I placed an order with the ghansoli outlet of burger king on 20th may - order #lt[protected] amounting to rs 432 + rs 25.92 service tax + rs 58.32 vat + rs 29 delivery charge = rs 545. This order was placed through www.burgerkingindia.in and not any other third party app.
This amount was paid online and half an hour later i received an email stating that the order was declined. Upon speaking to the store manager (Mobile number [protected]) i was informed that the third party delivery service no longer delivers to the address i had given. I was told that the money would be refunded in a few working days. A week later when i tried calling the mobile number on my bill (Same as given above), i realised that the number was temporarily unavailable and that the ghansoli outlet had shut down.
I made multiple attempts to get in touch with burger king india including reaching out over twitter and facebook and also filling out the contact form on the website but have received no response to date and no refund either.
I not only want my refund but also seek damages to compensate for the amount of time i have spent following up on this.
