I have got an email that i won bmw car, hp laptop, and money, that the delivery agent came to india, new delhi, but he put me a message that i have to pay 25, 000 rupees, before delivery of products, please deliver it fast. U told me that i won it then why u are asking money again. Is it real, i really won the bmw car or not please give me the information... My name is dilip kumar so please tell me that is true and false

    Hi

    I am extremely sad to write such a dissatisfaction letter to such an esteemed company like BMW. Let me introduce me first. I am Dr Vijayamohan from Kerala, the southernmost state of India. I am an Orthopaedic surgeon specialized in Joint replacement surgery and is heading the unit in one of the most advanced tertiary care hospitals in Kerala namely Astermedcity ( www.astermedcity.com).
    Since the last 5 years I have been using a 520 D and I was actually in love with that machine and when I decided to buy a new car I never had a second choice. I was only confused which model of BMW I should go for. Finally I decided to go for the new 630D GT and there were two agencies in my city, Kochi competing to make me buy from their shop. The Platino and The EVM Autokraft. After few rounds of negotiations with both dealers I decided to buy the car from EVM Autokraft.
    The services from the dealer in terms of showing me the models and giving me test drive etc were splendid from both dealers. Things went superfast till I pay the whole amount. The whole money was paid on 2nd August, Thursday and also they insisted to take the old car (as buy back) on same day. So I gave everything as they have requested, but saw things going wrong after that. Earlier they promised that the car will be delivered the next day of me making the payment. But after paying the amount in full I had to wait couple of days again and they blamed the regional registration office for that and assured me that the car will be delivered on Monday 6/8/18.
    But I was not getting any confirmation till evening of 6th September and so I went to the show room by 5 pm in the evening and saw the delivery bay empty and on enquiry I could understand that the car was not ready for delivery. That was not even registered as they haven’t paid the nominal registration amount to regional transport office. I insisted on getting the car that day itself. So they brought the car from the backside, dusted in front of me and just covered it with cloth and made me do the so called unveiling ceremony. Finally I had to take an unregistered vehicle home, that too because I kept my foot down that I cannot wait any more. Even after that I couldn’t use the car three more days as registration procedures were delayed again and finally they gave me the registration number on 9th Thursday night. So after paying the whole amount for a premium car of a manufacturer like BMW and also surrendering my old BMW I had to resort to taxi for 5 days for my various commitments. I could start using the car only by 9th September

    I have asked for an all-weather floor mat for the car. I was getting promises that the mat will come from Bangalore and so it needs couple of days’ time. Every time when I call or message this “couple of days” was repeated and the floor mat never arrived . After couple of weeks they told me BMW do not make any floor mats and asked me to search in local market!!
    On 17th of August I had an unfortunate incident. When my car was waiting in the traffic signal one young chap in bike came, tried to squeeze in between my car and another lorry waiting on my left side, got skid and his bike handle came and hit on the left tail lamp side and the lamp cover got broke. When I came out of my car the boy was all in tears and pleading mercy as he is just a sales person in a small shop and do not have any money to give me. I had no other choice other than letting him go and to suffer my damage myself.
    I immediately informed the show room about the incident and sent the pics of the broken light. Thanks to the great service of your dealer I got it fixed on 11th September. So it took almost a month for them to call my vehicle and repair the damage. That too after so many number of messages and phone calls from my side. Every time the dealer / service centre says that they need more time to procure the light. So after spending so much money to buy a premium vehicle from an esteemed company like BMW there is no guarantee that you will be looked after well once they get the money and get the vehicle out of their show room. It is really amazing how these people gets insensitive once the sale is done. That too even for a vehicle for which RTO registration is not yet over. The last 10 days at least I was getting the same answer – “The light will reach tomorrow”
    I have few doubts here
    1. Is the side tail lamp cover is so flimsy that it will break with such a low velocity rub? Is it not a manufacturing defect?
    2. Don’t you think it is a totally unsatisfactory service from the dealer / centre to delay the repair of a brand new vehicle so much and force the owner to drive around with a broken new car?
    3. If it is a manufacturing defect is it fair to make me pay around 34, 000 Rs /- again for that?

    My biggest upset and surprise was yet to come. Couple of days ago I received the vehicle insurance policy certificate. The IDV (insured vehicle price) is shown as 64 lakhs. Actual price shown in the manufacturer price list is 7470000 they have declared to RTO is 74.4lakhs and made me pay the tax for the same. But to keep the insurance premium low (which they have communicated to me to prevent me from buying from the other dealer and also to avoid me talking insurance from a nationalised company) they have shown a reduced price as the cost of vehicle. Up on enquiry with some of the insurance advisors and legal practitioners I came to know that this is totally illegal and punishable as per the rule of the land.
    The Indian insurance regulatory authority clearly says that the IDV should be calculated based on the declared value of the vehicle at time of registration and any discounts or offers given by the dealer is from his profit and should not be taken in to account when calculating the tax or insurance of the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle is entitled for an IDV calculated based on the manufacturer listing price based on which he has paid the tax. I tried to talk to the dealer officer staff concerned with insurance and they out-rightly refused and said since it is already done nothing can be done. They also told me they are not bothered about what Insurance authority says and they will do only what they have done now and no point in me talking to them anymore. The officer in charge of the insurance in the office was very arrogant when talking and when I mentioned about the Indian law he was trying to tell me that they don’t look into any regulatory authority.
    Surprisingly the Mr Anoop from EVM who is the single point contact I had in this car deal has suddenly became very busy with other customers. Earlier he used to attend my calls on the first or second ring I had to call him multiple times to get him on phone and whenever he attends the call he will say he is busy with a customer and will call back. But that call back never happened.

    On buying back my Old BMW they have made me signed a sale deed with one Mr Viju Ismael on 6/8/2018 but I have realised that even after weeks they have not changed the registration of the car to the new owner. This makes me at a very high risk as whatever the new owner do with the car I will be responsible
    When enquired with regional transport office they told me they have not received any application for changing the owner ship. I immediately contacted the BMW dealer and asked them to take steps to correct this but nothing was done. I have notified the regional transport authority also about this. But even today the 13th September 2018 the registration still remains under my name
    And now the CEO of EVM autokraft today has told me that car is not yet sold and is still under their custody !
    So I have two doubts
    1. Why Mr Anoop insisted for handing over the car on 3rd of August itself? What he told me was that the buyer wanted it immediately.
    2. If they have not sold the car then who is this Viju Ismael who has signed in the sale deed?
    3. If they have not sold the car why did they made me signed in a false sale deed? Is it not illegal?

    Lastly I have just received a policy certificate from HDFC Ergo for my old car in my name. I have not applied for any insurance or have entrusted anyone to take insurance on behalf of me. So how can they take insurance in my name without, my knowledge or consent. Also they have used my 50 % NCB certificate to claim NCB for old car without my permission or knowledge. How easily they do illegal things!!!

    I am really sorry to see these much of bad experience after purchasing a premium vehicle like 630 d sport GT from BMW. I am sure this doesn’t suite the declared service and quality policies of a great car company like BMW. I request you to look into the matter and take necessary steps so that as a genuine customer I will be given justice by correcting the fraudulent activities these people have done and also by giving me proper compensation for the time and energy I had to waste because of the un professional and dishonest activities of the staff in the dealer ship and also the physical and mental agony I have suffered

    I hereby want to inform you that if your good office do not immediately intervene and correct the irregularities and pay me adequate compensation I will be moving legally against your company and dealer ship as per the concerned rules of Indian law

      Hello, I am the owner of bmw X1 car...Surat. Number is GJ05 JF 8394.

      Last night that is 23/9/2018, at 12 midnight we were passing by on the Modasa-Godhra..road where the 2 tyres were damaged..

      I have tried to call at each and every place but no option, service was available and i am with my family suffering still since 12-18 hours.

      What should i do now?

      I have received mail from bmw motor promotion about wining lottery. So how I can confirm that I am the winner of lottery .I got mail from them as stated below

        i too got same mail there giving response and they said i have won 3Cr.65 lakhs, laptop & BMW car

        they said to pay custom duty charges and money change to Indian currency and anti crime certificate and RBI certificate i have tottally paid to them and later they are saying the amount will be transfer to my account and later the car and laptop they will bring by hand

            I bought x1 model in december, 2016 from kun motors, hyderabad. Registration number ts 09 er 3999.

            In the month of august, while i was on long trip, vehicle ac stopped working suddenly while driving. Vehicle has no software to provide indication of ac likely failure warning. When i visited kun motors service station enroute at mangalagiri in guntur district on 17-08-18. They checked and told me that it failed due to dust accumulation in filters and they cleaned it. To my surprise, after travelling for few kilometers, i found that it is still not working. After my return to hyderabad after 4 days, on 21-08-18, i visited kun motors hyderabad service station for 2nd service due for vehicle and informed them about ac failure. I was told that ac gas exhausted and hence not worked. It is very bad on technicians part for their inability to identify the correct problem and rectify it. No one expects bmw vehicle to fail like this and their technicians working like this.

            Now the most worst experience, i had is on 13th september (Which is about 20 days after 2nd service of my vehicle). Vehicle stopped suddenly while driving on mid road and the mobile service people told that battery is totally dead. Can any one expect bmw vehicle stopping while driving because of battery failure. Vehicle has no software to warn about likely failure of battery. Normally battery of any car doesn't get exhausted as long as we are driving, once the engine started. The point to be noted here is, it seems service centre didn't check battery status at the time of 2nd service of vehicle (15000kms).

            The above incidents force me not to buy bmw vehicles in my life time and tell all my friends and contacts to never buy and trust bmw vehicles.

                Sir i to had received the mailed saying i had won a lottery. Then to know whether the lottery is fake or real i had opened the link and started reading the reviews. Not only me the other people who had received the same mail like me are also in the same dilemma whether the lottery is fake or real. And some had commented it as fake also.

                Why won't you reply to the reviews if the offer is true. Si many members are in the dilemma about the offer.

                  Am the proud owner of bmw gt, (Details given below)

                  I have invoiced this on under the ownership of ms komal machindra. From you dealer in mumbai : navnit motor.

                  I must admit that the design and the engine are explampary in design and designed for maximum comfort. I also have a discovery (Range rover) and the aircon and the pickup etc of your car ie bmw is far superior,

                  When i procured the vehicle the safety feature was such that when the seat belt was put on both the front seats were not put on after the passenger was sitting it used to initiate an audio signal, this was a reflection of the safety feature that is expected of a bmw.

                  For the past few weeks the audio signal on the left seat was not operational inspite of a passenger sitting on it, during my routine (The first after purchase) servicing, i had mentioned about this anomaly and humbly requested the mechanic to look into it and rectify it.

                  To my great disappointment he very catogerically and emphatically informed me that such a feature doesnt exist at all in my vehicle by design and that i was in some kind of illusion, infact he went on to claim that he checked with other cars of the same make and has confirmed that its purely a figment of my imagination.

                  I am a professional and in sane mind and am sure that the safety feature (Indication by audio signal when seat belt not worn) was very much existing when i purchased the car, and must be the tactics of procratinating by a overzealous member of the worksop, and is in no way a reflection of the grave imporatnce that you as a brand give to such an important safety feature.

                  I would very humly request you to please look in to this matter and get back to me as i am anxious as i have my family members using this care and safety is paramount importance and is one of the prime decising factors for me to choose a bmw brand over any other vehicle.

                    I would like to bring to your attention the unprofessional handling, delays and failure to provide satisfactory services for my bmw x1 vehicle by libra autohaus service center in mayapuri, delhi.

                    In the recent rains in gurgaon there was waterlogging on the road and bmw engine stopped working. Water entered inside the cabin and filled below the seats area wetting the whole carpet. I had sent the vehicle for drying carpet.

                    First, arshad had given me the estimate of 2 days for the work and despite my follow-up didn’t provide the estimate of the cost even after 2 days. Later every day they kept asking me to extend by day or two by giving some reason or the other. Every day i got the feeling that they didn’t know the job and as they were opening the carpet and form were experimenting on how to dry the same. Seems the service folks are complete novice and has no knowledge of bmw vehicles they are just experimenting with such premium and costly machines at the cost and risk of owner.

                    Later after 5 days they said they are ready to deliver the vehicle on doing detail digging on the phone they said though the carpet is little moist it should be ok. I then asked them to take more time and deliver only fully dried vehicle they took another 4 days and confirmed all is well and when i received the vehicle today, i was shocked to see that carpet was not dried, not even moist it is actually wet. The driver who came along confirmed to arshad the same. When i asked what should i do, they just insisted on making the payment with no concern on completion of service, quality of service or what form and shape vehicle is delivered to me.

                    I have made the payment; however, i am left shocked, displeased, frustrated and left fuming. Bmw experience severely graded down in my mind. This is most shocking service experience i got from all vehicles i have ever had.

                    I request bmw to take this seriously and thoroughly audit the capability of libra autohaus to service bmw vehicles satisfactorily and not have multiple such and repeated experiences delivered to their customers. This may take severe beating on the premium image of bmw.

                        After purchasing a new model of bmw x1 and thhe new model lauched with 3 months of my purchase, i come to know that the reverse parking camera cannot be installed on my car as its not compatible. Why such compatibility is not there in a newly launched vehicle and a vehicle lauched in span of 3 months. There is no response from bmw india. After spending such a huge amount a essential feature like a reverse parking camera is not installable. This is not acceptable and cheating to the customers.

                              I own bmw x1 series. I purchased this vehicle brand new from the dealer in ahmedabad. I noticed that 3 tires had a crack in the center full circumference. These both the tires are in front side and back side. I have already changed those tyres from my own pocket as these bmw service guys has refused to do it.

                              I have regularly checked the pressure of the tires as required during my every diesel fill at the petrol station. My car has remained under a protected garage at home and also at my office. I really need to know that how these tires have a crack dead center all through out? Iam confirmed that these are manufacturing defect.. I spoke with ms. July and she also confirmed that this has happened to other customers in india.

                                I own bmw 7 series with 14500 kms at present. I purchased this vehicle brand new from the dealer in ahmedabad. On august 5th sunday i was on highway and a messaged popped on the screen 'check the tire' i noticed that the tire had a crack in the center full circumference. (Pictures attached). Then noticed it was also on the second tire similar crack in the center all through out. These both the tires are in front side. I had to change one tire in an emergency to make sure that i reach the destination safely.

                                I have regularly checked the pressure of the tires as required during my every diesel fill at the petrol station. My car has remained under a protected garage at home and also at my office. I really need to know that how two tires have a crack dead center all through out? I need to know the reason. Is this a manufacturing defect of the tire company? I have researched few blogs in europe and usa and similar situations has happened in those countries. I spoke with ms. July and she also confirmed that this has happened to other customers in india.

                                As a gm of bmw i would appreciate if this matter is escalated and reviewed. The car has only 14500 kms driven and two tires crack, is very absurd and seems very much a manufacturing defect. This has to be resolved by bmw corporation. Bmw should replace these tires on my car.

                                We have faced same problem in our NEW BMW X1.BMW took our complete car on crane in place of changing the Tyre at spot.You will be surprised to know that with BMW X1 spare Tyre you can just drive 70-80 kms

                                What is the use of such a spare tyre. In MP we have only one service center.So every time our car will fail in future it will have to be picked up on crane.We are worried what will happen when warranty is over.We are unable to understand why we should not all unite and force BMW to put proper Tyre's made for Indian road.They are taking all customers for granted

                                  I want to raise a complaint against the quality of the bmw cars and their suitability on indian roads.

                                  I purchased a bmw 320d car in 2014 from baveria motors, pune (Chasis number: wba3f37000e991347 – registration number mh 12 ct 2042). On june 18, 2018, i had an incidence which rendered my car completely inoperative and i incurred a heavy service cost (More than 8.5laks which is 25% of the cost of my car).

                                  On this day, there was medium rains observed in pune due to which water clogged in an area of road on my commute path. A 100 meters patch of the road, was clogged with 10 inches of water. All other cars were passing through the water, but when i took my 3 series in, it stalled completely. It left the car inoperative with an engine sign and eventually the car had to be towed to bmw shop in baveria motors, pune. At baveria motors, they charged me 8.5l stating it required disassembling the engine and replacing few parts of it. I have absolutely no way to challenge or vet their claims and had to finally get these repairs done.

                                  I want to request bmw to investigate this matter because it exposes poor quality of workmanship and products offered by bmw. Clearly on this forum, i see more such complaints nad if this is a problem with this product, it certainly qualifies a class action suit against bmw.

                                    During my ( Ranjith ) Official visit on 9 th July 2018 to Uran Navy, driver, myself and one of my colleagues were at Car . Near JNPT gate at Panvel Uran Road around 100 metres before JNPT, All the vehicles were flying at that road at some location there was water flowing on the road at less than one feet height . Our vehicle also started moving along with other vehicles, all of a sudden our vehicle got stopped, traffic got blocked because of stoppage of our vehicle, immediately we informed BMW roadside helpline . We are surprised to note that each and every vehicles including cycle, auto rickshaw, scooter, small cars all were passing through easily .During this time traffic police cane and with the help of local people, vehicle pushed towards the side where there was no water to facilitate the traffic movement. Later on towing van came and shifted the vehicle to Turbhe’s Infinity Service Center and now we have been informed that they have flushed out the water which cost was 150000/- and after flushing out water, they have found that engine is jamm so they have to dismantle the engine to find out the reason . We are disappointed to note that where most of vehicles have no problems running at water while our high end vehicle not only stopped but now we have to spend heavy money to get it repaired . This vehicle is to be kept at shed during monsoon is not correct thing . We feel that it would be better to purchase any normal vehicles which are suitable for Indian road conditions .

                                      I booked my service appointment on 9th june for 5th july 2018 for my car ka51 mk 9866. I gave it for simple service. I clearly asked for a replacement car for the period of service in my service request. Nobody turned up with a replacement car.

                                      After taking my car at 12.30pm, i did not get any response for hours. At 4pm plus service advisor calls me to tell me what it costs. He included many other things that were not needed. Then another lady calls up to sell me a service package.in this time, full day was lost and then i was told that they cannot do service today and cannot return the car either today.
                                      I was left stranded without transport. No cabs to travel from my office in bellandur to my home in basavanagudi. I had to walk 18km.
                                      On top of that sales lady told me that my car warranty started on 29th september 2017 when the car was actually was delivered to me on 9th october after registration on 6th october 2017 afternoon. Over 10 days of warranty period is quietly knocked off by bmw. I am appalled at their behavior.
                                      I think people should not buy any of these cars any more to suffer at their hands.
