Bilcare Ltd — Fd principal amount not issued after the maturity | |||||
Hi, I am M Parthsarathy, aged 85 years living in Chennai. I have have an FD with Bilcare (FDR # 717695) for Rs. 50000 which had got matured on 29-Oct-2015. I have not got the principal amount so far and the Investment was made through Bajaj Capital. I am living only on my pension and interest from the FDs. My fd matured on july 2019 and yet no any communication from company till date. while telephoning no one give response or pick up the phone.
With reference to your query regarding your FD investment, we wish to inform you that in Bilcare Ltd, there is an order dated 27/10/2016 passed by NCLT, Mumbai on the application filed by M/s Bilcare Limited under section 74(2) for seeking extension in repayment to the Depositors.
Chairman & Managing Director of Bilcare Ltd have given an undertaking to pay Rs. 20.05 Crore to depositors with the value up to Rs. 25, 000/- and Depositors with age above 60yrs and principal value upto Rs. 35, 000/-.
For rest of the amount, the company sought an extension till December, 2017.

a. This is the 2nd time Bilcare seeking for extension to NCLT(1st time is on 7Aug2015 for 15 months). Did NCLT approve this extension? If possible, can you pls share soft copies of those letters here.
b. BTW, did Bilcare seek NCLT permission to extend it further after Dec2017? If so, request to share those details.
Even a small help in this matter highly appreciated.
