BMW India — Fault in bmw x1

Dear sir,
I have a bmw x1. While i was driving the car in the rain and it suddenly stopped. Then it was towed to the company service centre. As per the service centre there was a fault in the digital diesel electronic module (Dde) because of rain. They gave me an estimate of approx. 2.25 lacs. My car is fully insured and the insurance company is denying my claim. I expected a car from a company like bmw to handle rough wether with more agility. My concern is that i want the fault to be rectified at the earliest either paid by insurance company or bmw.

I have a BMW X1 registration No. HR 26 BT 6751.While I was driving the car in the rain and it suddenly stopped. Then It was towed to the Company Service Centre., Bird Automotive Gurgaon. As per the service centre there was a fault in the Digital Diesel Electronic module (DDE) because of rain. They gave me an estimate of Approx. 2.25 Lacs. My car is fully insured and the insurance company is denying my claim. I expected a Car from a Company like BMW to handle rough wether with more agility. My concern is that I want the fault to be rectified at the earliest either paid by Insurance Company or BMW.
