It is disheartening that my brand new car tyre has become unusable and that too after normal day to day usage, after having run only about 500 kms.

I had got my car tyres replaced about a month back in April 2018 through their dealer, Courtsey Honda.

I would expect Bridgestone to replace the faulty tyre at the soonest and spare me further harassment and inconvenience.

Is bridgestone's commitment "tire safety, safety first and bridgestone's pledge for tyre safety"', a false and bogus claim?

This is regarding defective tire which is not being repaired / replaced however, it is covered under warranty.
I had purchased maruti suzuki ignis on jan 2018. My vehicle had run 5000 kms.
Two days back i found one of the tire flat in the morning. I instantly informed mr. Ashish sharma, manager, bright 4 wheels, ring road, lucknow. As per his requirement i had submitted the tire at his store on 20th may 2018.

But as per bridgestone authority, mr. Siddharth (Conatct no. [protected]), the concerned tire is irreplaceable and does not falls under warranty cover.
Now, please clarify, why is it not?
Bridgestone provided such delicate and poor quality product which does not lasts on posh roads of lucknow.
The tire is flat due to wear/tear/burst cut or whatever. I need a proper and appropriate reason from your responsible authority as to "why does it not falls under warranty? And what is the purpose of warranty here by your company.
If such issue is not covered then what is covered?
Should i go on sweeping the road before driving to avoid any such incident to protect such a poor quality product.

The tyre has swollen like an egg shape from the side surface which does not even touch the ground. The customer service engineer refuses to help says it is not a manufacturing defect.in 2 months only the tyre is swelling it has to be manufacturing defect!!
Alok kumar yadav from mathura road office inspected the tyre and refuses to listen or verify our claim as if in a hurry to falsely close the case.

My name is khalid khan. I am having two vehicals (Honda city/hyundai verna). When i purchase those vehicals i got tyre of your company (Bridgestone) in both the vehical. Both the cars meter reading is approx 30000 kilometre and now the tyre of honda city start cracking and the tyre of hyundai verna is blooming and cracking from side too. I told this problem to my service centers and they told me that the tyre company is responsible for all these things. Then they call the agent from your company to take a look on the tyre but he reject to change the tyre and said that the life of bridgestone tyres is only for 30000 kilometres. So if the tyre of your company is only for 30000 kilometre i want an written note for that. And your all agent are like foolish they dont know about your company properly.
So kindly give me an reply. I want an explanation regarding my complain.

My honda city going at speed of 80 kmph on highway tyre ruptured from outer side while going in small pit. The company claims in advertisements of tough tyres but it was very surprising of such incident while going through small pits of regular indian roads and when told to anyone they laugh. I am not going in for bridgestone tyres in future in any of my three cars. Really heart breaking.

My brother was driving the 2017 model toyota fortuner at kannur city road (Kerala) which was clean & clear on 01st march 2018 at below 25 km/h speed. Suddenly a sound heard from the right rear side tyre & stopped the car on the spot and found that tyre was burst. He checked the road & no sharp object or stones were found on the road. Vehicle speedometer was 19500 kms at that time.

He directly contacted toyota service centre (Amana toyota, kannur) for the replacement under warranty. They forwarded the tyre picture to bridgestone dealer and their reply was rejected and the reason wrote was "sidewall cut penetration due to hit form external sharp object". Their feedback was totally unacceptable to me because of below reasons.
- there were no sharp objects present at the site and the speed was below 25km/h since it was in the city and it was a clean & well-maintained road.
- the bursted tyre was on the rear right side, not the left side one. Left side tyres are having more chances to hit the side wall or sharp objects.
- how come the front right side tyre missed the sharp object & hit only on the rear tyre which is a contradictory finding from bridgestone agency.

Looking at these reasons, i strongly believe that i am eligible for a replacement tyre from bridgestone company.

Kindly look into this matter and appreciate your assistance on this.

My tyre has 3 years warranty and it is deshaped within six months i have send it to company by the help of my dealer and they returned old tyre and saying it happened due hard hitting or pinching. Inside of the tyre there is no damage amd in the rejected form they marked as damage occured inside the tyre. I didn't travelled a long distance also. Help me plzz...

I have purchased three tyres from bridge stone from m/s. Sundar tyres, madurai on december 2016. After purchasing the tyres wobbling compliant raised within three months from date of purchase. We have asked for tyre replacement they asked for bill copy at that time the bill has been missed. Now we having the bill with us, so replace the tyre for me. (We spoke with showroom for replacement, they are not responding properly)

I bought 4 nos psr 195/55 r16 b29z tl tyre for my fluid verna 1.6 sx as 23 p 9029 on 3rd feb'18. I fitted on 5th feb'18 along with balancing and alignment and i drive on 30 km at nh 37. The front drive lhs tyre got torn in the inner side of the wheel around 1.5 cm without any external scratches. I contacted bridgestone. A tech. Came to inspect the tyre and gave me a report that the tyre was cut due by some foreign objects at road. But i am not satisfied with the tech review coz i was only driving my car at 35-40 km/hr coz there was traffic on the road side and the manufacturing date of the tyre is 3316 and due to poor storage and might the quality of tyre is degraded. It is very hard to say why the tyre got torn so i asked them to provide the lab test analysis report of the cut tyre that it was due to cut by some external objects not due to manufacturing defect. They denied that is not in their norms. They are offering 50% and asking me pay for rest and get a new tyre. I don't think so that they are so expert by visula inspection they can guess why the defect happened. Please requesting to kindly see into the matter and provide me the best solution.

I bought a new creta car. On 15th june 2017. Company fitted bridgestone tyre. At the time of delivery. Today i just saw that my bridgestone tyre is crush/ defective at my apartment parking. Driven only 6 thousand km no puncture till today. But tyre is crush from left side. Please suggest. From where we can change my defective tyre. I'm staying in delhi dwarka sector -11.

Dear sir,
I was sold a new bridge stone tubeless tyre 237/75/15r manufacturing year 2014. That makes its almost 3years and 4months old as on the date of purchase that is 10th feb 2018.
The seller had taken an advance before buying and did not mention about its age during selling.
My request is how do i make a consumer complaint against him and how safe is the tyre to use.
I have been using bridge stone tyres for my mahindra scorpio, and this is my third set in 12 years. My run is very low which is now approx 1, 17, 000 only.

I have a very bad experience with bridgestone tyres. I purchased new swift dzire 2017 model with company fitted bridgestone tyres on july 31st 2017 from jayabheri motors visakhapatnam, when on december 16th 2017 front left wheel tyre got side wall patch which i considered as physical damage. After month second tyre i. E is right side back wheel which has a point hole on side wall. So immediately i informed to varun maruthi dealer in viziangaram where iam living. They inspected and lodge compliant as a manufacture defect but bridge stone people replied that its like physical damage by external unit. But the given explanation is not con-vincible. 100 percent it is manufacturer defects for both tyres. There are many complaints lodged against same issue. So please resolve my issue by replacing new tyres.

Hello,
I had bought new ford ecosport facelift on 17 th nov 2017 which came fitted with bridgestone ecopia tyres. After driving total of 1800kms while parking my car, tyre had touched concrete pavement at speed of hardly 2-3kms/hr and it burst then and there. There was a major crack on sides of tyre so deep that you can insert 2 fingers. I contacted bridgestone to get it inspected and engineer comes and submits report stating it’s damage on sides and damage is not covered under warranty and hence i won’t get a replacement.
I’m buying an suv for 13lacs hoping it will give me better off roading experience but here it is touching concrete block at speed of 2km/hr and bursting. I’m very disappointed by bridgestone’s quality and it is increasing my concern regarding safety standard of vehicle. Engineer claims that a tyre can blast when sharp object touches it so if id cruise at 80-100 and if any sharp object touches it, my tyre will blast??? What is the use of abs, ebd, 6 air bags and tcs when my tyres are not even stable? I’m filing complaint with both ford and bridgestone and also consumer court regarding the quality of material they sell in car of 13lacs. Sincere request to all, avoid buying the new ford ecosport with these tyres if you want safety. If you buy then make sure to get them replace with mrf or any other tyres which you can hold accountable when it does not perform. Bridgestone does not take responsibility at any condition. The tyre cost is around 10k and if it keep blasting everytime i try to park then it is going to make big hole in pocket.

Kind this information we have purchasing the mahindra xuv 5oo before 1 year, at the time we have facing the bald spots issue in my rr rh tyre. So that we have visit the nearest mahindra authorized dealership they check and found all components like wheel bearing, shock absorber, disc, etc and change for the diagnose purpose & wheel alignment, balancing and tyre rotation was done. But my issue as it is.
So kindly look into my issue and resolved as soon as possible.

I replaced my Ford figo all 4 wheels with new Bridgestone tyres. Hardly 4000km not completed. On highway of very good road from Belgaum _ Bagalkot hardly after 40 km travelling duration at the speed of 60km (near a road brake)my car's front left tyre suddenly Burstead with dragging left-side & fortunately I stopped up without any damages to me & car. When I contact dealer, without seeing he said no warranty is for Bridgestone. But at the time of purchase he didn't say anything. So never go through Bridgestone. LOCAL TYRES ARE BEST. NOW I AM FEAR ABOUT OTHERS 3 TYRES WHAT DANGER THEY MAKE ME. SO DON'T GO FOR HIGHER.
