I HAD PURCHASED A BOSCH WASHING MACHINE IN JULY 2014 [ UNDER EXCHANGE ], WHEREIN I WAS OFFERED Rs 4000 DISCOUNT AGAINST THE SAME. HOWEVER THE OUTCOME OF THE WASH WAS NOT SATISFACTORY AND SEVERAL VISITS BY EVEN COMPANY PERSONNEL CONFIRMED THE SAME. FINALLY AFTER CONTINUED PERSISTENCE THEY OFFERED TO RETURN MY MONEY BUT THE MACHINE WHICH WAS OFFERED UNDER EXCHANGE WAS NOT RETURNED NEITHER THE MONEY FOR THE SAME.[ Rs 4000]. DESIRABLE RESOLUTION-----REFUND OF MY Rs 4000.

Registered complaint:[protected] We have purchased Bosch front loading washing machine model number WAK20160 from registered vendor, Viveks Limited Chennai and installed on 18th Feb 2015. Within 50 days of purchase an error-18 has occurred in the machine with no water drainage. There has been very minimal use of the machine for the period. The service guy checked and confirmed that there is an issue with the pump and needs a replacement- when questioned on why the pump has failed within such a short period he had indicated that it could be a manufacturing defect on the pump and indicated that the pump will be replaced. Since the product has failed within a 50 day period raises a question and concern on the quality of the product from a trusted brand like Bosch. Though it is covered under the warranty period a replacement of the pump would not be a solution to this.There needs to be an analysis of why the issue has happened and if there are any other malfunctioning parts that could have given rise to this problem. We would require a replacement of the defective washing machine since there is no assurance that there would not be a repeated issue .Kindly look into this and help us on the same.

Dear Sir, This is a customer from Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. We have purchased a DISH WASHER of Bosch make (Model:SMS 40M52EU/03) from your dealer named BHARATH ELECTRONICS & APPLIANCES, 383, 100 Ft. The machine has been very sparingly used that its usage might have been less than 20 times till now.We encountered a starting problem with the machine before four months.We complained to the dealer and service persons several times but to our vain nobody turned up.Frustrated and not withstanding the pressure we directly went to the dealer and asked to book the complaint on[protected] complaint No.[protected]. Adding to our problem nobody turned up or responded till today noon. So, we went personally to the dealer and asked about their lethargic and indifferent attitude towards us.We also challenged the dealer that we will move to consumer's court. To every body's astonishment the service person turned up to our house within the next 15 minutes time.He attended and said that the POWER MODULE of the machine had gone faulty and said that the price of the part would be around Rs.7500/- We are really worried about the issue happened to us. While purchasing the product the dealer did not specifically tell us about the facts regarding the product's sensitivity which the service person informed us.Also when we asked the dealer about installing a power stabiliser while purchasing the machine, he said it was not necessary.Now the service person who came and serviced today said that the power module got corrupted because of non use of power stabilizer. Had the information been rightly told earlier this problem would have been avoided. The indifferent attitude of the dealer towards us has created a negative impression and experience about BOSCH products. Due to wrong propaganda of the product by the dealer just for the purpose of selling and not minding the satisfaction of the customer makes us very much dejected and cheated. We would like to bring this to your notice that such bad incidents do not occur again as we had recommended your product to our friends and relatives who have purchased many of your products. Also we are loosing so much money and time because of the poor life of the spares and wrong suggestion given to us by the dealer. I had purchased, with great pride, Bosch washing machine, model No. WAG162601n101 from authorised dealer at Chennai, 24.10.2012. Though the machine has been functioning very well, I have been complaining from the beginning that liquid (like Comfort) in the central upper tray does not drain, rendering it useless. You will notice, from your records, that on my complaints it was attended to on two occasions, but it was only temporarily rectified and the problem still continues, requiring attention. When I again made my complaint as per No. above, last week, I am informed here that I will have to pay a charge of Rs. 800 to attend it, as the warranty period of 2 years is over (just three months back). You will please appreciate that when the defect/problem is repeatedly brought out and continuing right from the beginning, and it still is continuing, insistence on paid service to attend the same problem, on the plea of expired warranty, is totally not warranted, and is against customer /consumer ethics, & the concept of being mad and proud about great engineering technology. W.r.t. past experience, I am not certain that the said problem will cease to exist, even after the so-called paid service. Should I go on still spending the amount for servicing for the defect noticed from the time of purchase? With the above background, I suggest that the free attention to the said prolonged defect may be done for a further couple of occasions, and if it still persists, I will go in for a new one, at my own cost, and for the same product!. Please reconsider and advise me.

Hello, I am Mrs.Innaciammal baskar as i purchased washing machine of type wag140601n/01 on 11/10/12, As the guarantee of my my washing machine was only 2 years ie.11/10/14. The board( IC) has got damaged so we ordered for a new one and it was attached to the machine. But now the prewash (90*) was not working properly, though many times i complainted, there is no use, please make them to visit and repair it quickly. Thank you.

We purchased a dishwasher about six months ago. On 23rd Oct I faced a problem. I was not able to start the machine. I am not sure why but the water supply light kept blinking but I checked to ensure the water supply is on. So I contacted Bosch customer care on 27th Oct (compliant no.[protected] and requested for help. I was ensured that a technician would come in 24-48 hrs to repair the machine. But after waiting for 2 days when no one turned up I contacted customer care again and requested for the service I was assured that the technician would arrive in next 24 hrs. I had spoken with someone from Bosch several times by phone till date but no one has ever come to repair. No one return my calls or even wants to travel to repair this expensive dish washer. You would think they would read these reviews and do what they could to change people's minds. Good customer service goes a long way. I am based out of Bangalore. If the service is like in B’lore I am just wondering for people living in small cities or town.

Hi, I did biggest mistake of my life by buying Bosch product. This was my first Bosch product and probably would be the last one. I have purchased Bosch double door refrigerator worth Rs. 50, 000/- from Kohinoor Electronics. After one year 2 months it stopped working completely on 2nd Oct 2014 and my misery started. I lodged a complaint with Kohinoor Electronics as well as with Bosch Service Center. I was informed that the service period has ended hence there would be a service charge of Rs. 800/- plus if any product part needs to be replaced the cost of the same would be extra. I agreed to it. After so much of follow-up, finally technicians visited my place on 6th Oct 2014 at 7 p.m. The excess water got clogged in the plastic tray and worms had bred in it (because refrigerator was shut since last five days). This tray is present at the bottom, on the back side of the refrigerator. The technicians who visited my place were not ready to touch the refrigerator. They said, first get that try cleaned and then only we'll check what the issue is. They clearly said it's not their job and it’s not the part of a service. We found their behaviour very strange but as we did not have any option, we cleaned it (the tray is non-detachable hence cleaning it was a awful task which now one would enjoy for sure). After cleaning the tray, technician said the “Relay device” got damaged because of which the refrigerator is completely non functional and the damaged part needs to be replaced. We requested them to replace it ASAP. The technicians who visited my place were from 3rd party company (as Bosch has outsourced their service /maintenance in India). They said they'll lodge a request for that particular part in Bosch warehouse and it will come to them in a day or two. They took service charges of Rs. 800/- and left. I called them next morning on 7th Oct 2014 they said the part will reach them by evening so they'll try to come late evening or else next day morning i.e. 8th Oct 2014. I also called Bosch service center to quickly arrange that damaged part but they just apologized and gave me an escalation no. [protected] for my complaint. Till 9th Oct 2014 evening I didn't hear anything from them (neither from the technician nor the service center) I called Bosch service centre again and they said technician will be reaching our place in some time. I waited till 8 p.m. nobody turned up. Then I called up that technician directly he said the part is neither available in Mumbai warehouse nor across India and hence it’s been ordered from Germany and will reach them by 11th Oct 2014. This claim was hard to believe. Bosch is such a big international brand having a decent presence across India too and doesn't stock spare parts? Hence I decided to put this matter on social media and complained regarding my issue on their official facebook page on 10th Oct 2014 and IT WORKED. They called me in an hours time, sent their own technician (he was a from Bosch India and an experienced person) who resolved the issue without replacing any part. He checked the refrigerator thoroughly and said there is no issue at all, some button got pressed because of which the refrigerator was shut. I didn't understand why the earlier technician couldn't resolve the issue. Were they an amateur or just trying to fool us ? I really have no idea. I wish I would have complained on Bosch facebook page earlier, it could have saved me from 9 days of struggle and a non functional fridge. If Bosch Home Appliance India team is reading this, please don't outsourced your service contracts to such . It will only malign your image. Please take a strict action against the technicians who visited my place for the first time. Though my issue got resolved I would like to warn all the Bosch customers & prospect consumers be ware of the service issues.

Please see the enclosed photograph of what Bosch is selling in India. This is spider of Widely advertised Bosch Avantixx washing Machine WAS24460IN 8 kg model which I purchased in May 2012. Earlier to this I was using Electrolux aquashower frontload which lasted for 18 years with regular change of bearings every 4-5 years which I used to do myself. This time, since the machine was just out of warranty, I opened this machine for the first time expecting bearing failure, I was for a big shock. Only light use that too on alternate days did this to the spider holding innermost drum. German machines are known for their metallurgy, but here I find a cast iron spider that has just rusted within such short span. The reason for this I think is attributable to peeling off of galvanized layer which otherwise would have saved the cast iron beneath. Any replacement is likely to meet the same fate. Shri Krishna Sirivastava from Bosch Delhi When informed about the failed part that too within such short span, promised that he would get it investigated and will be sending an Engineer. The Engineer Shri Pankaj came today and informed that the problem of rusting of this part was unique for this machine as he has never seen similar failure of parts in other Bosch machines With all the bad experience as mentioned above, I feel bad that I bought a product which failed prematurely specially when I moved from Electrolux to Bosch . Moreover the thought of landing in same situation after 2 years of changing this part based on the fact that metallurgy of the part is very poor and it rusts even in normal use pains me. I request Bosch India to take my complaint about this product seriously, as I am sure many similar product will be on their way for your service engineers and your company will take severe beating in sales when the word spreads about the quality of this product. My mother who purchased IFB washing machine also nearly the same time as ours is very happy she did not buy Bosch. I would request you to get the machine repaired free of charges even though officially its warranty has just expired ( 3 months) since basically it is a manufacturing defect of a critical component of washing machine which should not have failed. My dishwasher stopped working about 1.5 months ago. My wife called BOSCH Service toll free number [protected] and registered complain:[protected]. Two weeks of follow up on the toll free number almost everyday, but nobody called or came to visit.

I sent an escalation mail: service.[protected]@Bosch-Home.com. Same day got a call from bosch service and
got a new complain no: 47061864 and after few days engineer visited and fixed the machine. And gave us a suggestion when ever it does not work tilt the machine to front(same like 20 years old bajaj scooter).

Just 7 days after, machine stopped working again. Lodged a complain
again (Complain No:[protected]. Again nobody called nor came even after numerous calls on the toll free number: [protected]. Again sent an escalation mail on service.[protected]@Bosch-Home.com, engineer Jerold Ph: [protected]) visited and found that some part needs replacement. Left the whole machine in disassembled form at my home and promised that will call tomorrow about the part availability.

As usual no calls no update. When followed up with Jerold service engineer, got an update that, part is not available in india. It will take 20 days to bring the part.

Sent another escalation mail on service.[protected]@Bosch-Home.com, asking a stand by machine or replacement
or return, got a call with a promise that we will get back to you by Tuesday 15-July-2014. Again as usual, no call and no updates.

I purchased battery S3 from Rajinder Service Station, civil lines delhi on 07-06-13 for Rs. 3400(I have both bill and warranty card copy), SI no. for which is 280733. This battery was for my car, DZIRE. I wasnt told, but the truth is that battery only had warranty for one year. Today on 11-07-14, the battery died completely and became useless. It was extremely surprising for me to know that a big German company such as Bosch would manufacture and sell such low grade, low quality products. For the first time in my life I have seen a car battery die in one year only! I cant imagine how substandard can a product get! Im sure even a chinese company manufactured battery which comes at half the price would do more justice than this 120+ year old german loot. Better than this will be our Indian company, exide which is selling something at a better price and has lasted for 3 years in my car. I will try and make sure that I put in a word with maximum number of people now that German company BOSCH sells such substandard products, better than this buy our Indian companies products such as Exide.

This happened recently when i took my Ford Figo Diesel on January of 2014.

This is 2010 model car bought on 2011 and has done around 58000km till i entered the Bosch MCC Motor.

My issues/observation on my car was Noise ("Tuk..Tuk") on turning to U-Turn to Right /Left.
and of course for a regular Oil Change and bake pad inspection.(And Told them a word that i need the car perfectly)

I conveyed the above to one of the service attended @ Mcc Motors Bosch Car and in return he filled up the Job Sheet and asked one of his mechanic to test ride the car and sort of the issues.

The same was done as usual and i left the car there and returned home.(No complaint from mechanic till Now)

After 2 Hrs and came back to work shop to get the Estimation and it was around Rs 50, 000 which included Rs 47500 of spare price and 7500 for Labor. (water wash not included :) )

I was little shocked seeing this quote. The parts to be changed are as below,

Air Filter
Oil Filter
Brake Disk
Brake Pad
Brake shoe
Wheel Cylinder
Drive Shaft Left & Right
Timing Belt
Timing Tensioner
Timing Idler
Alternator Belt

Also the ended saying Clutch and suspensions are also worn out and we can replace it on next visit.

So by now i was little bit doubtful and hence asked them if i can buy the spares outside as i saw few spare prices almost double the actual amount (Brake Pad - 1550, Drive Shaft 14000 etc) also asked then if the spares are "Bosch made" to which they replied "NO".

So, its my turn to find out the and called all around Chennai and Listed the OE make brand and price of all the parts which totaled just Rs.24000. Which is almost 20000 lesser than they're Price.

I informed them the same and told them that i will buy them everything by next week due to my financial issues and they accepted after seeing my list along with Brand name (they dint even say a word about it)

Now the person informed that i can pull out the car for now after 2-3 hrs of re fixing and came I back to take my car and they had a bill of Rs.850.
This made me feel something fishy about the guys and argued y 850?? .. bla bla bla all and left the place giving Rs.500 (Worst ever a customer can be treated )

Now i am confused of all wat happened and i did not want to step into that Ditch again. So decided to Look for some mechanics and Finalized with a guy near Velachery who again test drive'd my car.

His statement was the car is perfectly good and only Right Drive shaft needed a replacement and nothing other than that.

By this time i was afraid of if he is not a good option as the opinions were @ two extremes!!!

Finally told him what all happened @ Mcc Motors Bosch Car BOSCH and he just smiled without a word and asked me to leave the car and go. Also promised that he will guaranty me 100% satisfy
I forced him to change the timing Belt and accessories at least but he refused by telling he will inspect/check it first.

So the result was out after 3 days,

He just changed the following

Engine Oil
Air Filter
Oil Filter
Wheel Cylinder
Drive Shaft Left - Right
Alternator Belt

The Total Estimation was 11200 which included complete wash(I/E) + 500 diesel.

I was simply shocked!! i asked him to change the Brake pad .. but he immediately removed it and showed me the pad and told it can be changed after 5000kms :).

I couldn't believe him even till now.

I am driving the car now and have almost done 1500km without any issues.

So guys this is my Experience about a Branded Garage under the Name Bosch-Mcc Motors Bosch Car

May be the car would have been perfect after all the spare changes as Listed by Bosch, but y should u do it when it can be even more perfect with the Original spares of your Car

But the surprise is ...wont the Bosch Mechanic Know if a Brake pad is worn out or not. :) !!! hmmmm anyway !!

I won’t say they cheated me!!! Nor even tried too!! But it’s up to your pocket weight to choose

I received the interview call letter on jan 9th 2014 from Bosch..They have mentioned security deposit amount rs.8300/- which we have to pay by 10th jan. Is that original interview call or not please let me know..Probably i think it is a fake, If it is, I request the crime branch to take a severe action on the culprits...and they should be punished.

By doing so you can also prevent your friends & help others from being trapped in this SCAM.
