I purchased Elite Advantage plan from Bharti Axa in Nov'21 with an annual premium of 2 lakhs which turned out to be a nightmare. Multiple people made many fake promises which were never fulfilled. People involved were Siddhesh & Roshan. The promises they made are:
1. 5% cashback on the premium amount.
2. Reimbursement of the interest if premium is paid through credit card EMIs.
3. Maturity amount of Rs. 53 lakhs after 12 years.
After selling the policy the sales guys suddenly went unreachable and stopped responding.
No cashback, no interest on EMIs.
Moreover, maturity amount promised too was fake. I got reminders last month for the payment of 2nd year premium. When I checked with the customer care, they said the maturity amount after 12 years is just 27 lakhs.
So, after paying 24 lakhs + gst, the maturity amount will be only 27 lakhs after 12 years.
I raised multiple requests on Bharti Axa's customer complaint ID, even sent them the call recordings where the sales guys are clearing making fake promises and telling wrong calculations, even the ph. no is registered with Bharti.
But, i received robotic and scripted replies that they did not find any wrongdoing in selling this policy.
This level of corrupt practices by sales team cannot happen without the support of the higher ups, as they are sure no action will be taken on them.
Now my 2 lakhs are stuck with them and they are not ready to refund the amount. That means it has gone waste.
Now I am planning to go to IRDAI and then to consumer court.
I am sure they would have cheated multiple clients with these kind of promises. If anyone else is cheated, please reach out to me at [protected] to have collective effort against them.
