I own a bmw 5 series car, which i purchased last year from a friend. It is otherwise manufactured in 2011.
I have seen a peculiar problem. The rubber in the door handles (Inner side of the door) has decayed or melted with the result that it sticks to the hand and dirties the hand each time a door is handled.
I have been driving cars of various brands over last more than thirty years and have never been confronted with such a problem. The obvious reason seems to be the poor quality of rubber used on the inner side of the door handle.
I assume and expect that bmw must have received similar complaints regarding similar cars/models of around the same time.

Pl. Let me know how bmw is willing to help the situation as a responsible car manufacturer. Needless to mention that a deficiency like this is not expected even in much lower brands.

I own a bmw x1, purchased from indore showroom by the name - kamal kishore agrawal.
From day one, because of some manufacturing defect, some water was leaking inside the car keeping drive vers side floor wet.
Because of which, floor mattings was completly spoiled and lost its addisive ability, ciz of which it slids in front & some time covers the brake or accelerater. (Which is life thretening)
At the time of first service, we complaint this & they some how resolved the leaking problem. (Quit satesfied)
But they refused to exchange the mattings saying that now they will not slide in front.
But i am afraid to tell you that its (Problem) still their.
While in drive, driver side mattings slids in the front & caused many life thretening events.

I had given my 5 series car no gj 5 jf 1900 to parsoli mothers in surat in july or august last year for 2 dents to be repaired. I received my car back on nov 27th. When my driver got the car from the workshop, the ac and the audio system of the car was not working and a part of side door panel was changed.. We got on to parsoli motors and send the car back. They said that the blower fan of the car has been missed in ahmedabad workshop. After 7 days the car was again returned with just the blower fitted. But no cooling n nothing more done.

Then we were told that there was no gas in the company so pls call us after 5 days they will arrange in meanwhile. And then later they said that company audit is going so pls hold for another few day. And then they vanished.

In the mean while i got a call from bmw company that the dealership of bmw with parsoli has been cancelled and all will be taken care by bmw india directly within a month time

Pls check your records in your system my complain is there in month of december early i think.

We waited and called bmw on helpline a number of times all this time to get the matter solved as assured.

Now finally a temperory service centre has been opened by bmw and as last week i gave them my car they stand clueless of everything. And they have given me an estimate of 4lakhs plus.
I am surprised.

It’s nearly 9 months my car is standing idle.
1. It’s getting depreciated
2. I am paying for annual insurances
3. And i am not able to use the vehicle.

If you wish i can send you my call records of nov and december how many call i have made to parsoli motors both in ahmedabad in surat.

I am looking forward an early response.
My complain was registered in ur customer care in nov december pls check

I am the proud owner of a bmw 520 d - white color with the registration number – ap31tv0099.
It is a taxi vehicle and i have a clientele that most people cannot boast of in visakhapatnam.
I am and have been facing a very irritable issue, which is minor but is not being resolved.
Four months ago this issue arose (Where the vehicle is getting started after 15 attempts) and with no workshop in vizag, we towed the vehicle to vijayawada and we spent 25000/- and the issue still persisted. We sent the vehicle and trusted the showroom people when they told us that the issue was resolved. Till today we are facing the same issue and the technician comes, checks the vehicle and leaves after doing some minor adjustments.

Now, when we talked to them they are expecting the vehicle to be towed to vijayawada and i will end up with a hole of another 25000/-
The issue being minor, i hope it can be resolved immediately and small vendors like me are encouraged to further expand their luxury segment in their fleet.

I had purchased one bmw 5 series (520 d) in august 2011. The vehicle was under service warranty for 5 years. All the services were performed as specified till date at m/s. Platino classic kochi. Last week one lady called from them and offered a free check up for the vehicle. After checkup they told me that the turbo of the vehicle is damaged and it will cost approximately rs. 2 lakhs to repair it. My car has done hardly 90000 kms only and i could not understand how a engine gets damaged so soon. I was told when i purchased the car that the engine would have no complaints up to 5 lakh kms. I cannot afford to run the vehicle spending so much money. I doubt about the genuineness of the defect. So it is humbly requested that the said defect may if any may be rectified at your own cost.
