Respected sir,
I have filed a medi-claim with paramount for my hospitalisation as guided by toll free number of bharti axa. It has been more than 2 months of filing the claim. I have not yet received my claim amount. Everytime i call on tollfree number to inquire the status of my claim, i get the same answer that my claim is under process. On 11/12/17, i had got a call from bharti-axa, who told me that my claim is approved & i will get re-imbursement within 1 week. Now 1week has already passed & yet i have not received the payment. When i called today, again i got the same answer that wait for 21 more days & then i will get my payment.
Isnt there a particular time limit according to irda within which insurance companies have to reimburse the claim?
Now i feel harressed & cheatd by purchasing this health policy from bharti-axa. I am very sad to say that in the times of my illness i have to beg for my reimbursement even after being a regular customer of this company.
