I have already made payment to them from my hard earned money in october 2018.

Following mail was sent to the firm.
They are now accusing me only that you rejected maid's sent by us. Instead the maids which they send are not interested in working. This only increases the number of candidates sent. Please help me.

I have hired a maid in october 2018 from your so called professional and reputed firm bookmybai online and duly paying all your dues and fees of rs. 10, 000/-. The executive who assisted me during this period was ms. Suvarna and the maid provided was mrs. Vaishali pawar with salary of rs. 10, 000/- per month and timing 11:00 am to 07:00 pm. The maid reported me october & november 2018 with maximum days late coming i. E. By 12:30 and causing inconvenience to us.

Then suddenly she vanished and stopped reporting from december 01, 2018 and on being contacted multiple times she answered call in the evening and informed that she cannot come for the decided timing 11:00 am to 07:00 pm as her children are small and one married daughter would be coming for delivery. So it is only possible for me to come 12:30 pm to 05:00 pm, obviously which was not acceptable to us. As we are a nuclear family and both husband & wife working with my kid being home.

During this period your executive ms. Suvarna also contacted maid and informed me that she is not ready to join back. Ms. Suvarna assured me that she would provide me a replacement soon (Note this all was discussed on 01.12.2018).

Later one maid jayshree came to meet me with lot of reservations to work at my place and informed that ‘okay i will manage’. On the day she was supposed to join my place she brought a replacement (Some sister-in-law) of hers and told me that ‘i have some problem, please adjust her on my place’. The girl she brought was unable to utter a word or properly answer my questions about what her husband do, what her experience is…. Etc… also, ms. Survana informed me that she is having some issue relating to her divorce, hence, she denied to work. During that time i informed ms. Suvarns that please avoid maid with small kid as they take lot of leaves by this excuse.

One other maid was arranged, who stays at pashan, which is roughly 8-10 km away from my place. She denied to work as its too far away from her residence.

Further your so called reputed & professional firm could not arrange any maids for me. This was all going on till 18.12.2018, wherin i was in urgent need of maid. Obviously, i could not sit back and watch all drama. I got a maid from my sources and asked for refund of fees that i paid towards your services (Which anyways not the services but all the stress i got). To that ms. Suvarna told me that we shall issue a credit note of rs. 10, 000/- of your fees and when next time you need a maid we shall definitely arrange a maid for you.

Now, around 12-15 july 2019 when i was in need of maid i contacted ms. Suvarna, however, got no response. Later ms. Sameera contacted me and assured that she shall shortlist candidate and send them. No maids arranged. Then the same made mrs. Jayshree was sent that she can manage. However, again same story, she had lot of concerns and very reluctant to do work and needed all the 4 sundays off (Me being working in psu bank and many a times working without any off days, informed her that she can take 2 offs in month and that too not on sundays, otherwise when can me and her meet face to face. My timings are 9:30 to 8-8:30 in the evening). If she might be efficient then why still unemployed.

One maid vaishali was arranged who was also very reluctant to work and she informed that my main work is of only cooking. She was not at all interested in working at my place

Some of the 1-2 maids were then arranged, one stayed at wagholi (15 km away from my place) as informed, but the maid informed that she stays at bhosari (12 km far from my place) who had small kid and reservations on joining and the other maid who stayed at sangvi (7-8 km from my place) who never turned up. And i don’t know, how they shall manage timings and come from so far.

Then no maid can be arranged by your so called reputed and professional firm. Only after me taking daily follow-up from your executive ms. Sameera (Which also, sometimes she would not answer sometimes) informed that ‘oh that maid did not call you or visit at your place, she is not answering my calls too’ poor lady so sad, i felt like consoling her.

So the following points i would like to highlight about your so called reputed and professional firm is;

1. You guys don’t have hold on the candidates at all.

2. You people don’t meet the candidate face to face, wherein you can get the intensions of the maid.

3. There is no handholding of candidates or induction kind of, of the candidates.

4. Even as i spoke to the maid (Mrs. Vaishali pawar who joined my place in october 2018), she informed that ‘i have never met the agency people and they just contact us via phone.’

5. On again approaching you’re your firm now and when no candidates are made available ms. Sameera informed me that we don’t have a co-ordinator at pune (Again poor lady….) that is none of my problems again. I had a simple problem of finding a maid and that your so called reputed and professional firm and who is running the business for that purpose is not able to solve.

6. The person coming to you already have an maid issue, why harass them further by;

A. Not updating them to their requirement.

B. I already have lot of issues to look after (Which i don’t find it necessary to inform you) and top of that take daily follow-up from your executives.

I don't understand what kind of maids you shortlist, who are very reluctant to work for the given timings, but want all the money and comfort.

Please shortlist maids who are needy and with only needed attitude.

Further, kindly requesting you to refund fees of rs. 10, 000/- paid by me to you for your excellent services as again i shall find maid from own sources (As it is i am doing it, since, again your so called reputed and professional firm is unable to provide me one), because i can’t invest my time, energy and head daily in follow-up with your staff and cannot bear harrasment further.

    I have been forced to write this, because of the harassment that me and my family has been going through post investing in Book My Bai. At this point, we are really sorry we trusted your services.
    Our requirement was of a full time maid who could do cooking, cleaning, clothes and dusting. Below are the issues we have :

    a. Maids are not informed of what all services customer has asked for. There is really no need of filling in all those initial details on your website then. One of the maids told us she cannot work with water, which made us think why she was registered as a maid on the portal in the first place.

    b. We had very clearly informed maids of the work that they will be supposed to do within the given time, and they had agreed. One of the maids, Chaaya, had gone out to meet her relatives for 4 hours once, and later informed the agency that she has been working for 12 hours. She told my mother in law within a week of joining that we must search another maid because our location is too far off for her to travel. She asked us questions like is cooking dinner really necessary? Why wont two parathas suffice?
    Really? I could not help but feel ridiculed in the entire process.

    c.The third and the most interesting incident is for maid - Tulsi, who had come for interview on Sunday, was even more clearly explained on her work and responsibilities. She agreed to come at 7.30 am today. We agreed to release Chaaya, paid her amount for 20 days. Next day, Tulsi did not come. Her phone was switched off, and we could get in touch with somebody who was handling her phone at 9 am. This guy tells us that the time we quoted was too early (7.30 am), which is why tulsi could not come, and how she had to finish her own work too. Should we really be discussing all this? We had asked a simple question, if she will be able to come, on which she had said yes.

    The most disturbing fact for me right now is the amount of 12k which I have paid to Book My Bai for their services. And your team in Mumbai - Sameera & Amit have stopped taking calls & don't reply to messages. Our expectation is that if we have paid this amount, you guys would ensure not one day goes without a maid, and you would ensure least involvement from our end.The overall experience for me has not been any different than if I would have not paid somebody to do all this for myself.

    My mother in law is a patient, and it has been a harrowing experience for us all to deal with all this.
    Pls sort this out, else refund the amount which you have taken for your services

      no maid replacement and not returning money

      We approached bookmybai for nanny services and they were prompt to bring a nanny for interview. We liked the candidate and confirmed if she has any constraints and would work for at least 6 months. Post her confirmation we went ahead and paid the agency 1 month of her salary + gst.

      The nanny joins next day but keeps on getting offers from bookmybai to join somewhere else with better salary and then from 2nd day itself she starts...

      I paid the 1000 rupee booking amount to them to find the maid urgently, which they did. I had asked for a full time maid to care for an elderly person. They insisted that i pay the agency charges which amounted to 17700, which i did. The maid they provided was extremely unprofessional and not fit enough to do basic household work for which she was hired. They lied to me about her age, saying that she was under 35 as per my request, but it turned out she was 42 and had knee problems.

      While she was okay for the first two weeks, after that she became extremely lethargic and eventually completely careless and abusive towards the elderly person. Soon she started demanding that we release her as she was not interested in continuing. She had not even completed one month. We requested her to stay till a replacement is found, but she did not.

      Since 10 days we are struggling without a maid. I was left with no option but to follow up with the agency by calling their numbers. The service personnel were extremely rude and really did not care about solving the issue. After a few days they found a replacement who came in the evening and having done no work at all, decided that she would not continue from the next morning onwards. When i contacted the agency, they had no answer and immediately put up the fact that they will take upto 15 days to find a replacement as stated in their agreement.

      As mentioned by so many others, this is a common problem that customers of book my bai find themselves in. The company is only bothered about making money and not providing good service. They make tall claims on their website, but the minute you examine the agreement, most of the things they say are not given in writing. This was a cause of concern which i overlooked and am paying for now.

      Once you pay the money, they will slowly reduce the amount of service they provide and also the politeness of conversation. They have extremely unprofessional telecallers who do not know how to talk to customers. The case worker, pavithra, was on leave almost every time i called them. The manager, manoj, was extremely clueless and i had to tell him to take some action against the lethargic behaviour of his employees, which he never did. He promised to message me the numbers of the case worker but did not.. When i called a few days later to ask why he had not sent me any updates, his tone was extremely rude and abhorrent.

      I have already paid the agency and they will clearly refuse a refund because of their agreement. I advise all those considering paying book my bai for their services to reconsider their decision. The chances of finding reliable maids are not enhanced even a little bit, the only thing that is enhanced is the bank balance of book my bai.

        Paid rs.5900 and got a cook. The cook left within 3 months. As per the terms and conditions - they should provide a replacement cook within 15 days. It's been a month and they havent sent anyone.in another instance, paid rs.1000 as a refundable deposit to shortlist the maid. I cancelled that order and calling them for refund of rs.1000. They avoid my calls. It's a daylight scale.

          Worst company, worst service! They took 11, 800 for a maid who did a no show on day 3, provided me another whose documents they did not have, then provided an old lady who could barely listen or understand what i was saying.
          I am so furious with the people i dealt with.
          Now they say they can't refund my money!
          I seriously want to sue them.
          Can anyone help!

            We opted for bookmybai service for a full time babysitting maid. We were sent 4 maids for interview proccess and of which we selected one maid based on clear verbal agreement about the daly work schedule. We paid 11800 to bookmybai on the very 1st day as requested by them and walkthrough the daily work schedule as discussed with maid.
            However, the next day (2nd day onwards) maid stopped coming without any information and response to even calls made to her on mobile. She later informed that it was due to medical reasons and told that she would come back for sure the next day. Also the maid said she was very keen to work with us for a long term. We waited for the maid, however she didn't turn up. After few days of wait and repeated reminders, the agency sent another maid, whom we selected. The maid came for discussion again and after briefing about the work schedule the maid confirmed that she is ready and will come next day onwards. However, the maid didn't turn up. Upon contact with agency we were told to check for another maid. We were sent another maid whom we felt were not complying with the work schedule so we didn't opt her. Later we were told to check if any of the maids we interviewed earlier were ready to come again. We told them very clearly that we want a maid who could follow our work schedule which was discussed since the day one and if there is no maid available, there is no point of charging money for anything.
            After calling the agent sneha (From bookmybai) we requested for refund considering that we were not hired a maid post day 1 itself as it was already a delay of more than a week after payment and no maid was available for work.
            We were however told that refund would not be possible.

            We waited for few more days post which we interviewed another couple of maids and made it very clear and precise to both bookmybai coordinator and maid about the tasks for which she is getting paid for. The maid was willing to work and joined us on the next day of selection.
            The maid worked for around 5-6 days and did not turn up further without notice. We tried to call dropped message to maid and also called bookmybai but no response from anywhere.

            In short there was no maid service made available to us. The maid provided to us did not turn up without any reasons. While we were keen to employee the maid for a long period, the maid who worked for 1 or 5 days did not trun up showing utmost irresponsible attitude while working in a family.

            You as agency have failed to fulfill your services which are paid in advance and have neglected and in satisfying the customer. We as customer have been suffering due to engaging you as service provider and paying you in advance our hard earned money. Your this attitude is most unethical, non-courteous and calls for serious action.

            We can provide the details of maid given to us and contact details from the coordinator from bookmybai.

            This is to send an intimation of your failure to provide us the services for which you have been paid by us. We will refer the matter to the consumer guidance society and file complaint with consume court.

              I am from jaipur and i paid the initial 1000 which is required rupees to get interviews with maids. My mother wanted a maid urgently. Later, i didn't get any calls and they told me that they don't have service in jaipur. I tokd them to refund the 1000rupees. They said they have initiated the refund a week ago. I didn't get any message of any kind or refund. The customer care always hangs up on me. I hope this fraud vompany is shut down. I will do my best.

                I have already raised a complaint against BookMyBai on National Consumers Helpline to which they have provided scripted response that they will give replacement but they are refusing refund.
                I am filing a case against BookMyBai in Consumers Forum Court.
                I was not aware of this site and of so many complaints against them.

                I registered with Book My Bai and posted requirement for maid on 26th November 2018. An 'executive' was appointed to me (not mentioning the name here).
                I was asked for my budget, which I stated as 6000 INR and was asked to shortlist maids.
                I was contacted by them, but they refused to provide one of the short-listed maids. BMB 'executive' sent two maids who demanded 10, 000 INR for the listed work.
                Later, the 'executive' skillfully made me increase my budget to 7000 INR. A maid was sent, to whom I gave the tour of the house and explained work to the maid; she agreed to work, and I made the payment to Book My Bai (one month salary of the maid + GST as per their policy, which amounts to 8260 INR). The maid worked for a couple of days and then started complaining about the work (even though the work had already been explained to her earlier); The 'executive' informed me that she would provide replacement for the maid. She sent a few maids, they agreed to work but never showed up. A few maids sent demanded 8000 INR for the work. Apart from the financial loss of 8260 INR, this experience with Book My Bai has caused me tremendous mental stress.

                It took me a while to realize that perhaps it had been a tactic from day one to increase my budget and then provide a maid who would complaint about the work in couple of days and then pretend to provide replacements. I was duped of 8260 INR and since then it has been a downhill journey.

                The 'executive' started ignoring my calls. After raising complaint on National Consumers Helpline I sent email to Book My Bai as instructed by NCH executive. Book My Bai did not reply to my email.

                A week after supposedly providing me maid on 1st December, I was contacted by another 'executive' of Book My Bai for survey, asking me whether I was satisfied with the maid. It means that the complaint was not officially mentioned anywhere on their servers, the person who sent me message on WhatsApp was unaware that the maid provided by Book My Bai was not working at my place. It was after mentioning the NCH complaint to this 'executive', Book My Bai took note of my complaint on NCH portal and wrote a scripted response on the portal but did not reply to my email. I wrote an email to them again mentioning I was not satisfied with their solution, messaged the other 'executive' on WhatsApp but both my attempts to communicate were ignored.

                I informed them that I would be taking the matter to next level by filing a case against them in Consumers Forum Court, but I was ignored. Book My Bai perhaps assumed that I was bluffing and was not serious about filing the case.
                When I mentioned the proper address of the Court where I would be filing a case, I received an email from Book My Bai mentioning that they are willing to give me credit note but would not be able to refund the amount as such. Credit Note means that I would have to take services of Book My Bai again. After going through such mental trauma, it is out of question that I would be using their services, which, I am sure even they are aware of. This is nothing but an attempt to put a lid on the concerned issue. My further attempts to contact the other 'executive' on WhatsApp have been ignored (messages not read), he ignored my calls as well. Email to Book My Bai have been ignored as well. My attempts to contact them on Social Media also did not yield any result. Book My Bai decided to ignore me as if I am nothing but garbage to them.

                I never wanted the matter to escalate to this level BUT, I have to take this step so that what has happened to me does not happen to anyone else. I want my refund, that is truth but most importantly I want justice, I want Book My Bai to know that they cannot take consumers for granted. After going through the mental trauma, I want to be able to sleep peacefully at night knowing that justice prevailed, and Book My Bai learned their lesson.

                I have given many chances to Book My Bai. I wish to put it out in words on this portal that I am taking them to the Consumers Forum Court.

                  Before making the payment, Bookmybai.com negotiated to below in spite of their policy:
                  1. They agreed for a charge of Rs. 4000 Plus 18% GST and we maid the payment of Rs. 4, 720
                  2. They also agreed to give a replacement when we shift our house within city within 6 months.

                  Now while making the agreement they are not agreeing on these 2 point and asking us to sign on wrong agreement.

                    They are one of the most horrible company that you can come across in recent times. The cook stopped coming after 4 months after which for a month i rigorously followed up to get replacement without luck. The managers and escalation contacts avoid your calls. The team is incompetent. They said at present they don't have any cooks but it has been more than a month without updates. Such poor customer service. Till the time they take money from you, they play well and later they don't care.

                      I made the payment of 1000/- on 4 the dec for a cook/ maid. No maid/ cook was provided to me, so i asked for refund of the amount i paid earlier.
                      But there is no response from bookmybai.com.
                      They are not informing anything, neither they are giving any reference number nor any particular date of refund.

                      Very pathetic service.

                      Seems like they are a fraudulent company making money by looting customer.
                      Pl help me to get back my refund amount of rs 1000/-

                        I got a cook from bookmybai in bangalore and i paid the full amount to the company. The cook stopped coming within a week of joining without any notification. I contacted bookmybai for a replacement as per their policy but they have not responded yet. I have been trying to connect with them for the past two weeks but no response. I would like my money fully refunded given the absolute irresponsible & unfair behaviour of the company.

                          We opted for this agency service for a full time maid. Paid 12000 as agency fee which is “non refundable” by the way.
                          From the day we hired this agency till date we had to change not less than 7-8 maids.
                          Every time we would inform the agency of our same requirements & they would send a maid which would leave in 2 days.
                          Every new maid would not show up for 2 days then come for 2 days and disappear. This cycle has repeated 7-8 times now or even more. Also one a maid would leave we have to continuously followup with the agency to atleast get in touch with them because their point of contact person “maria” would never ever pick up the calls. I have message proof for that as well. Once we got in touch then they would send a maid for interview after 2-3 days who would eventually leave. I have even dropped an email to this company in the very early stage of signup to refund the money but they refused and totally ignored my email. Because of no show of maids we had to carry out all the work and there has been a huge loss to health as well as loss of time & money.

                          Also i would like to add that the agency asked for salary of the maid for 1 day of trial too which was never informed.
                          What has the agency taken their fee for? Just to earn interest out of it? I will call this a mere case of fraud as the expected terms that were set by the company themselves were not at all met.

                          I would like to bring to the notice of the company that rhis will be now taken to the consumer court as we have been mentally and physically harassed.

                          Even I have faced similar situation (have been conned by Book My Bai) and I intend to take them to The Consumers Forum Court (The Consumers Disputes Redressal Forum).
                          At the end of your complaint you have stated that you intend to do the same. Did you?
                          Did it yield any positive result?
                          I have lodged complaint against them on this site as well as National Consumer Helpline website but they are not taking me seriously.
                          I told them I am filing a case against them in court but they seem least bothered by it. For them, even the justice system made for consumers mean nothing.

                          I want them to learn their lesson that they cannot take consumers for a ride.

                          Hi. Also I am facing similar situation. Kindly let me know any further update on the same. I would also like to join and take this up further in case I do not get my refund back.
                          I am also facing the same issue, they took agengy fees before the maid even joined, wherin their website clearly says that payment will be done after maid joins. To our surprise no maid turned up to work ever. Now they are not returning my money, want to take this legal. Please let me know if anyone has gone leagal and what was the result.

                            I was trying to find a maid on bookmybai.com and to shortlist maids on their website, they asked for a ₹1000/- refundable charge (No questions asked). I didn't hire a maid through them, and asked them to refund the amount. They said that they have already initiated a refund and it will take a week for the refund to be processed. It's been over a week and a half, and after many calls the refund isn't transferred to my bank account yet. There are no response to emails and on call they say the same thing.
                            They provided me with a maid who left within one month, the day after taking her salary. There was a previous complaint against this maid, yet they continue to suggest her. When I asked for a replacement for night maid instead of day they refuse to assist. Do not recommend using this service.

                              Almost a month back we got a replacement of a lady who was unable to speak or understand hindi with a girl called rekha in my flat in sjr park vista.

                              Since my wife don't speak or understand kannada this girl started creating stories and connect with her younger brother when i returned from office at around 9.30 pm that some one in her family has meet with an accident and she want to leave the house immediately, being a young girl i denied to send her and then she started nuisance and shouting on us, hence i was forced to call my security and handed over to them so that she do not further create any problem and then i came know from the security that they heard her on phone that she will create some drama when i return from office and leave my house at night.

                              After that i personally spoke to gitanjali, manoj, yogesh but none of them cooperated to take her handover.

                              I agreed to pay whatever you had demanded for your service charge and the payment to the maid considering your professional service but very sad to say that its completely pathetic experience from your agency.

                              As a mentor and supporter to startups i subscribed your service and its 360 degree opposite of that.

                              Please consider this mail as a official hand over of the girl called rekha and we hold no responsibility of the the girl and any of her action in future and any false allegation from her side, she has created hell lot of nuisance and drama in the society and my image.

                                They are frauds. They survive on our 1000 rs given as registration. They fo not respond even once after receiving this one thousand rs. Beware of them. Spread the word against them as much as possible. I had asked elderly care service for my cancer patient mother. They took my one thousand rs and do not pick up my call leave aside providing with the maid service. A dame called geetanjali is their representative for bangalore. She is one of the most unprofessional person i have encountered. They are pahetic. Please do not pay them anything and spread this word as it is.

                                  I wanted to get a maid after i got my second daughter. I booked for a priority service in feb, 2018. Even after several requests, they could not find me a bai. After several times of me calling them up, there was no response from their side.in may, i gave them a mouthful and they got me a maid and promptly took rs12k as service charge with the promise that they will replace if there are any issues. The maid correctly worked for 15 days and she absconded. I have been trying to get in touch with them every day to get me a replacement and all they tell me is there are no maids in my area and i live in a upscale/it hub part of bangalore. Seriously??

                                  Every time they promise and break the promise. Sometimes they even say that the maid is coming today for an interview and she does not come. Sometimes they even put the maid on the conference call and she asks the address and details as if she is just in the main road. I keep waiting for her at home after applying for a holiday and she never comes. Nor does the agency call me up and update about this. When i call the next day, they act as if they are oblivious of the situation and buy some more time. Pathetic service and no regards to what the customer goes through after paying.

                                  My previous maid also complained to us that she gets calls from the agency (Bookmybai) to shift to another place because if she shifts then they get more commission. Such unethical practices are unheard of. They just like to take the consumer for a ride.

                                  Now after so much hassels, i told them to refund the money after deducting charges prorate and they refused to do so. I am seriously thinking to approach the consumer court for the fraud. All they make are promises which are as hollow as their hearts.

                                    I registered on book my bai for a maid in whitefield, bangalore. I am so tired of this girl sheefa assigned to me. She will simply always say that maid will come at this time... Maid will come at that time today... But no one will come... Simply make me wait for 3-4 hrs.. I cant even go out do any of my work. Have to be at home. Taking leave from my office. Is this your service... I am really annoyed by this pathetic service provided by u people. And on top if this she says it is not her responsibility if the maid showed up or not. Well please explain this to me if sending the maid is not your responsibility then why are you charging commission.
                                    If just for interview your employees wont pick up the phone and your maids wont show... Then i don't know if the maid will actually come or not after hiring... U guys will actually cheat take the commission money... And simply stop answering the calls.
                                    Very bad service. Will never go for bookmy bai again
