i ordered a study aterial from www.bookshopofindia.com by online and paid for it with my visa card through your gateway. the price of the book was 20$ and for shipment they charged 13$ more and so total i paid 33$. It is two weeks since i made the payment and upto this date they have not delivered or responded to my mails. on checkig the web i found they are a forged company cheating people. so please appropraiate action against this fraudulent company and make sure to remove them from your gateway. if you can help me in anyway to get back my money or the material delivered, i 'll be greatful to you.

I totally agree that the website is a fraud. No phone response and no email response. BOOKSHOP OF INDIA IS A TOTAL FRAUD>
Why it still exists?
My deal is over US$150 and no response. What a company, and its website shall be seriously and immediately be banned by its government.
FRAUD IS A CRIME.

    Hi all,

    I bought few books online from these on 13th of Jan 2011
    Payment has been already made...
    but i have not received any books from them yet

    can someone help me to take these to consumer court, need guidance please.
    I'm frustrated because of them

    Bookshop of India — fake price

    I Had ordered a book for 300 Rs. But a day after ordering they called and told that yhe price of the book is a hundred rupees more. Is it possible to get the book with the older rate?

      I have brought a book from bookshopofindia.com ten days back.
      still i haven't got the book even though i have informed them via email
      . It's highly regrettable that their customercare team had not contacted me
      so far.I want to know reason for this delay in dispatching the book.
      If response from their side is in this manner I would request for the refund
      of money I spent.So kindly request consumer complaint forum to take notice
      of this matter.

        I have sent one multicity cheque to bookshopofindia.com for purchase of three nos of books and i have placed order as per their criteria. my order no as shown in their websit was BOI 6409. But even after a long two months I have not received their books nor I have eceived any communication fro the website > i seek an immediate intervention from your organisation

        A similar story...they have neither delivered the books nor returned the money.

        The order status does not show history either...so I'm forced to send them emails and don't get a proper reply.

        Terrible place to shop for books. AVOID this place if you don't want to lose your money

        Its strange. I have been buying from bookshopofindia.com since last 3 years and am very satisfied with their service. I get all my order on time. I totally disagree with above 2 complaints.

        uggdiscountboots.com — have not received order

        I ordered 2 pair o[censored]gg boots from this company and they gave me a tracking number. I have not received the boots even though they were ordered Feb 10, 2010. I emailed them and they said that when I received the boots to send them back for a refund. Well, I cant get a refund because I dont have the boots. The tracking number I was provided shows they have been delivered to back to China and have been signed for. I have the USPS looking into it and so far nothing has been resolved. I would not ever do business with them!!!!!!!

        I ordered a book from bookshopofindia.com. (Order no BOI 16614)
        On the website it shows the book has been shipped, but the shipping date has been shown as 09/10/2025
        (the billing date was 22/09/2010). I have sent mails to [protected]@bookshopofindia.com regarding the proper shipping date and approx delivery date. but they have not repiled to even a single mail. I am totally frustated.

        On the contrary, I found the service of bookshop of india quite impressing. I have been buying from them since last 5 years and got no problem with them. I am a bulk buyer and order books quite frequently. I get my orders on time.

        I got my book on time. In fact BOI was life saver for me. I had my exams in march 2014. I could not find the desired book anywhere. Luckily I found one at BOI. They delivered it in flat 2 days time. I owe my good wishes to them. I don't know about experience of others. But I will be their permanent customer now onwards.

        I had ordered 2 books and order no is boi57908. I have not received the books. The customer support no which is[protected] is fake. The guy who picks the phone says his name is raj gaikwad and he does not sells books.

        This is a fake website. Please avoid this bookshop. You will lose your money.

        Dear All, i am also facing dame problem here, really bookshopofindia.com fellow are cheaters we need to through out from the scratch else these type of gaandu's will affect others also, shame on there business relly waste fellows, please dont buy any on from above website,
        If all are complaining against, but what the, consumer officers are doing here, if they are really sincere, they need to ban their business
