I am buying jewels from bhima jewelers since many years. Being a regular customer i have always opted their jewels saving scheme.
Today's incident really made me upset and i feel they are not at all fair to their regular customers.
I had placed an order for mangalya chain on 18th dec 2018. On that day gold rate was rs3565/gm. My gold saving scheme card was already due from nov 2018. When they asked me to pay some amount as part of the order, i told them to take it from my jewels saving scheme amount which was due and once the order was ready, plan was to close the chit and buy the chain., gayathri and deepika are the staff members we interacted with.
I gave them my saving scheme card to note down the number as a reference for the order placement. They gave back my card in sometime and they said once the order is ready, please come and collect.
As always, we thought gold rate at the date of ordering is considered as its the practice where ever you go around this world.
Today when i went to collect my ordered chain, they started saying today's gold rate is considered and today's rate was rs 3830/gm. We were totally surprised by this conduct and they did not agree to put the rate as per the day of ordering. All stories started with saving scheme we can not place an order, bla bla….
After so much of arguments, we felt really sad and gave up saying, we will not come to this place again. Really not fair. If this is the case, they should have communicated properly. Unnecessarily i paid more than rs7.5k extra today... Its hard earned money for me... Being from a middle class family.
Hoping to get some justice on this.
