To avail the facility of "Reduced call charges to any two BSNL numbers", I sent a text message on 14-Aug-2010 in the night, in the format "EXCELP [protected] [protected]" to 53733 from my no. [protected], in order to enjoy Re 0.20/min call rate for the nos [protected] and [protected]". No acknowledgement against the above SMS was received. Further, speaking to a Helpline executive revealed no such SMS was received at your end. This compelled me to send the same SMS quite a number of times on Sunday, 15-Aug-2010. Unfortunately, even today, on 18-Aug-2010, the service remains unactivated and the standard call rate of Re 0.49/min is charged when the above 2 numbers are called from my no.
In this matter, no cooperation from the Helpline executives was received at any point of time. Not only their attitude was harsh, they could not suggest any solution to this problem either, proving their inaptness for the position they are in. And its disgraceful the way the information provided by one executive differed from the other.
An SMS that never reaches, 4 long days pass and even then a service does not get activated, uninformed and impolite Helpline executives - these are not the things a service provider of your repute can really boast of.
It's expected the service would be activated for my number as soon as possible.
