I am a subscriber of BSNL Kolkata Telephone. My phone number is 2557 2081.

Since the last 15 days my phone is making noise and difficult to communicate due to high noise. I have registered complaint several times but every time there was phone call from telephone office regarding defects but no solution but my complaint deleted from the list even though the defect is existing. suprise to know that docket numbegetting cancelled without doing any work / solving the defect.
I shall be thankful if kindly look into the mater and get my aforesaid landline defect repaired.At this moment communication with the line is quite imposible.

From 01/06/09 till date I tried to contact at kasba exchange through phone 24412025. but callous & corrupted workers do not bother to receive the ringing phone round the clock. This sort of mismanagement is running frequently since 2004. Many consumers are forced to surrender land phone because of wilful negligence of bsnl workers. What do u suggest for me?

Most of the times internet is not connected though the signal is shown full. GPRS icon is shown connected not connected to the internet. The speed is very slow. My connectivity is through post paid mobile with GPRS activated. My mobile number is [protected]. Suggestion is solicited.

My telephone (no.[protected], plan: BB FIXED CHARGES) was installed on[protected] but the BB connection with the PC was not established yet. No proactive action has been taken against lodging of repeated complains (like.. U8485 dated 12/5/09, U4301, D764 dated 11/7/09 etc) from my end.
Presently, the condition is even become worst, since last 20 days my phone line is dead. After many complains lodged through online, on 18/7/09 I heard from our housing care taker that the 'famous' bsnl lines man visited our housing complex but left without informing anything to me. Since then, four days have been passed but no action or intimation received from bsnl side.
Now, in spite of paying monthly telephone bill (min. Rs. 640/-), I'm really hopeless to reactivate my phone line and also establishment of BB connection.
In this scenario, shall I surrender the phone? Please suggest.

Authority (BSNL Kolkata), i took a Datacard (3G ) for internet usage purpose on 30/05/2009 and paid Rs.1000. But due to unavailability of Signals in my neighborhood I was unable to use the Datacard and contacted the BSNL operators.But the problem persisted and at last the BSNL operator told me to surrender the Datacard.So i surrendered it on 30/06/2009.And i just now got Rs.370 back.So on what basis I haven't got my Rs.1000 back.Why should you deducted Rs.630 from my security deposit as I unable d to use it at all? Please return me back my Whole Security deposit.
Can you please look in to this issue.Eagerly waiting for your reply.

We have been a customer for BSNL for last 12 years. Everything had been running okay till 2008. The problems started once I went for broadband. The broadband connection is an integral part of my profession. But very frequently I use to get stuck out of its poor and irregular services. The worst problem is, BSNL never provides room to rectify customers' inconvenience. So many times it has happened, I could not receive your hardcopy bills in time and unable to pay bill amount, as a result the connection got off. Always I have tried to get a convenient way (online or other modes) for payment but in vain. I am fade up and frustrated. Right now, despite making payment in time, my broadband has not been working for last 10 days. Please suggest me the way out. I am sincerely trying to avail 500C bradband scheme, but cooperation from your end has not been available.

Necessary action is highly solicited.

198 is not registering the complain.
The Numbers of concerned DE(internal) and DE( extnl) are false numbers.

The Number of SDE will not be attended by any body even at 1100 hrs.
For last seven days both my laznd line and BB not functioning and I dont find

I have registered a complaint on 22nd March 2010 (Docket No: U-3036)befour 4 month.ago BSNLauthority was replaceed my set with old one they told us new receiver are nol available it would be function ok from next month it would given same problem.since
today phone was not properly functional.
I want e-mail id of any person of Jadavpur Exchanje who is given us relife from this trouble, with proper action to be taken.and written feed-back to my e-mail.
Also infrom you that meter reading(1962) is not available in my phone.

my telephone no is 24285525. My address is c 204 victoria greens 385 garia main road kol 84.my telephone set is defefctive making it impossible to converse. My broadband connection does not work a minute without interruption. Repeated complains to 1504, 198 and local exchange has no response.

The telephone was noisy since one month and lodged a complaint about 15 days back.After about 4days I got a ring from some lineman who inquired about the nature of fault and the same was communicated.But no action was taken to rectify the fault. Now since last two days the telephone is 'Dead'. When I tried to resister the fault it was stated that fault is already registered and the complaint No is R6439. Since I cannot contact any officicial telephonically I am putting this complaint with ahope that the fault would rectified within a reasonable time say 2 to 3 days or I am expecting too much from our BSNL!!

This appears to be a new introduction by which there remains no accountability of when the complaint is lodged ( if at all registered ) and when the line will be restored.

Mr. Sandip Bhattacharya received phone I complain that why my broadband line is getting disconnect frequently to that he replied "Sudhu Sudhu Apnar ii Keno Kharab hoy " agressivly thenafter I went telephone office at chittrranjan were MR Sandip Bhattacharya and Debashish office when I complain get checked my modem UTR 300 from them find ok after that I ask Mr. Sandip Bhattacharya that sir was is a official comment from Mr. Debashish "Sudhu Sudhu Apnarii Keno Kharab hoy " do I make fault intentionally to my broadband line so that my works get harassed ?
To that Mr. Sandip Bhattacharya dint answer mean while Mr. Debashish aggressively said "Besh Korechi " then after Mr. Sandip silently dint said anything SIR IS THIS BEHAVIOR A PUBLIC OFFICE GIVES TO A PUBLIC .
then for some time Broadband line get ok again 2- 3 days later same problem frequent Disconnection then again I call to 22692211 for verbal complaint to Mr. Sandip Bhattacharya unfortunately the phone was received by Mr. Debashish when I said again same arrogant reply "key Bolche" after Saying my name and number he arrogantly answer MR Sandip is not their when I will come you Call that time " Sir am I a public servant or they are " hence after 1 hour I call and complaint to Mr. Sandip Bhattacharya about the Broadband he then said kindly change Your modem after that I send request to Commercial officer for new modem on rent I was provided a new modem .
But still problem is their same.
IN 12 Month their 13 time OFC Break Down You Can check to that They Reply What can We do
And after repair of OFC again I getting the same problem of frequent Disconnection

Res Sir, i am a software engg. & other of my work running a cyber cafe in yavatmal town, last some days i have face a disconnected problem in brodband, some time DSL light is on/off or if DSL is stedy the Internet connection is vary slow. If want to to open a google page (17 kb) its take 7 to 8 minute. I am always complaint in a yavatmal office but given teletephone no is not give me a answer because of a man power, if youe technision is meet then he give me a regular advise & i will tell some advise u just tell me it is wrong or right
1) Microtek Inverter is create a Problem you can change it
2) Your Electric supply is not equal to 230 volt
3) Your modem is vary hot so u can put A/c or any cooling system in your office
4) I have purchase a P4 pc last Nov. and he tell me your computer is too old?

With due respect, I beg to inform you that having willing to get a broadband internet connection, I deposited an amount of Rs.500/- for a landline connection on 13/04/09 (receipt no [protected] dated: 14/04/09 ) accordingly an order is also issued to connect the telephone.

Painfully, I would like to inform you that for unknown reasons, in spite of repeated request, the O/o the S.D.O phones at Ambari, Ghy is failed to give me the service till date. I have visited the office more than eight days and requested the authority concerned, but in vain. Neither they give me the service nor do they inform the reason behind. Then I went to the Area Manager at Panbazar and requested him to look into the matter but no positive achievement is surfaced till today.

Being fed up of the irresponsible approach and behavior of the concerned offices, I am compelled to arrive at the decision to withdraw my appeal for landline connection and want to get back the money deposited for landline.

Now, I would like to request your honour to look into the matter and do the needful for refund of Rs.500 deposited for landline.

चूंकि यह फोन मेरे पहले भी काम मे नहीं आ रहा था और अब भी किसी काम नहीं आ रहा है, अत: आपसे फिर अनुरोध है कि इस फोन कनैक्शन को बिना किसी भुगतान के तकाजे के बंद कर दिया जाए क्योंकि मैंने पहले भी आपके कार्यालय में सूचना दी थी, जिस पर कोई कार्यवाही नहीं की जाकर फिर से बिल भेजकर मुझे प्रताड़ित किया जा रहा है, जो कि गलत है ।

I have paid the bill today as well date 27th July 2016.
While I went to the BSNL office which is almost 10 KM from my home ; they said that you need to put signature of the JTO in your area.
I again went to the JTO office which was around 8 KM from my house . That time the JTO was not there in office.

Every time in between they disconnect the call from customer care team - One customer care told that he will talk to the senior and reset it with in 24 hours - 3 days has been past

It is with great disappointment I am writing this to inform the management of BSNL, that no effective solution has been given by your department on the malfunction, reported through the fault reporting system for the last 5 weeks ( dialing 25292198 for the telephone number cited above & telecon complaints to Area Manager's office, Divisional Engineers office etc), of my telephone land line mentioned above.

The malfunction has caused my communication and internet connection, also through BSNL line, effected my working on all these days.

It is also brought to your attention that the internet services are not available or intermittent( 1 minute ok & 10 minutes off etc )

As I am on ECS my payment are promptly paid in time for the above as per the bills sent to me irrespective of the above hasles that I have been facing

I believe that an ISO 9001:2000 certified organization cannot treat a customer complaint with so much delay.For the last five weeks no effort has been made by your dept to settle my complaint

Any thing to be done from my side may please be communicated through Email or through SMS to [protected].

Also I request you to recommend pro rata reduction in charges applicable to the non working connections.

If this fault can not be set right and lines restored from your end by 25th Aug 2008, I will be compelled to swith over to other efficient private service provider even though I have been your customer for the last 23 years for which your customer service dept. is solely responsible.

Have had similar experiences with BSNL, Bangalore. In case of faults with landline/broadband, it is only after repeated, desperate attempts that they respond. If the customer service continues to be so poor, I have the slightest doubt that customers would start switching to other providers, given the large number of private players with better offers and more importantly, better customer service. It is high time this indifferent attitude is addressed.

bsnl / dataone broadband service — for 500c they are cheating every customer

bsnl advertises that there 500c broadband plan provides unlimited night usage between
02:00am to 08:00 am but many of there servers are not set to follow these rules
they charge heavily and produces bills in even lacs of rupees

This is exactly what is happening to most of the customers. The problem is not hust in some places, but in all places, which clearly shows that, the BSNL broadband server is configured wrongly.

I am having the same problem. I have concrete evidence, with the usage summary reports, which show sessions of connections spanning beyond 2:00 AM. Can anybody please suggest, if I can go ahead with filing the compliant?

This is the case to most of my friends too who end up paying their boradband bills in thousands. if they do this all over India, how much of extra bills should they be getting every month? is this not a menace? and most o[censored]s go only for BSNL broadband for its excellent speed!

I have been having a problem with the power adoption. Every switch is turned on but there is no power in my modem. The customer care number they give us is for show only. It goes to Maharastra and they cannot even give us kolkata's customer care number. BSNL is an organisation of worldclass cheaters.

I am fed-up with the BSNL broad band.

No doubt its speed is good. But once any problem occurs, these people are not ready to help.

I stay at Kestopur, My Broad band doesn't work sometime (this happens and I am not complaining for this). When I try to launch complain at the number [protected], they do not react positively. The problems I face

1) They either keep me on hold for more than 10 mints.
2) They take action only if I call them 5 to 6 times for consecutive 4 to5 days.
3) They say they are very busy to come to my residence to check the issue.
4) The problem gets resolved only after 15 days (at least)
5) They ask to come to their office at dum dum with modem.

BSNL mobile - Cellone — Network problem

I'm using BSNL mobile connection from Himachal Pradhesh since last 4 months and whenever I'm on tour outside of the state, the mobile was working fine. Now today 07.01.2009 when I'm in Mumbai, I didn't get network. For the same I called up BSNL customer care and talked with them. Reply is other part but advising me and tell me that speak slowly and not loudly. Showing me manners but not resolving the matter. I told him very clearly I'm filing the complaint in consumer forum against the company. I hope I'll get the justice from this fourm at least and perish BSNL not for rupee but on moral basis and ask them to withdraw their slogan of No. 1 Telecom company in India. Do it or close this forum as it will be only Mirage for customer like us who are paying for services and not for harrasement.

Action must be within official hours by tomorrow.

Hope this will be done or go to hell with this forum.

It all started when I changed my number from Airtel to Bsnl, since most of my relatives are using Bsnl.I am also facing network problems, when it rains the problem worsens.I a single month alone nearly 50 to 60 calls got cut in between because of tower problem.I called Bsnl people and complained to them for 3 times in that month but they took no action.In Airtel(my earlier network)I faced the same problem but they solved it in a week.I am a average mobile user I use around 300mins of outgoing calls a month and stay at a main place in Coimbatore.If they dont care abt my complaint then I dont know what kind of service they provide for persons who live at remote areas and use their mobile for incoming purposes alone.I have also seen some slowness in messages getting delivered or calls getting connected in Bsnl(when compared to Airtel) I think they use primitive technology when compared to Airtel.

It also happened.But no use.Finally I decided to make a move from this Network and Go for Vadafone or Airtel.I Pray If possible you people please solve the problem for the remaining customers too.
