Inverter AC 2 ton product and service issue

I am extremely disappointed with both the product quality and service experience of Blue Star.
I purchased a 2 Ton Blue Star AC around 10 months ago, but from the very beginning I never received proper cooling. During installation itself there was leakage due to improper installation. Delay in AC Installation and Lack of Support

Poor and Fraudulent Service by the Company

For days, I have been persistently following up regarding the repair of my AC with Blue Star India. Despite registering the complaint multiple times, no technician arrived. Every call ends with the same hollow promise: “We’ve lodged your complaint”—yet there is no action, no visit, no resolution. This is happening form past 1 month.

Only after escalating the issue on LinkedIn did someone finally respond....

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the service experience regarding my Blue Star air conditioner, which is currently under warranty (less than 1 year old).

I registered a complaint on Thursday, 17th April 2025, regarding the AC not cooling. Since then, I have received calls from 4–5 technicians daily, asking for the same details – address and problem description. However, no one has visited to inspect or resolve the issue till date.

This ongoing delay is unacceptable. My elderly parents are facing extreme discomfort due to the lack of cooling, and despite repeated follow-ups, no service has been provided. It appears that we are being misled with false assurances, which is both frustrating and disappointing.

Please treat this as an urgent escalation and ensure that a qualified technician visits and resolves the issue immediately.

      A faulty Airconditioner

      Address: Blue Star India

      Purchased the AC from Amazon.in (seller name: Dawntech Electronics Pvt Ltd) on March 12 2023, the AC had gas leaks 4 times in 2 years costing me Rs10, 000 plus labour charges, this with the original cost of AC being Rs 34, 000.
      Recent check by the technician has revealed multiple leakages in the indoor unit.
      The company should accept that the product is faulty and replace it with immediate effect....

          Dear Bluestar Customer Support,

          I am writing to express my concern regarding the Bluestar Window AC 1.5 Ton (Model: WID318L) that I purchased on 24th May 2024 from Electronics Mart, Sector 11, Gurgaon, Haryana. Unfortunately, within just 20 days o[censored]sage, the air conditioner has stopped cooling effectively.

          I raised a complaint regarding this issue two days ago (19th June 2024), Ticket No: B[protected], but I have not received any response from your service team. No one has visited my home to inspect the unit, and my attempts to contact the service center (The great Indian solutions, Gurgaon, Haryana) have been futile. The customer care numbers ([protected], [protected], [protected] & [protected]) provided in the message after my complaint are either not being answered or are consistently busy. I have not been able to reach them for two days despite multiple call attempts.

          I am extremely disappointed with Bluestar's customer service and after-sales support. I raised a complaint two days ago, but I have not received any follow-up calls or visits from the service team. The customer care numbers provided are either not answered or perpetually busy.

          This lack of response and support is unacceptable, and I would caution anyone considering Bluestar products to reconsider. The poor service has been a significant inconvenience, and I am left with a non-functioning AC during the peak of summer. I expect a prompt resolution to my complaint, either through a replacement or a refund.

          Given these circumstances, I kindly request a prompt replacement of the defective unit or a full refund of the purchase price. Please treat this matter with urgency, as the lack of a functioning air conditioner is causing significant discomfort.

          Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a swift resolution.

            The mentioned AC was bought in May, 2022 from Patra Electronics, Balasore, Odisha. AC was running smooth till 16 June, 2024. Suddenly on that day, the AC outdoor stopped working and there was a grinding kind of noise from the indoor unit. I called the official Blue Star service guy, he checked something and then asked to re-fill the refrigerant (R32). He filled the gas, but nothing happened. Now he is asking to pay him Rs 8, 000 to check for the leakage in both indoor and outdoor unit. And his behaviour is very rude too. I raised a complaint by calling the customer care of Blue Star India, but they also refused to help. I request the manufacturer to please visit once to my residence in Balasore and sort this out asap. The compressor and PCB must be within warranty. But still, they are charging heavy amount of money and not assuring the resolution. This is very pathetic, Blue Star. I have other brand's AC in my residence like Voltas and Lloyd, and they are working perfectly fine since last 6, 7 years. And here Blue Star fails within 2 years and that to only 5, 6 months of total usage. Please look into the issue and maintain the trust and peace of mind of your consumers.

                AC is not working

                I have a purchase a blue star convertible 5 in 1 cooling 2023 1.5 ton 5 star split inverter air conditioner on 16.01.2024 from the online platform of Flipcart .(invoice copy enclosed)

                I register Ticket B[protected] for breakdown of Home AC for PCB Not working which is under warranty, This ticket is assigned to Om Service & Sales, a service partner of Blue Star India. Service Engineer from Om Service & Sales visited my place and straight away asked for Visit Charges Rs. 750/-, when I said that Product is under warranty and at least first attend the issue.
                Service Engineer said It will take 15 days to get your issue resolved. He had not even seen the product.
                This kind of service is not expected from BLUE Star. Kindly look in to the issue
