My atm card expired in january 2018. After receiving a phone call from the bank employees, i visited bank of india thakurmunda branch to receive the new atm card. But it is a matter of regret that the card was not handed over to me simply because i had not taken the passbook with me. I told them that i would immediately download an a/c statement in a nearby internet parlour and submit it to the bank after putting my signature on it. But they said that they would not accept it.
The behavior of the bank employees was very rude and because of the rude behaviour of the staff, i don't feel like visiting the branch again. Therefore, i earnestly request the concerned authorities to make arrangements for sending the atm card to my home address by regd post. My a/c may please be debited for postage.
I regret to say that when govt. Is insisting on cashless transactions, the staff of boi thakurmunda branch (Bkid0005465) of mayurbhanj district of odisha seem to be encouraging transaction in cash by unnecessarily holding up atm cards. Was this information helpful? |
