Greetings,
I am writing to inform you that I was sold a fraudulent policy under the diguise of financial benefits through a scamster agent ( Pooja Mishra - [protected]), this lady pretended to be calling from Bajaj Finance offering a loan on this policy .
She shared some loan documents etc pretending to be from Bajaj Finance .
I have all whatsapp conversations and her voice recordings .
Policy was delivered to me on 9th June and was informed that my loan is to be disbursed on 21th june, I was medically unwell and had to undergo a surgery .
I had asked this ladt to cancel this policy on 21st June as I needed the amount for my medical expenses, since I was admitted and under observation - i had very limited access to the phone - to which she agreed and assured me she would get it cancelled . however she skipped to acknowledge my calls and on 23rd she gave we an incorrect email address to send email ( i have it on my whatsapp ) email address she provided was [protected]@bharti-axalife.com, upon correcting her that its not same email address as on website, she insisted it department for cancellations .
This scammer somehow managed to get me past 15 days of free lookup period, knowing I am hospitalized and I had IV on my hands so I could barely type.
Upon realising the scam i had mailed to customer service on 24th for cancellation to which i was informed i am past 1 day in look free period.
Post that she had asked me to send copies of my hospital surgery assuring me as an employee with Bharti Axa she can get a refund, however in vain .
I can attach my hospitalisation documents - whatsapp chats and voice recordings .
Kindly suggest what should be my next further action.
I really dont believe that such a reputed brand is letting this happen without being unnoticed.
Let me know if I should go ahead and file a complaint cybercell, I am ready to submit my phone for digital evidence.
