I had registered for their Plus service for Rs 1000. And I also paid another 1000 of shortlisting of maid. Both services were fully refundable, if not used. I have written a multiple times to them requesting for refund they haven't responded. Pls help.

    Was looking for a nanny. In order to shortlist the nannies the site asked to pay refundable amount of 1000. However I am unable to get in touch with them, as there are no contact details.

      Bookmybai charged Rs. 25000 upfront for sending full-time help. The person they sent was not interested in the job and left after 3 days.

      They said a replacement will be provided within 3-4 days. It's been more than a month of constantly following up, there is no assistance besides bot-like messages ‘we are working on your request’ or ‘we will update you soon’.

      I’ve dealt with a very unprofessional team - Saniya and a certain Rohan -who has never bothered to even respond. 

The worst part is they will not refund the money taken (calling it company policy), even if they have not provided the service!!!

        Got following confirmation SMS, after paying Rs1000(refundable) for getting a house help on urgent basis

        Now neither they are answering my calls nor replying my emails.

            I paid the advance money of rs. 1000 for getting deatils of maids in Pimple Saudagar. It asked me about my requirements and then listed aome maids from my location which i shortlisted 5. Then they called and told that there is no in person interview possible. And that they will refund the amount paid. Now they are not answering phone calls and not replying to whatsapp msgs.

              I hired them to provide a maid early this year. The maid came and very next day she asked for 1000 advance, said she want to leave as her father in law expired. Pavitra told me to give her the money. I gave her the money and she came back in a day. Then she worked for a month and one fine morning she said she had to leave as her mother was serious. She took Rs 10000 advance along with my son's clothes (without my knowledge) and left. She never came back. When I spoke to Sachin about this, he was blaming us for not checking our bags. We are also human beings, when someone leaves in an emergence situation we can only be humane and not stop her for bag checks. Now I have been asking for a replacement since mid this month, no luck. I shortlisted 4 profiles, the co-ordinater Pavithra hasn't even made an effort to schedule a call even with one candidate but instead keeps pulling up silly excuses citing maid's family is not willing to let work etc.,

              They are refusing to provide a refund either. They don't do background checks on any of their maids. They call them trained helpers when they provide zero training. When questioned, Sachin had the nerve to explain that experienced and trained are the same, they don't provide any training to the maids themselves. They wouldn't make any effort to get that money back from the maid either even after sending them the screen grabs of the payments made.

                I was promised maid will be sent immediate next day after payment. i took interview of the maid and finalised her. Salary was also finalised.
                So i paid on 6th September and the maid had to join on 7th September at 10 am. However, on 7th i waited till 11 am and no one came. after a lot of follow up with Book My bai person Ms. Mittal i was informed that the maid was not well and sleeping. thereafter the maid said she will not join as she finds the salary low!
                So now i am in a position where my money has been taken by Book My Baai and i have no maid of my choice. I am requesting for a refund but no revert. so now i am forced to either choose a maid who does not fit my requirement or my money is LOST. this is completely unprofessional, unacceptable and almost fraudulent to take money and then just not respond. now i am not even getting any profiles so you guys have just taken my money and sitting tight.
                I demand an immediate refund of my money.

                  Mr Anupam sinhal, I'm quite astonished at the audacity with which you are continuously backing up such a fraudulent company. It is completely out in the open with so many dissatisfied customers, yet you continue to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to all the complaints, and in turn keep justifying yourself and blaming the clients themselves. I reached out to bookmybai 8 months back. Firstly, within two days, the maid opened up regarding how she was made to lie regarding her personal details. Secondly, , she kept getting calls from the agency asking if she has quit so that she can be placed elsewhere. Thirdly, the maid continued to stick around just so that she can steal things from our house. She ran away with a gold chain and never showed up again. This is how trusted and reliable your maids are. If you really are genuine, kindly better your services so that innocent people are not harassed mentally, emotionally and financially!

                    DO NOT GO FOR ANY SERVICE FROM BOOKMYBAI AS THEY ARE FRAUDS AND NOT RELIABLE. THEY DO NOT HAVE QUALIFIED BABYSITTERS AND THEY CHEAT PEOPLE BY TAKING ADVANTAGE IN THEIR DIFFICULT TIME. PLEASE INFORM YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY ABOUT THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

                    Rs.18000 FRAUD ALERT!!

                    I am writing after repeated follow ups and extreme emotional and financial distress that Bookmybai has put me through.
                    This is the most bogus company and lacks any values that it claims to have on its website.
                    They just want to take money from you and will not take any accountability of any service they are providing you. Just read their terms and conditions, they do not commit to any responsibility.
                    They failed to provide the very first maid and therefore their contract became void. They are not giving my money back Rs.18000 and make false claims of sending someone I need even after 2 months.

                    @BookmyBai team - you guys are cheap, irresponsible and unprofessional who willingly commit fraud and take advantage of people who are in difficult situation and dependent on their pathetic services.
                    Special Mentions:
                    Sachin: Extremely spineless, unprofessional, lethargic and painful person to work with.

                    We were happy with our current arrangement with a maid working for 9 am-6:30 pm.
                    Maid 1:
                    Due to my personal needs, I wanted a full time maid and only after confirmation from Anita Durga (the 1st maid assigned), I went ahead and let go off my existing baby sitter.
                    Anita Durga cancelled quoting personal emergency without even meeting us. This led to a situation without any babysitter.

                    Maid 2:
                    Then they assigned Roopa. Her profile picture doesn't match her self. I adjusted with that too. She left overnight again quoting personal emergency. The payment was done as they Bookmybai shamelessly takes money as advance. So this doesnt count as maid allotment since she dint even stay.

                    Maid 3:
                    Kavya was assigned as a stop gap arrangement and she left too saying some personal emergency. This shows the maids are not verified and with zero experience of taking care of a baby.

                    When we needed a full time maid, I was going through a personal situation and also I had to manage a 1.5 year old daughter. I am made to go through this trauma of not having anyone to take care of my child even after paying so much money.

                    Bookmybai told that they will not refund and kept on telling that they will provide babysitter.

                    My requirement started from 14th July, 2021 and till date the team has not sent anyone which suited our needs.

                      Bookmybai bangalore team with Pavitra (new con names) earlier it was Padma they made me pau 21k immediately for a cooking and cleaning maid.the maid s name s devi Bai from hospital.the agency did not give any time to demo or test maid.within half an hour maid lost interest in working for us.agency playing delaying tactics when I asked to refund the money.this company and maids are all frauds.please refund my money

                      There is no response other than saying your refund will be done tomorrow at 11 am, today EOD etc.They are bunch of frauds..Pavithra M, Sachin Jake, Manoj Saw, Rohan Despande as you can see the names are all fraud names.The maid name Devi Bai was also fraud.Within half an hour of making urgent payment, the maid suddenly lost interest in work .This is the fraud company which is opened by Anupam Sinhal, Vikash ChoWdhary who themselves are frauds.Yesterday they tried diverting the call to some Amit Pandey saying he will take care that my refund is done by 11 am today.A bunch of frauds..All of them should be jailed.

                        This company just takes money and is not able to provide any maid, they just duped us of 21000 rs, the maid that they sent went without informing when we were sleeping.
                        Very fake company and just looting people's money in broad daylight.
                        No proper response, cheating all as found out now on the review website.
                        I can see this company working even after so many comsumer complaints.
                        Is this company giving some money to Indian consumer compalints department. I am putting mumbai office address as that only available but i have problem in bangalore agency.

                          I booked a cook from the website bookmybai, and i replaced 1 aftrrbthat they only gave me contact of another one who stays far away from my place, it’s not her fault!! If you cant provide cook near by my place you don’t have to fool your customer and take money from them in advance!! Atleast you should have shorlisted 5-6 cook after that you should have contacted me!!

                          First thing you have options to fill!! I asked for gujrati n marwadi cook, , they provided me someone else who doesn’t even know how to cook roti!! That’s the basic a person can expect!!

                          And aftrr she left, , they doesn’t even try to contact me!!
                          Kindly refund my money back!!

                            I am writing this review to highlight the unethical behavior of the organization Bookmybai. They claim they make on their website is far removed from reality.

                            Let me state the chain of events in chronological order:

                            Early March, 2020: I made my first payment of Rs. 1000 to fast-track my maid search. I was finally given a coordinator (Initially Pavitra, and then Sheefa) on the 13th of March.
                            Soon after, the pandemic and lockdown started, and Bookmybai mentioned that there is no supply of maids.

                            18th May, 2020 - I got a message saying that Bookmybai is operational and got back in touch with Sheefa to ask for status.

                            25th May, 2020: I again asked for an update, but got no response. i had already paid Rs. 1000 for a fast-tracked process, but I couldn't find any difference in the paid plan.

                            17th Aug, 2020: Because of increased workload at office and due to personal health issues, we were really in need of a household help. I messaged again on 17th and made Bookmybai aware that we had opted for the paid plan, and that we are waiting for some response. The service charges had changed, and I was asked to pay Rs. 20, 000 + 18% GST. I was also said that the maid shall charge Rs. 15k, but the service charges were increased because of the pandemic. Technically, I should have been given the older pricing since I had made an initial payment before the pandemic, but Bookmybai team folks were adamant. I had to pay the revised fees itself.

                            Till 8th Sept, 2020: There were intermittent conversations regarding safety issues, and we still didn't get any maid.

                            9th Sept, 2020: Finally, we were shared the link of a maid named Manju. (www.bookmybai.com/manju/175526). Given it was the middle of the day, I couldn't connect. By the end of the day when I called, I was mentioned that she has already been selected, and is no longer available.

                            15th -17th Sept, 2020: Another maid called Murugammal was shortlisted, and we were mentioned that she has 5 years of experience, and 2 years have been through Bookmybai. She had a salary expectation of 17-18, 000, which we were not comfortable with. There is always some space for negotiation, and we asked Bookmybai to finalize at Rs. 16k which they agreed. I was said that the maid shall join only after I pay the entire service charge. I was also mentioned that that police verification has not been done (which is something I expected, given the steep service charges). I was mentioned that I have to do the police verification of my own, which I finally had to agree. I made the payment, and the Whatsapp group Bookmybai/555892 was created, where Jake (team leader) was added. He confirmed that the service charges were for 6 months (first shock) and for 3 replacements of maids. Those replacements were subject to the fact that she is fine to start work with us and suits our requirements (police verification, background check, etc.). I made the payment of Rs. 23, 600 on 17th Sept.

                            18th Sept, 2020: The maid Murugammal after joining was not fine with salary. The agreement letter mentioned a salary of Rs. 16k, but she was expecting Rs. 19-20k. When we said that we had only agreed for Rs. 16k, she was not okay. She kept talking on her mobile phone trying to keep that hidden from us, but since we have security camera at home, we were able to see the same. Eventually, she said that she won't be able to continue unless we pay Rs. 19k. Then we mentioned that there was some misunderstanding with Bookmybai, because we had already mentioned the team that we can pay only Rs. 16k. She was unwilling to work, and we asked your Boomybai to provide a replacement. We did have a conversation with the Bookmybai representative along with the maid, (which we recorded as evidence) where the maid mentioned that she had no idea about Bookmybai, and that she only came to know about this company before 2 days. The whole premise on the basis of which we decided to go for this maid was the fact that she had been employed through Bookmybai for 2 years. This is how Bookmybai operates. They create a false profile of an individual, and coerced me to make the payment. Now that my money was with them, I was forced to take their service (up to 3 replacements) and there is no way to opt for a refund based on the false promise made by them. But since my money was already stuck with Bookmybai, I thought to go ahead with them.

                            19th - 28th Sept, 2020: Multiple conversations happened but nothing materialized. I was said that refund was not possible, and I can only be given credit note. Bookmybai team (Jake and Sheefa) agreed to the mistake that happened while the scrutiny of the maid was being done, and I was promised another replacement without considering this maid as one of the 3 promised replacements. I was said that I had to get another individual to get the funds. I was also said that a refund was not possible. I had enquired before payment on the status of refunds, to which Jake mentioned that the same was handled by a different team and he shall get back to me about the same. To my repeated questions, Jake said that refunds is a possibility, but it rests with a different team. He didn't give a direct answer to my question (dodgy replies), and since I wanted a maid at home I went ahead with the payment. Now when I asked for a refund on the basis of the lie, I was assured multiple times of being provided a reliable maid. I was left with no option, but to opt for another maid. I was said that background verification was done, but no such thing was happening. I doubt if there was any due diligence being done while shortlisting a maid on Bookmybai. It seems any random person with a good story can start getting jobs through this portal.

                            29th Sept, 2020: I was mentioned that I was not getting a maid for the salary I had initially agreed to pay (16k). Maids were available, but they were not willing to go for a salary of Rs. 16k. I was said that the right maid will take time, and I was promised a replacement by the first week of October. I was ensured that the same fiasco won't happen again, and a proper background check shall be done.

                            3rd - 10th Oct, 2020: We were shared a profile on 3rd October (www.bookmybai.com/swapna/192833), which we were not okay with. By 5th of October, she was taken by someone else. Frustrated by the situation, we decided to increase our budget and get the right candidate since I was repeatedly said that multiple candidates were available but not for my budget of 16k.

                            10th - 15th Oct, 2020: We got a profile of a lady named Natasha Rana (DOB 09/09/1994 as per Aadhar). We were said that she had 2 sons, and the elder son was in PU (Or 12th class), and younger son was 12 years old. How old do you think the older son would be, when her mother is born in 1994? This was a very misleading number, but we decided to go for her. At our society premises, the lady Natasha was asked to provide 2 reference numbers for emergencies (since she was a full time maid), and the references are recorded. Both the numbers were invalid. She didn't have the number of her brother with whom she was staying in Bengaluru. She didn't have the numbers of her previous clients as well. However, one number of her friend was correct, and after verification, she was allowed into the society. As we had mentioned to Bookmybai, we disclosed to the maid that we shall be doing the police verification (We found her story to be fraudulent. Given the due diligence of Bookmybai team, we had to take matters in our hand.). She got scared upon hearing of police verification and mentioned that she was never informed of this from the Bookmybai team. However, bookmybai team mentioned that they had conveyed all details to the candidate.

                            16th - 20th Oct, 2020: She was very unwilling to work when we mentioned about police verification. On 20th afternoon, she complained that she was having a fever and body ache. Those were not something that we could overlook, given the pandemic. We called back your team and they asked a couple of questions about her health. Given her unwillingness to work, unwillingness to consult a doctor (which we would have paid for), and showing symptoms of Covid19 it wouldn't have been sane for us to continue with her service. (We were still considering on not doing a police verification, but she herself said that she won't continue anymore). The same day (20th Oct), she left our house.

                            21st Oct - 6th Nov: We tried reaching out to Bookmybai, but they were very busy looking for candidates suiting our requirements. When we reach out to the team, they have only those candidates available which we do not suit our requirements. For eg., when we ask for a 24-7 candidate, Bookmybai had only full-day candidates. When we ask them to search for a 10hr or 12hr candidate, they have 24-7 ones only. When we are fine with either of them, and even up to the salary requirements, they say that candidates are unavailable because of the festive season. When my friend reached out to enquire about the availability of maids (a similar requirement as mine), they said that they have good availability of maids for BLR. However, when I call and ask, they said that it will take some time as they have no maids available due to the festive season.

                              I have paid 6500/- for a maid booking . the maid was supposed to come everyday, but so far only they have come 3 days. And i changed the maid again because the previous maid was having issues with coming regularly at 7am as per our request. The 2nd maid was also having issues at coming at our requested time;7am. I need a refund urgently because this is not acceptable. I have paid 1000/- in the beginning for application charges.
                              Total money i have paid is:- 7500/- . Still they are not cooperating, but i need my refund ASAP.

                                I had paid 1000 rupees to bookmybai for a live-in nanny. they said its refundable if i don't use their service. i didn't use their service & now there's no option to get the refund or even someone to clarify.
