This complaint is regarding the BSNL FTTH broadband connection i
took for the below address.I have been using BSNL portal for paying
monthly bills online whereas at a certain point the portal has been
upgraded and the IP is changed for the portal.I started using the
new portal for paying bills where i could find the entire bill
history.As the bills are archived in portal i didnot save bills
personally.After few months again the portal stopped working and
when i approached the customer care they took two months to give
me a solution.Finally one day they told i cant pay online anymore
and i have to walk to BSNL office to pay bills.As the service was poor
i decided to surrender the connection so i went to office where i was
told to pay 6000 to surrender the connection.When i asked the
reason they told i have this due hence to close the connection i
need to pay the amount.I requested them to provide me bills which i
have not paid but i didnot get any response.The connection also
stopped working hence i assumed they disconnected as i did not
actually pay two months bill.
Recently i got a mail for bill payment which is 22, 000+ for which
there is no history.I could not refer my paid bills also as the portal is
not working anymore.BSNL officials came in person to discuss on
this and i have explained them the entrie story.They handed me a
bill which is 14, 000+ and they said they have done some
adjustments.They told me to report in their office but i demanded
them for the technical data of internet usage.I again got a call and
they said as per technical records it is 10, 000+ for which no proof
was shown/sent to me.Yesterday i got a call from accounts officer
saying that if i dont report in office by today this case will be
handled legally.
With no proper proof from their end and no proof (due to
inexistence of portal) from my end to show this is going high.
Attaching the required conversations and bills for further
investigation.
