Subject: vehicle returned from service didn’t have few mats, service adviser not taking accountability of that.

My car bmw 3gt 2018 model was taken for service by bmw service center - kun bmw – ambattur, chennai india on 25 feb 2020 and return on the same day. Concern is two of my bmw mats are missing which are specially customized and tailor made.
On 25 evening car was returned from service while i am not at home. I found the missing mat on 26 feb 2020 and enquired the service advice kishore about it, he told he will enquire and come back in some time. He came with the answer that the mat will be in the boot, i said i already seen every where, and i can’t find it. He told that he will check the cc tv camera and will come up with answer. He didn’t turn back for couple of days, i called and asked about the status, he send a video which they capture during the vehicle arrival for service. I watched the video and highlighted my mat in the video by taking snapshot of the video and pinged him in wats up and called him, kishore accepted and said he will enquire further and will be back in some time which he told on 29 feb 2020 and till today (9 march 2020) he didn’t turn back. I called today 9 march 2020 at 12.10 pm and got a surprising answer from him, he didn’t even have 0% care for my concern he told that he could not see the mat in the screen shot, so he is telling the mat is not present while the car came for service. I got frustrated and informed that i am going to raise a grievance on this, and i disconnected the call.
This is unprofessionalism to the core,
1) first, losing the mat while cleaning and a service adviser didn’t take note of it.
2) ignoring the customer by not calling back with proper update, expecting customer to call for the service adviser mistake. Hats off to service advisers’ attitude.
3) even a video evidence with snaps highlighted ignored simply to avoid taking responsibilities of his (Service advisor) mistake, attached the snap shot. Accountability is missing.
4) they didn’t stand by word, when i highlighted the evidence and send it back in whatsapp, he checked and accepted and committed in call that he will check and come up with updates but now he is talking as if he could not see the mat in the snapshot shared. I am attaching the snap shot here for your reference.
The cost of the tailor-made mat is not which triggered me to write up a mail, this is matter of questioning my integrity. The amount of care, transparency, accountability, honesty that i received in bmw ambattur service center is awful. I feel terribly bad for receiving this sort of treatment, this bad experience typically defame my value towards bmw, i am wondering with this kind of experience how could i recommend my favorite brand bmw to any of my friends and family.

I have requested for the test drive of bmw 6 series gt last week but the sales man namely santanu of osl prestige kolkata has denied for that week due to some events going on at guwahati and he will come after the arrival of vehicle, and he has confirm me that he will be giving the test drive today[protected], but he failed to do so. I have contacted him many times but he has no interest in selling the car and he is making the useless excuss that car is under repair it will take a time to get ready. Yesterday[protected] he has said me that he will come tomorrow[protected] at 12:30pm but anyhow today[protected] he saying that sorry sir vehicle is not ready and there is no possibility of test drive to be provided. He is making the excuss because we live near by kolkata. I'm in touch with him from last 20 days and till now is has not able to provide the test drive of cars.
Company should take a necessary action against him so that any other sales representative should not do same.

I am writing this, to document my displeasure on company and the dealer.

I bought an bmw 6 gt 620d luxury line model, 6500 km driven demo car
Invoice no: chn/2019-20/0590. Dated on 22.12 2019.

I was denied of the 5 year free service package that is been given to this model from bmw. And only 3 year free service package was accepted and mentioned in the invoice. But again now the dealer steps back and say he would be giving only 2.5 yrs free service package since its an demo car and used by the dealer since july 2019. This information was not shared to me during the discussion and negotiation of the deal and during the buy.
I feel disappointed and cheated from both bmw and kun exclusive chennai, india.

I am affected by both money and time thinking about this.

Either the car should carry full free service package for five years given from bmw for this model starting from july 2019 to july 2024.
Or
The car should have three years free service package as accepted in the invoice from the date of invoice. That is from december 2019 to december 2022.

This is regarding your my vehicle bmw x5 - mh 15 cd 9594 - photos attached when vehicle was handed over to the driver vismit and also the photos with the damages to my vehicle.

It is such a disgrace to have sent my car to your company — workshop for repairs... You have managed to spoil my vehicle.

My vehicle was sent to the workshop after a lot of follow up by ms. Sujata for the airbag replacement campaign. The vehicle was picked from my residence on the 3rd of december, 2019 it was promised to be delivered within 3 to 5 working days. On not hearing from the workshop infinity for about 10 to 12 days when we called and enquired, we found out that the vehicle was not worked upon till the 20th of dec. On further follow up calls we were informed that the part was not available and it is going to be shipped from germany. The dealer - workshop booked our appointment and kept our vehicle without having the part. Complete unprofessionalism.

The vehicle was then diagnosed by the workshop for further repairs and service, which we never requested. We had not confirmed any of these diagnostics charges to be paid or their approval to carry out any further work.. The vehicle was sent for the airbag replacement campaign on the 3rd of december 2019. The vehicle was not repaired as the required part was not available till the 20th dec and was still to be received from the company i. E. Still to be received from germany. The mail we received for was for estimate of the other repairs for the diagnostics. There was no information regarding the vehicle being ready for delivery.

We were informed via email on the 4th jan, 2020 that the vehicle was ready for deliver and if they do not receive the go ahead for the repairs they would charge us the rentals for parking from 27th dec onwards.

On the 4th of jan, 2020 we asked them to deliver the vehicle. On further discussion with the advisor on the following day for the delivery of the vehicle, we were informed that the vehicle is damaged and said that it is not possible to deliver the vehicle.

I was disturbed and also immediately asked them to repair the same as well as send me a replacement car.

The advisor does not recall our conversation and denies our demand for the same.

Anyways we have even written the same in our mails and clarified that we have requested a replacement car for the period of delay caused as well as inconvenience caused.

The question of paying for any diagnostic charges does not arise but i shall pay the same as per your demand.

I will surely be charging you for the delay caused at your end and the rental for the car since the 4th of january 2020. We will be charging our rental rs 5000/- per day till the date of delivery and repairs. As you have mentioned in your mail the vehicle will be ready on the 15th i. E. 11 days which will be rs 55000/- plus gst. Please note and pay the same.

We shall sue your company in the consumer court for my losses.

Bmw is spoiling its brand image with such unprofessional behaviour.

Hope a wiser cousel prevails on your self and your management.

Sir, my name is selvarani, i i have received amail that said, i won bmw lottery award winning prize is 3 crore 60 lakhs rupees in indian money, they asked me to pay 21500rs for registration fees? I am a poor person., i can't afford to pay for the registration, i don't know where to find good information about this. Could you help me with this situation?

I own the above mentioned car last 4 year and well maintained at faridabad service centre on regular intervals. Last 4 days back car met accident and got damaged from rear, it was a surprise to hear the reply that faridabad service centre dont have the spares & it will take 25 days to arrange.
Can bmw india explain me the reason of such condition?

Dear bmw india,
You guys make wonderful cars and now as such i am a proud owner of your x4 xdrive 30d, which is worth a tonne of money. Further we understand that bmw will deliver what it promises.

Now a confusion may have arisen where in, previous to booking of the car, we were told that it will come with a display key, and even the catalogue specifications, forwarded to us by mr pankaj contains, the display key as standard parameter. Please refer to the attachment. It is on record that this specification catalogue was send to my whatsapp no. [protected], and i still have it.
The feature was confirmed by mr. Pankaj sharma (Krishna automobiles chandigarh) to us when we were floating queries to him.

Now as such we do not treat that mr pankaj has concealed anything and he may have delivered as per bmw policy, but it came to us as a rude shock that the bmw display key now does not feature as a part of the car anymore.
Since, the car we purchased was not readily available with the dealer, and it came through prior booking, we remained obvious of the above fact or other wise we may have chosen another car.
You can be proud o[censored]s, as you should ask mr. Pankaj that we did not even visit his outlet, and the complete communication, from booking, to full payment in advance, and then only subsequently delivery was taken.
Such is the assurance that brand bmw carries, and germans, have a knack for delivering the highest quality in addition to customer satisfaction.

Now i take this opportunity, not to blame either the dealership, or bmw within its right, not to give a display key, at any stage, but i request that this display key should be provided to us as a special case < as the confusion arose due to sharing of this specification chart and based upon our earlier queries with regard to special features that come with car, and this display key was exhibited to us as your unique selling point, during marketing of this car.

I have a bmw gt car registered under registration number mh14 eu 8811 in the name of mrs. Snehal atul shinde. The registration certificate of the same is attached for your perusal. I am extremely dissatisfies with your dealership at bawaria motors, hadapsar, pune, maharashtra, india. My bmw gt car was drowned in floods that had occured recently in maharastra. I had sent the vehicle to the dealership for insurance claim settlement. At time of delivering the vehicle to the insurance company by the dealership, i was told that it has accrued a charge of around 40000 inr for the services we have provided. After asking further details for the same, i was told that they have provided the insurance company with a repair estimate and for the same they are charging 40000 inr. I have few querries here : 1. Every time when ever i send my car for a regular service, any repair, damage claim, etc i am always provided with a detailed estimate for the same which is never charged by the dealership, no matter i get my car repaired from them or i get it done from any other dealership. 2. Even if in case the cost of just providing a repair estimate to the insurance company is 40000 inr, i as a consumer am having full rights to be informed in advance for the same, a consent for the same should be take by me and then the services should be provided. 3. When the whole world was there to help the people effected by floods, your dealership was still there forgetting the humanity clause and claiming their charges stating that we also have our costs that need to be fulfilled. Anyways, just to avoid the delay in delivery of the vehicle, i was forced to agree to pay the charges, which in turn i immediately paid to your dealership. Even after payment of charges immediately the delivery was delayed for 2 more days stating that bmw vice president is visiting the dealership and it is not possible for us to provide the delivery. I adjusted with that also, but even after two days of making the payment, the delivery was given on 18th of november 2019, they didn’t deliver the vehicle completely. The set of keys was not delivered to the person. He was assured by the staff of bawaria motors, that we are unable to find the set of keys and we will courier it to your address tomorrow morning (19th november 2019). Till date the keys have not been delivered. Neither the staff is picking and replying the calls. I have also mailed the dealership for the same but they have not yet replied the mail also even after sending two reminder mails for the same.

I feel extremely sad because it takes years to build a brand like bmw and just few minutes to shatter the faith. I request you to kindly look into the matter immediately and sort it out.
