One WLL telephone with No.[protected] has been installed at my residence.The telephone set is apparently a old and repaired equipment. The connection gives lot of trouble. Ofter the caller gets a recorded message like subscriber switched off, out of range, line busy etc. whereas it is not the fact. In spite of several complaints. the fault is not attended. Perhaps the 50% problem can be solved if the set is replaced. I prefer a lined connection as WLL is proved to be inefficient

    BSNL, ahmedabad, a custodian o[censored]nwilling and irresponsible attitude and a deliberate response to frustrate customers to benefit private players.the details mentioned here with a is a simple example,i strongly pray the authority to inquire and look into the matter to save the interest of customer as well as to curb unhealthy concerns of bsnl authorities.

    reminder............. 5th may, 2010..confirmed that your complain is registered.
    action............ 5th may,2010..stating your complain cleared.
    6th may,2010 ,i called on 1500 cust.care stating my phone is still dead but bsnl is sending message that complain has cleared. on further requesting to lodge the mistake,it is suggested to me to call on 1094.
    sir,
    earlier there was on line system to book complains,that system not working,best knowing to this department.
    now to book complain,we should dial 1500,only number for land line and broadband,at least 30 to 45 minutes exercise to get connect and no real time action to the value of customer.
    you may appreciate greatness of the dept. that since last 1 year their system is failed to generate invoice of the tel no.[protected] though it has been given in writing in personal,informed through website and many reminders on customer care numbers.

    under such circumstances ,do you feel customer should loyal to bsnl?
    is it matter of customer or responsibilities of authority to check around or a combined action of authorites?

        Iam a bsnl mobile customer coming under Chathanur exchange in Palakkad district. My problem is that Iam not getting sufficient range for the mobile phone at home in spite of the fact that the maximum aerial distance of the mobile tower and my home is hardly 1 km.It is also clarified that similar mobile towers at the same location for different providers are getting good range. Kindly examine the same and help us for getting good quality service.

          dear sir,

          iam a user of BSNL CELLULAR SERVICES, with my prepaid cell phone no. [protected]. few months back they messaged me that i subscribe for BSNL MOBILE RADIO and for that every month 4th day they are getting Rs. 19 from my prepaid balance.

          i called for assistance to customer care operator, they said it is not to there service and called the messed number for help. message came from +126300 , where it is a interactive voice response system and its functional language is kannada, there is no information for un-subscription.

          please kindly help me and save my money.

            Hi,
            I bought my EVDO card and started availing services from October 2009. The speed offered by BSNL states its up to 2.4mbps download, however, I merely get speed upto 300kbit/s (NOTE: I am currently in Pune and its a EVDO activated Zone - not a CDMA 1X zone). Whenever I ask for a clarification, they say users limit exceeded and say that they are planning for upgrade. No specific answer yet and the funniest thing is that I get full signal strength the place I live in.

            Adding another issue to it, there are not online payment option available, and hence I have to tell my mother (in Bhopal - MP) to pay the bill, and it will be better if its online. So this month I got 3 month bill as a whole and that too on last day of payment. This is not at all tolerable, we are still customer, and there are some responsibilities on Service Provider as well.

            It will be of great help so please raise on it to appropriate level.

            I am satisfied with services of evdo zte.I want to pay my bills online
            myn is windows7 and it is not working i have buyn evdo 20 days back tell solution sir please.
            N.B: proper functioning of EVDO depends on 2 criteria:

            1. Signal strength; Nearer to the Access point, the better the service ( the device is best suitable for a Laptop).
            -The radius that can be covered by a single access point (tower) is 4-5 KM.

            2. Number o[censored]sers in a particular cell; users that can be accommodated by a single Access point (Tower) ( if more number of ppl are using EVDO in a same cell, you will get weak signal).
            - this is the drawback of this technology.

            I have no idea about the payment option...(**, )

              i had a BSNL LANDLINE phone connection in this number[protected] in little kanchipuram,i have dis-connected and submitted the telephone and other materials to the office 2 years before itself ,but still my refund amount not yet settled by the BSNL.and i have registered online complaints also,but no response at all.worst customer care from BSNL.if i get my refund amount means it should be better.

                Hello, Im from Kottayam, Kerala.. from a place called Njeezhoor. Im a subscriber of BSNL's 750 unlimited plan. According to this plan, they assure a fixed speed of 256 kbps. But we never get the speed they promise. This is true for all o[censored]s in our area. Our net is too slow. This is evident when we use 256 kbps speed of other service providers. There is no speed enough even to stream a video. Actually the service used to be nice but for last 2 months we are lacking speed. Every website is slow. Please help us in taking necesary actions and help us in getting what we pay for.

                    I have BSNL Broadband Unlimited Plan for Home for Last 2 years.

                    The Broadband Connectivity at BSNL always irregular.
                    It fails when I need it the most.

                    There is no proper information provider at The complaints.

                    I have to waste almost hours to even send a simple email.

                    BSNL should declare a pro rata discount on actual available time so that we are compensated for lost time, Service and mental harrassment

                      BSNL Landline — Land line dead for 15 days

                      The complaint on Land line registered No 1025 on 19th April is still un - rectified.. The land line number is 26728706. The siteman checked for connection default at the site and per him it is fine. The issue is at the exchange .. What ever is the case, there is no point in having a dead phone always.. this is the 4th time that the phone is dead for such a long duration ...

Address this letter to your honourable office on behalf of my father Mr.K.Ellappan regarding the non functioning of the telephone bearing no 27620663 at the above said address. I have informed the local telephone exchange office at Tirur telephone exchange regarding the non functioning of the above residential telephone on 20/04/2010 no complaint number was furnished to us but one of your staff Mr.Sarangabani line man visited our residence on 23/04/2010 and did not carry out any repair but informed us that the telephone will start functioning only after the laying of cable and defect in the cable line. It is more than 10 days he had examined our telephone and nothing has happened so for. Since some of my inmates at my residence are senior citizens requiring medical assistance at any time, we feel highly handicapped owing to dyfunctioning of the instrument. I therefore request you to kindly instruct your office to restore the functioning of the instrument for which act. I shall remain much obliged.

                            I surrender my mobile phone number [protected] on 30.09.2008 and depostid my SIM card no.[protected] to CCN clerk at BSNL office Beltola , Dispur - 6 alongwith application form. I was issued a reciept accordingly. As I was transferred to Delhi, I mentioned my residential address of Faridabad to send the money to this address. I paid the last bill recd. for Rs. 871.00 only vide recpt. no. (not legible) dated 14.09.2008. But till date I have not recieved refund of my security deposited at the time of taking mobile connection from BSNL.                               i have taken a bsnl landline phone connections in 2006, and i have deposited an amount of rs 500. and after that every month they have charge RS. 186 for 6 month. and RS 20 as insurance for 24 month. when i ask then about that charges at that time they told they are charging to make my deposit RS 2000. so i paid it. but now i have cancelled my phone connections because out of 30 day 15 days it remains out of order. after complaing 4-5 times they are not coming and the bill comes every month. that is why i cancelled it. but they are now refunding me an amount of RS 876 only. when i asked him where did u charge rest of amount. then they are not giving me a reasonable answer to me

                              I have cancelled my land line on 12th May 2009 because of non attending the compliants. There are several compliants but nothing has been taken by the department inspite of personal complaints. Since I am fed up the service i finally decided to cancel my land line. I am still awaiting my deposit along with the bank interest.

                              Earlier I took bsnl broadband which another item to cheat the public. I am staying in marthahalli, Bangalore.37. not even two months old, but every day the net work is bad or not working. When I compalint to several stages, no response, but I was promptly paying the bill, finally I decided to cancell the broad band. at that time, the technical personal says ./... sir, . in marthahalli, the signal is very bad. I asked him if the signal is bad, why did you connect the broad band net and i was paying the money. Now let us decide who at the fault. Don't you feel the dept. the way the work./ The dept staff will get the salary, customer is the sufferer.
                              Dear Sir,
                              I have a land line phone since 12 years. My phone number is[protected]. I have taken internet broad band service in 2008 April ending. In the month of March 2009 my modem was fault.The J.E. sir came to my home and verified. He found it was fault. He advised me to shift F2 type modem from F1 with additional cost of Rs.500/-, then no modem rent will be raised. I agreed. He replaced F2 type modem. He had taken Type1 modem from me. After that I have paid Rs.250/- towards installation charges. Next month modem rent Rs.80/- was billed. I paid the bill and gave a complaint both in piduguralla and guntur office. They told me that they could solve the problem. I approached many times. But they didn't do. They violeted the rule proceedure. Again now also bill was raised with a burden of modem rent Rs.80 and ACDMOS Rs.500. I am a small accountant. How i can pay all these unnecessary. I request you, please rectify the mistake of piduguralla bsnl office staff and delete the modem rent and acdmos amounts. If not possible, please provide my type1 modem which was in piduguralla bsnl office and return my additional deposit of Rs.500/-.

                                Sir,
                                I have a Broadband service connected through my Land line No.[protected]under Bolpur Telephone Exchange). The connection has been existing since 10.03.2008 through overhead poles. I took the said connection mainly for my daughter's (a student of Class IX this year) education purpose. Initially for a few months, the service was, indeed, splendid. But unfortunately, I am now topping, as I guess, the list of complainants in respect of the said connection. Problems that I am facing very frequently now-a-days are given below:
                                1. I do not get uninterrupted service. Whenever I do not get the service, I contact the customer care service officers (having telephone no.[protected]. After hearing my problem, the receiver of the telephone normally does not incline to register my complaint provided it is not an ADSL problem (ADSL is not glowing and/or blinking etc) and instead, ask me to contact either of the two telephone numbers viz,[protected] and/or[protected]. But, unfortunately, I get[protected] or[protected] accidentally, else they go on ringing. Complaints are, however, registered at[protected] only when I categorically request him to give me a docket number as to the registering of my complaints;
                                2. I have been given to understand that the officers holding the numbers viz,[protected] and/or[protected] are the only persons who can have the authority and/or power to rectify the problem provided, fortunately or unfortunately, these officers are in office or not exclusively busy in some other jobs. After office hours, these officers are not available and consequently there leaves no question of getting any help. An example, in the matter, is given herewith – Yesterday (01.05.2010) was Saturday and closed holiday. My daughter has been peacefully working in the net upto (about) 02.40 PM. After giving a break of about two hours or so when she intended to connect the net, she was, time and again, getting a message on the screen which reads as – “Error 691 : Access was denied because the user name and/or Password was invalid on the domain” although neither the user name nor the password were even touched by her. Being fade up, she sought for my intervention. I then took the matter with the officer holding telephone no. 252001. The officer – really holding helping attitude – patiently heard my problem but unfortunately he repeated ( as I was to hear several times in earlier cases) that as the office was closed for two days [01.05.2010 holiday and 02.05.2010 Sunday] nothing could be done so long the officers holding the telephone numbers[protected] and/or[protected] are resuming their duties on Monday next. He then suggested me go to the telephone exchange office at Bolpur on Monday (03.05.2010) to meet the officers at telephone nos.[protected] and/or[protected]. He, however, on request by me recorded my complaint vide No. A/28 of 01.05.2010 (at about 04.55 PM). Further, from the Telephone Directory I find that the above nos.[protected] and/or[protected] pertain to Switch Room. So from the above it stands that Switch Rooms remain unmanned beyond office hours and during holidays and Sundays; and unmanned Switch Room means interrupted service (?) having no rescue. But peculiarly enough I have got the connection at night (at about 9.40 PM of 01.05.2010) when also I did not touch my user name and password. Besides, sometimes a message comes as –“Error 678: The remote computer did not respond….” when all of my fittings are intact. The Broad Band service is on even at this time (about 3.25 PM of 02.05.2010 - Sunday) and hence, I could be able to place this mail before you. Besides, at times, the speed is so slow that working in the net becomes simply tiresome.
                                3. As advised by the officers of the Bolpur Exchange over phone, I have even changed my Modem a few days back. But the problems persist.
                                Sir, in view of the foregoing, may I request your goodself to kindly clarify the following points:
                                a) how I can get an uninterrupted service;
                                b) why I will not be financially compensated for non-availability o[censored]ninterrupted service;
                                c) whether I made any mistake in choosing BSNL as service provider;
                                d) whether there is a lackadaisical approach on the part of the BSNL, in the face of a strong challenge from the other private sector companies providing broadband services; and
                                e) Whether I can still trust the responsibility and responsiveness of BSNL.
