I have been using BOI NRE account for several years. However, I use my account once in a while to transfer my money. a month back when I sent my money from my Taiwan bank account to my BOI NRE account, I got a message saying my account was deactivated. I did not receive any precautionary email/message before this about my NRE account. W hen I needed my money for an emergency, this was stuck due tothe deactivation of my account. When I dropped a couple of emails to the branch and then NRI customer care.. they replied saying I needed to submit all my documents. I followed all their instruction as soon as I could. However even after a week of communication and submission of my documents, no update from the bank.
The Hanumanth Nagar branch in Bengaluru seems very lazy to take up any taste and now I am regretting to have an account in this Bank.
I request the team (if they get this message) to deal with my issue as soon as possible. I am worried about my amount which has been stuck for a month without getting credit. Please improve your service if possible in the future. Was this information helpful? |
