Best Buses — BEST Bus conductors misbehaviour

Kindly do note the details of the incident below, where the bus conductor(s) misbehaved/harassed with me, a lady passenger en route Santacruz (E). Attached are the pictures of the bus, and one of the conductors for your reference. Time of incident: 10:15am Date: 23.06.15 Bus number: 313 Place of incident: near Kurla bus depot Bus number plate: MH 01 LA 5642 During the monsoons, everything is wet and one cannot expect a currency note that is clean and dry, and as good as new. I boarded an empty double-decker BEST bus from Kurla station. I gave the conductor a Rs.10 note in exchange for a ticket to Metro bus stop today. He examined the rupee note and put it inside his satchel without any questions. He moved on to the next passenger and collected their ticket, and gave my Rs.10 note as a change. The other passenger refused to accept it because it was a little damp. So the conductor comes back to me and starts screaming at the top of his voice to give him another new note. I was taken aback by shock and surprise because I was not aware of what happened and was trying to understand the situation. I do not know Marathi, and in my broken-Hindi + English, politely asked him what his problem was and why he is screaming. For which he replied in a very harassing tone and manner, that I should speak in Marathi and not in English, and it's the passengers who do all the drama, and he doesn't take these rupee notes back to his home, and it was not his problem. If damp note was a problem, he should have told me at the beginning when I was buying the ticket, but he didn't. Just because the other passenger had an issue, he vented out all the anger on me, and till the end I was very polite and respectful.One of the passenger even questioned this conductor as to why he is screaming... The two conductors (double-decker bus) teamed up against me and started blaming in Marathi.. They even threatened me that they will take me to the Police station. I was not scared, kept my cool and told them 'Chalo police station chale'. I was even ready to explain this situation to the police officer who would listen to my explanation because these conductor were miserable! By this time, the other passengers got irritated and solved the situation by exchanging notes and the conductor went to the upper deck. These kind of conductors who vent out their personal anger must be punished and be warned. They are a threat to the lady passengers and this questions the safety of BEST buses. Would please request you to take the necessary action against these two conductors. Attached is the picture of one of conductor, I didn't have the time to take a picture of the other conductor, who was the main guy screaming.
