Blue Star India — under warranty home deep freezer with hard top services not been provided | |
I purchased a hard top blue star deep freezer for my house 2 years ago. It stopped working 10 days ago and immediately we contacted the seller, the service centre in chandigarh (Where i reside) and the customer complaint cell of the company in mumbai. The service centre sent a team to investigate the problem after 24 hours of our continuous calls to them. And they found that the compressor of the machine is not functional anymore (Note that the machine is in a house, so no moving no shifting no one had access to it except for me and my husband.) they said they will replace the compressor but we have to pay the charges for the servicing as well as filling the gas. Also they said it will take them about 2 days to come back with a new machine. For which we requested them for a faster service as the deep freezer is full of imported stuff which i got from my country recently. (I'm a foreigner). After 2 days we started calling again as there was no call from them but the service in-charge stopped receiving our calls. Then again i called mumbai and explained the problem and i was promised help. But again no help no call back and also stopped receiving my calls. Now it's been 10 days and there's still no sign of them. Most of the food which was in the freezer has been thrown away. I wish to increase awareness on this issue so that our horrible experience with this third class company can be avoided by others. A big no to blue star. I wish there was an option of giving a minus star to them. Was this information helpful? | |
