BBMP — illegal construction

There is a new construction happening on 6th main, between 14th and 15th cross road. The building that is coming up has no set back - the construction starts on the road itself. This road has heavy traffic from the 800 families in the apartments as well as the 15th cross road and surrounding. Can bbmp take immediate action to stop the illegal construction and take suitable action?
