Hi All,

This is muthu from gummidipoondi. I am a web designer working in chennai. I would like to have the net connection at my home so i have applied in Gummidipoonid BSNL exchange before 3 months still now i didn't get any response from them. I don't know they are working or not i have asked so many time to AE and so many people of there.

hi a bsnsl linemans and other is very worst is working in only beta from colecting peoples i thing linemans dont got a salary from goverment. its very shame of a country
in a month it works for only 10 days all the time its under repair but billing system is working exactly. they are not bothered wether system is working landline always dead or else to noisy even after repeated complaints. similarly with broad band connection I they are bothered of their salary not their work.
for top up update the amount but the activation not possible . this is the BSNL services. no response to the customer's complaints. if we approach why to use BSNL go for other connections this is response of their own employees.

    Hi All,

    This is muthu from gummidi poondi it is near to chennai. I have applied broadband internet connection in gummidi poondi exchanged before there month. I have asked so many times but there is no response from them. They are telling me there is not stock of modem some line problem etc., if i complain any telephone line problem means they wont care about this. because there is no person for asking question.

    This is Prabhakaran,ther's lot of problems regarding BSNL services,our telephone was out of order for about one week,telephone charges are coming more without use also and so on...They are not at all rectifying the issues and responding,,,

      My Land phone 28475317 is dead for the last 4 days. I am in infinite loop calling one after another. But no progress so far. I stay in Brokefield, AECS Layout.

      My BSNL phone is working but i don't know why it's all outgoing calls has been blocked? The costumer care is not responding.
      And my bill (printed hardcopy) never reach at my home on time, sometimes i didn't got this bill copy. so tell me please what can I do for this.
      Is this wright ? they had block my outgoing calls without intimation. The BSNL guys never call for bill.
      Please give me solution for this problem. As soon as possible.

        My Telephone no[protected] has been almost completely dead since 1st MAY 2009. It works only once in fortnight and that too is hardly only 5 to 10 minutes. I have not getting any response from local BSNL officials. On making an independent inquiry it has come to my knowledge that other private company has utilize connection and in spite of our written complaints we have not got any response. However we get Telephone BIll regularly and there is no delay for it.

          I had a phone connection after that I had taken internet connection. for two months everthing was ok but once the internet and phone stopped working I raised the complianit and on request they repaired the land line and told that some other person will come and repair the internet.Since that day I havent met the other person's and internet never worked after that although the bill kept comming(no problem there ?)inetresting.keep it up BSNL . After four months I cleared all the amount and cancelled the internet connection.Phone service is Best but when it comes to internet and customer service BSNL does not stand anywhere .Probably no body looses his job for not doing the his duty.BSNL is trying to bring the latest of cutting edge technology and server etc but does not do the back operation properly. I think they can give the support operatioon to some third party guys and still make huge profits. Does it make any difference to h these guys ? Any one hearing ...

          I have got a Bsnl land line connection in the year 2008 and whenever my broad band in problem/trouble after giving frequent complanints also they are not attending. Simply from their Indira nagar office they are calling to my home and asking whether phone is working or not? i dont know whether they've understand the problem clearly ie, broad band problem or not. Now i'm planning to give complaint to the superiors and planning to disconnect my number 2529 3202 and to shift to other service providers.
          If the BSNL personnels still sleep like this then they can not survive in this field.
          Dear Sir,

          My telephone no. is[protected] with broadbank connection was working at Hno.24, Vishwa Karma Krupa, Veeranagouda Colony, Bellary. On 13/10/2009, I applied for shifting of telephone to Plot No. 189, Deva Reddy House, Opp Garden, Sanjaya Gandhi Nagar, Bellary.

          Till this date shifting has not taken place. On enquiry BSNL officials informing there is cable problem. Already three months over still the cable problem not solved. I have paid upto October 2009 telephone bill.

          Kindly look into the matter and help me in getting telephone No.[protected] with broadband connection shifted to my new address at the earliest.

            My broadband connection is down for the last 10 days. Despite several complaint on customer care jalahalli branch, no one has turned up for restoring connectivity. I am assured daily but no one has come so far. I am fed up. In my area some people told me that if I give bribe to the linemen then my telephone and broadband will be working.

            My Broadband connection (DataOne) is never been activated from year 2006 but is charged every month, after continuous follow up & mails to authorities the rental paid is been reimbursed from the regular bill from may, 2008 and still the connection is not provided. The LAN line is down from last 2 months, in between up for half -an-hour or less than that. no response from the authorities even after complaining. Does BSNL have any SLA set for customer service? why shld customer pay the monthly rental when the lines are down from the BSNL itself or due to any infrastructural change at BSNL exchange?               Hi

              I am residing at Rammurthy Nagar Bangalore.
              For past 3 weeks the broad band connection is not working.
              Already we tried giving complaint to BSNL Rammurthy nagar branch but all in vain.
              Yesterday we got the telephone bill and the complete broad band charge is levied.

              Why should we pay when the service is not provided?
              At least there should be some discounts when the service is not provided.

              BSNL in pethatic to say the least, my broadband connection is down since 15 days, no action have been taken, their technical staff is so poor that they dont understand whats the prob. is, and how to solve it. customer care is also as bad.
              why r they providing service when they cant back it my with gud support...
              MY Advice will b NOT to go with BSNL, cause once its down...u have no one to support n solve the matter...

              Hi,

              I am totally shocked and fade up with BSNL Broadband Service as for last 6 months or more I couldn’t consume a single bit of data through BSNL Broadband. I visited personally to Area Manager of BSNL at Satyabala, Howrah, West Bengal but only a few days service was provided to me after that visit. One more thing, that, no technically skilled person is engaged in our local exchange for resolving the connection problem except providing an assurance to the customers for an indefinite period. This is my good luck that I am equipped with another Reliance Broadband Connection and it works exceptionally trouble free and till now I am managing all of my jobs only through it. I don’t know whether in near future BSNL will be able to achieve the up to the mark benchmark like Reliance or other ISPs or simply continue the habit of fetching money from subscribers without providing desired service.

                  10 days before the BSNL authority came with Modem for installation. DUe to system problem, they are not able to attend the same. But for the past two days, we are trying to contact them through phone. They simply said, just connect it and get the line. But we are not able to get it activate. Who will take this responsibility in Govt. sector organization. Pl. help us for speedy service.

                  Is it possible to take the modem back, since we are not using a minute or not yet activate. Regret for the poor service by BSNL, Madurai.

                    Sir,

                    1. I have used the basic telephone No[protected] on my name at my residence from Dehu Road Exchange from 30 Dec 2002 :-
                    (a) Customer Account No - [protected] dated 10 Dec 2002.
                    (b) Residential Address - T-50/2 Garden City , Dehu Road, Pune.
                    2. I have paid a total of Rs 3000/- as security deposit/advance rental for the telephone. Rs 800/- as Registration amount ( Bahirwade Chambers Receipt No 216451 dated 10 Dec 2002) and Rs 2200/- as Additional advance rental deposits (Tele bill No [protected] dated 18 Feb 2003, Dehu Road Cant Post Office Receipt No 8440 dated 05 Mar 2003.)
                    3. Last Tele Bill No [protected] dated 18 Apr 2005 for Rs. 1513/-, up to meter reading 10514 as on 31 Mar 05 was paid vide Dehu Road Cant Post Office Receipt No 9813 dated 29 Apr 2005.
                    4. As I was transferred from Pune to Kota (Rajasthan), I applied for surrender of my telephone connection. I gave my new address in my application. As I was using my own telephone instrument, I obtained a certificate from Mr RR Kattimani, SDE Phones, Dehu Road Sub Division and got the meter reading endorsed as 11963 as on 19 May 2005.
                    5. I approached the office of the AO TRA, BSNL, Chandra Bhavan, Kharalwadi, Pune -18 for refund of security deposit/advance rental. I was told that the refund will be sent to me by post on my new address. Since than, I have written a number of times but no refund has been received.
                    6. The final Bill for the period from 01 Apr 05 to 19 May 05, which as per my calculation is likely to be Rs 1948/- be deducted from my out standing security deposit/advance rental of Rs 3000/- and the balance amount of Rs 1488/- (Rs 1152/- + Rs 336/- as interest calculated annually at the rate of 12% p a) be paid to me at the earliestat the following address:-

                      Dear Sir,

                      I am a subscriber of BSNL Kolkata Telephone. My phone number is 2460 1473.


                      Since the last 12 days my phone is dead. I have registered a complaint on 1st October 2007 (Docket No: C-4033). I was told it would be functional from October 3rd 2007, since October 2nd was a public holiday. On 5th October,when the phone was still
                      not functional I again registered a complaint (Docket No: C-6218). I was told that there was a strike going on and only when
                      it was over would any action be taken. On 9th October I again filed a complaint (Docket No: C-8107). I was told that the
                      internal phone wiring in my house was defective, and I had to get it rectified by calling an electrician.

                      From 1st October to 9th October nobody from BSNL Kolkata visited my house to check the wiring. How do they know it is defective, sitting in the confines of their office?

                      Today, at 13.30hrs two people from BSNL Kolkata, came to my house. One of them entered and straightaway told me that the internal wiring had to be changed and demanded Rs.400. I asked how he arrived at the sum of Rs.400 without even checking the
                      wiring. He simply said he knew the wiring had to be changed. I then told him that I wanted a receipt for Rs.400. He told me that he would not give me one as it was unofficial work. I then asked them to leave.

                      I urge you to use your good offices to have my line working again. This is nothing but harassment from BSNL Kolkata employees to stall work and extract the maximum money, since Puja is around the corner. What is the use of paying monthly rental if 20 days in a month my phone is not working?

No proactive action has been taken against lodging of repeated complains (like.. U8485 dated 12/5/09, U4301, D764 dated 11/7/09 etc) from my end.
                      Presently, the condition is even become worst, since last 20 days my phone line is dead. After many complains lodged through online, on 18/7/09 I heard from our housing care taker that the 'famous' bsnl lines man visited our housing complex but left without informing anything to me. Since then, four days have been passed but no action or intimation received from bsnl side.
                      Now, in spite of paying monthly telephone bill (min. Rs. 640/-), I'm really hopeless to reactivate my phone line and also establishment of BB connection.
                      In this scenario, shall I surrender the phone? Please suggest.

                      The telephone was noisy since one month and lodged a complaint about 15 days back.After about 4days I got a ring from some lineman who inquired about the nature of fault and the same was communicated.But no action was taken to rectify the fault. Now since last two days the telephone is 'Dead'. When I tried to resister the fault it was stated that fault is already registered and the complaint No is R6439.                       Mr. Sandip Bhattacharya received phone I complain that why my broadband line is getting disconnect frequently to that he replied "Sudhu Sudhu Apnar ii Keno Kharab hoy " agressivly thenafter I went telephone office at chittrranjan were MR Sandip Bhattacharya and Debashish office when I complain get checked my modem UTR 300 from them find ok after that I ask Mr. Sandip Bhattacharya that sir was is a official comment from Mr. Debashish "Sudhu Sudhu Apnarii Keno Kharab hoy " do I make fault intentionally to my broadband line so that my works get harassed ?

                      But still problem is their same.

                          Res Sir, i am a software engg. & other of my work running a cyber cafe in yavatmal town, last some days i have face a disconnected problem in brodband, some time DSL light is on/off or if DSL is stedy the Internet connection is vary slow. If want to to open a google page (17 kb) its take 7 to 8 minute. I am always complaint in a yavatmal office but given teletephone no is not give me a answer because of a man power, if youe technision is meet then he give me a regular advise & i will tell some advise u just tell me it is wrong or right
                          1) Microtek Inverter is create a Problem you can change it
                          2) Your Electric supply is not equal to 230 volt
                          3) Your modem is vary hot so u can put A/c or any cooling system in your office
                          4) I have purchase a P4 pc last Nov. and he tell me your computer is too old?


                          So what can i Do? i have run only 5 PC with 3300 UN plan and my 5 pc is not run at a time so give me a suggestion what can i do?

                            although i have one-way connection of my landline connection alongwith bsnl's dataone,still i have got a bill of RS 1071.i should have got the bill of somewhat RS 850 according to the charges of the company as RS 160 for one-way connection and RS 250 of dataone for one month,so it should be around RS 850 for 2 months.plz check what d problem is with it.

                              With due respect, I beg to inform you that having willing to get a broadband internet connection, I deposited an amount of Rs.500/- for a landline connection on 13/04/09 (receipt no [protected] dated: 14/04/09 ) accordingly an order is also issued to connect the telephone.

                              Painfully, I would like to inform you that for unknown reasons, in spite of repeated request, the O/o the S.D.O phones at Ambari, Ghy is failed to give me the service till date. I have visited the office more than eight days and requested the authority concerned, but in vain. Neither they give me the service nor do they inform the reason behind. Then I went to the Area Manager at Panbazar and requested him to look into the matter but no positive achievement is surfaced till today.

                              Being fed up of the irresponsible approach and behavior of the concerned offices, I am compelled to arrive at the decision to withdraw my appeal for landline connection and want to get back the money deposited for landline.

                              Now, I would like to request your honour to look into the matter and do the needful for refund of Rs.500 deposited for landline.

                              I am having two Bsnl land line at my house. My number is[protected] and another line was linked with this second number[protected] at the address 4050 block k Sainik colony Sec 49, Faridabad. I have discontinued the services my first number was cut but the second one is still billed by bsnl.I have visited the concerned office for discontinuation of the second number .The officer said that since we are not using the bsnl number it won't be billed.But i am surprised to see that I am getting bill of the number till this date . They have not refunded the security amount and when I wanted to submit the instrument they declined to accept it.And money from my security was charged for the instrument . kindly discount the service of[protected] and refund the security amount as soon as possible.

                              I have paid the bill today as well date 27th July 2016.
                              While I went to the BSNL office which is almost 10 KM from my home ; they said that you need to put signature of the JTO in your area.
                              I again went to the JTO office which was around 8 KM from my house . That time the JTO was not there in office.
                              I again came back to the JTO office and also this time JTO went for lunch.
                              After doing google I find that I can do it online - http://selfcare.edc.bsnl.co.in/ - I tried to do that - from past 7 days it is not allowing me to log in saying that "Verification process is in progress" neither it is allowing me create a new user id - Saying that the account no is in use- I called to the customer care more than 10 times
                              Every time in between they disconnect the call from customer care team - One customer care told that he will talk to the senior and reset it with in 24 hours - 3 days has been past

                                It is with great displeasure I am writing this to inform you that no effective solution has been given by your department on the malfunction, reported through the fault reporting system operational ( dialing 25292198 for the telephone number cited above ), of my telephone land line mentioned above.

                                The malfunction has caused my communication and internet connection, also through BSNL line, not available all these days.

                                It is also brought to your attention that the internet services are erratic since being provided from your department and it has been observed that the internet connection is not available especially on Saturdays and Sundays in the past.

                                All dues to the department has promptly been paid in time for the above as per the bills sent to me irrespective of the above.

                                I believe that an ISO 9001:2000 certified organization cannot treat a customer complaint with so much delay.

                                Any thing to be done from my side may please be communicated in writing or through SMS to [protected].

                                Also I request you to recommend pro rata reduction in charges applicable to the non working connections.

                                If this fault can not be set right and lines restored from your end kindly advise me all the proper actions to be followed and obeyed by me to remove from service / disconnect both the landline connection and internet connection.

                                Have had similar experiences with BSNL, Bangalore. In case of faults with landline/broadband, it is only after repeated, desperate attempts that they respond. If the customer service continues to be so poor, I have the slightest doubt that customers would start switching to other providers, given the large number of private players with better offers and more importantly, better customer service. It is high time this indifferent attitude is addressed.
                                MY LANDLINE[protected] IS OUT OF ORDER SINCE 20TH MAY AND COMPLAINTS WERE LODGED THRO TELE COMPLAIN NO.23372198 MORE THAN 5 TIMES, BUT OF NO AVAIL.                                   I am a working woman staying in Kolkata (Salt Lake) and 1month ago I had applied for the Data One Broadband Connection. The concerned people said that within 3-4 days I will get the User ID and The pass word, but its a month now one one bothers to pick up the phone.                                   bsnl advertises that there 500c broadband plan provides unlimited night usage between
                                  02:00am to 08:00 am but many of there servers are not set to follow these rules

                                  This is exactly what is happening to most of the customers. The problem is not hust in some places, but in all places, which clearly shows that, the BSNL broadband server is configured wrongly.

                                  I am having the same problem. I have concrete evidence, with the usage summary reports, which show sessions of connections spanning beyond 2:00 AM. Can anybody please suggest, if I can go ahead with filing the compliant?

                                  This is the case to most of my friends too who end up paying their boradband bills in thousands. if they do this all over India, how much of extra bills should they be getting every month? is this not a menace? and most o[censored]s go only for BSNL broadband for its excellent speed!

                                  No doubt its speed is good. But once any problem occurs, these people are not ready to help.

                                  I stay at Kestopur, My Broad band doesn't work sometime (this happens and I am not complaining for this). When I try to launch complain at the number [protected], they do not react positively. The problems I face

                                  1) They either keep me on hold for more than 10 mints.
                                  2) They take action only if I call them 5 to 6 times for consecutive 4 to5 days.
                                  3) They say they are very busy to come to my residence to check the issue.
                                  4) The problem gets resolved only after 15 days (at least)
                                  5) They ask to come to their office at dum dum with modem.

                                    AT EVENING I CANT MAKE CALLS..RECIEV E CALLS...OR MESSEGES...
                                    THIS IS REALLY DISGUSTING...
                                    PLEASE SOLVE THE PROBLEM

                                    BSNL mobile - Cellone — Network problem

                                    I'm using BSNL mobile connection from Himachal Pradhesh since last 4 months and whenever I'm on tour outside of the state, the mobile was working fine. Now today 07.01.2009 when I'm in Mumbai, I didn't get network. For the same I called up BSNL customer care and talked with them. Reply is other part but advising me and tell me that speak slowly and not loudly. Showing me manners but not resolving the matter. I told him very clearly I'm filing the complaint in consumer forum against the company. I hope I'll get the justice from this fourm at least and perish BSNL not for rupee but on moral basis and ask them to withdraw their slogan of No. 1 Telecom company in India. Do it or close this forum as it will be only Mirage for customer like us who are paying for services and not for harrasement.

                                    Action must be within official hours by tomorrow.

                                    Hope this will be done or go to hell with this forum.

                                    we have four Cellone connections in my house. but not getting signal. so please solve the problem. our address is

                                    It all started when I changed my number from Airtel to Bsnl, since most of my relatives are using Bsnl.I am also facing network problems, when it rains the problem worsens.I a single month alone nearly 50 to 60 calls got cut in between because of tower problem.I called Bsnl people and complained to them for 3 times in that month but they took no action.In Airtel(my earlier network)I faced the same problem but they solved it in a week.I am a average mobile user I use around 300mins of outgoing calls a month and stay at a main place in Coimbatore.If they dont care abt my complaint then I dont know what kind of service they provide for persons who live at remote areas and use their mobile for incoming purposes alone.I have also seen some slowness in messages getting delivered or calls getting connected in Bsnl(when compared to Airtel) I think they use primitive technology when compared to Airtel.

                                    I am the customer of Cellone(BSNL) since 2008.I am facing problem of Network in Main cities Like Vizag and Hyderabad also.Signal is very low and suddenly it drops to 0 level . It the climate becomes cloudy the problem of signal dropping get started.I am postgraduate looking for job in software industry I am getting interviews through mobile also. At my beginning I promote this Network to all my friends due to low cost.Still I am facing problem.I gave complaint to customer care also they suggested me to send a message like SIGNAL to 54141.It is also done.One of the customer care person told me select the network selection in manual and then select cellone. It also happened.But no use.Finally I decided to make a move from this Network and Go for Vadafone or Airtel.I Pray If possible you people please solve the problem for the remaining customers too. Don't loose them

                                    i am bsnl customer with no as [protected].my no is always busy.if someone is calling to me it is always saying that all lines are busy.if i call it is not connecting .please help me.once in a week my phone works.remaning days it is not working please solve my problem

                                    we are all the people of dubakan village are facing network pro since tow months .Becoz there is a Bsnl tower n our village but is is not working please check it ...too many time i have called to to our sdo of jajpur mr khuntia but he is not ans our call ... there are more thar 500 hundred cust in our village of cellone so i req to you to be kind enough and give us proper network we shall be great remain for ever plz repair this tower

                                    In Middle of the Hyderabad city, IN microsoft campus also BSNL signal is not coming.Missing all the important calls because of this.HATS OFF TO BSNL FOR SUCH A SERVICE.
                                    No wonder I will be shifting to some other network
                                    I am bsnl customer from varnasi.. when I do std cal to bsnl customer Hyderabad there is a continuous disturbance in the call the noise is annoying while on the cal from past one week this noise problem in the background of cal is troubling me please solve this problem
                                    Iam Nrusingnath patra(Sisir) Durgi, dist-Rayagada, odisha my village & my local aria about ten thousnds peple depend on BSNL network, But service is zero, then optical cable cut in the way, so after 7/10 day go to jaint, local Sdo, Etr group are no lisening, our village compaint avoid the bsnl officer, our problem ever day every month, our problem is of to 17.5.14 . ago two year ago. plese kindly sir solve the problem
