plus rs. 2788/- plus rs. 2788/- (Total rs. 8, 364/- for 3 transactions). I was given 3 acknowledgement ref nos. By email dtd.[protected]same day) as:
1. Pos[protected]
2. Pos[protected]
3. Pos[protected]
On[protected]
1. My a/c no. [protected] was (Finally) credited with rs. 2788/- 2. My account no.[protected] was also credited with
Rs. 2788/- (Which was debited twice in 2 attempts) once only.
I am also surprised by the manner in which these 2 pos transactions were reversed; crediting the relative accounts first then again debeting the same and again crediting the related accounts on 01.11.2018. At the end only 2 out of 3 failed pos transactions were reversed leaving 1 pod transaction (Detailed below) which is yet to be reversed.
As such, the 3rd failed pod trasaction for rs. 2788/- in account no. [protected] as per following detrails, is still to be reversed:

It is over 70 days now after filing of online complaint, my online request for reversal of failed pos transactioh is still not reversed,
I request you to reverse the said amount of rs. 2788/- debited to said account at the earliest with appropriate interest for the delayed period.

Updated by ak kohli I am still to receive amount of RS.2788/- being reversal of remaining 1 POS TRANSACTION ( out of 3) which I have requested so many times through bank online website and consumer Complaint website.
