To concern authority:

This is with regards to dusbin placed near the residence of Galaxy Apartments near Buntar Bhavan Qureshi Nagar, Kurla East Mumbai 400 070 which is a major nuisance to public and most important their health.

Facts about the placement of dustbin

Middle of the main market
Next to the residence

How it is effected:

Since it is placed in market the garbage keeps overflowing and attracts animals ( pigs, rats, dogs, cats) and flies who makes the place even more worst and creates health issues.

It creates a kiosk during school hours, children have to walk on the garbage at times and bear the dirty stink, at times they stumble and fall during rainy season due to traffic and crowd in a narrow road and moreover garbage spills.

Since it is placed next to the residence entrance gate the animals litter around and mess up the place and scatter the waste all around, that it makes difficult to enter the building premises. There are many mosquitoes breeding which impacts our health and lifestyle.

We have been living with this for past 3 years hoping that someday there would be some relief however this is getting worst day by day.

    I would like to raise an issue of increasing rodent damage in my colony (Kapadia Nagar)and it has been increasing since long and no action is been taken.
    I would like to request for an immediate action taken against this issue. Hope to see a quick response from your department.

      Sir, we have been continuously making complaint about the same but said is not been hindered for last two to three months for the reason unknown to us. We now hereby first time logging our complaint on email and look forward permanent solutions for e. G. Toward few vendor then it would be bazaar.

      We look forward your immediate intervention in removal of the vendor since it is blocking road also

        There are severall manholes kept open on the footpath at eastern express high way, in from of everard nagar cooperative housing society, chunabhatti 400022
        This needs urgent attention as due to bus stops which are located on the same footpath there is constant stream of people walking in both directions. Please get these attended immediately as it is quite possible that people might fall in the open manholes.

          Dear Sir,

          Due to less water supply in the area we are facing lot of problem in our day to day life. There are 23 buildings in our colony where the water supply is provided for 24 hours and there are certain areas where there is no water supply at all. However the supply line is same. The members of the society have launched many oral complaints against this issue but no response seen by the BMC officers. Sir it’s a humble request from the members of our Daimond Society of Kapadia Nagar Kurla(W) to Pl look into this matter.

          We have observed that there is lots of corruption going on between BMC officer, local Police and local plumpers. Local plumbers are charging from 50,000/- till 80,000/- for a new illegal water supply connection for Commercial structure and chawl at Kismat Nagar . They are earning lots and lots of money by supplying illegal water supply lines in the area. Due to which the people who are actually paying money for water are not getting the water.

          The excuse given by the BMC officers when talked on this issue is due to less rain there is shortage in whole Mumbai. Sir we can understand that there is less water supply in whole Mumbai city but the point is in the same area with same line how can on part of the area is getting water are others are not.

          Sir being a responsible citizen it’s my duty to intimate you about this issue. Below are certain points which I believe the reason for all this mess.
          1.Illegal water supply lines.
          2.No control and survey done by BMC officers.
          3.More involvement of local plumbers.
          4.No checking of Illegal lines done by BMC officers on periodic bases.
          5.No initiative taken by local cooperator and local MLA in this issue.


          Sir it’s a requested Pl look into this matter and provide us some solution.

            I am residence of kurla (w)Opp kalpana Talkies , L ward would like to bring to your kind notice that there is some work going From Last 5 Yrs But Still Pending. There is Big Gutter Which is open From Last 5 Yrs In Front Of My Shop.Several Times Accident Has Been Occurs and We Had complaint against the same from 2005 days its has become very difficult for us and shopkeepers to manage. we requested each laborers and contractor is no where around but realized that our words feel in deaf ears.bussiness is been ruined for shopkeepers the Dig is causing lot of problem so please come into action and relie[censored]s. its difficult for Shopkeeper to get in and out of the Shop as Big Dig is kept in the way. its Look Like Methi Nadi Had Built In Front Of The Shop10 feet deep Approx . there is no contractor or supervisor around. now the work has been stopped due to pipeline is bustered.all the filthy smell and mosquitoes are caused due to that. which causes again germs and mosquitos. please take some action who so ever concern and Full Fill All Gutter Which Has Open From The Past 5 Yrs (Day By Day They Are Digging The Road And The Shopper Keeper Facing The Problem Road Is Also Jam We Had Complaint Many time To The BMC L Ward But NO Result .All TV Channel And News Paper Had Print The Photo In the New paper But BMC are Deft Pls Reply)

            Hi,

            I had registered a complain via this source that there has been water logging in the Mukund Compound behind Durga Hotel which is located at L.B.S.Marg opp. Mukund Bus stop in Kurla west. Due to which all the surrounding areas and houses are affected by mosquitoes. The pesticide man came today but sprayed only at gomes chawl in naupada and went away. Request to send inside the compound of Mukund Limited which belongs to Mukund company.

            Also, send pesticide person to spray at public toilet located near Durga mandal i.e opposite Kashish Building in Naupada and also behind Suri Motor Training School, next to Ranjan Caterers on Vidyavihar road i.e Raju badekar marg as this is urgently required since malaria is spreading your people are becoming careless in terms of human health please ensure they perform their duty properly. As many houses are located surrounding these public toilet.

            Please help us I am writing this not as a complaint but as a human being to help every neighbours.

            These pesticides should be regular on weekly basis but we hardly see them as ones in a blue moon. What are Municipal busy with if they cannot perform their job. Even I don't find the road being cleaned daily. Mumbai is becoming kolkatta dirty and filthy instead of making a Shanghai.

            Go international and see how the road are maintained and kept clean but we indian will never improve.

            Hope you will do the needful.

            SUB : Harassment from the builder
            Leo Land Housing Complex, Tunga, Powai


            We have been living in C Wing of Leo Land Housing Complex, Tunga, Powai, for the last 12 months. There are many things promised by the builder at the time of purchasing the flat (April 2009) which are not fulfilled till date and many of the building works are not given priority by the builder though we have paid the entire amount towards the purchase of our flats.

            So many reminders, phone calls, sms have been sent to the builder during the past 14 months, but not interest is shown towards any of the issue related to the building..

            The builder has taken 12 cheques in advance towards Monthly maintenance/outgoing charges, but failed to provide the following inspite of many requests and reminders.

            1) NO 24 hrs Security for C Wing
            There is no security at night time which may lead to robbery in the flats.
            There is a lot of nuisance at nights by the dogs in and around the building, which leads us with sleepless nights.

            2) Repair and maintenance of the building.
            a. Leakages/dampness are found in most of the flats during the possession of the flats and at the stilt areas of the building which was reported to you in the month of October 09, and no remedy is given by you till date.

            b. There is lot of rubbish in the premises and also debris got collected in the building for the past two years which has made shelter for dogs, frogs, mosquitoes etc.

            c. Entrance and stilt flooring work of the building still not done and the area is very unclean.

            d. As per the plan, the builder supposed to make the portico same as A & B wing, which is still not constructed.

            3) NO Elevator in the Building
            The entire flats in the building are sold and almost 90% flats are occupied, even people are living on the 6th floor, but it’s so disgraceful that there is no lift till date.

            The builder had given many verbal assurances to us during the purchase and when we occupied this flat in the month of September 2009 that the lift/elevator will be installed and commissioned by October 2009, now its September 2010 and till date this work is pending for completion.

            We have been living in the building for past 12 months and have paid 100% amount towards the purchase of the flats and monthly maintenance charges.

            4) Ownership of the building
            There is no OC for the building and the builder has given us the possession on the basis of Legal Undertaking duly signed by us and refused to give us the copy of the same for our record purpose. Also taken Rs. 35, 000/- towards development of the open space/car Parking from us.

            The sale agreement is signed between us and the builder Mr. Able George, but Mr, Anthony, who is the uncle of the builder, interferes in all the above building related issue and also an obstruction/barrier for smooth functioning and completion of the above works of the building

            Mr. Anthony has also claims that he is the owner of entire building and has all the authority to do anything in the building/flats. Mr. Anthony is often found very rude, non respectful towards the residents and his actions and speech found filthy.

            Above all, the entire premises is unclean, drainages are overflowing, rain water collection, construction material thrown everywhere etc.

            Keeping all these issues in mind, we feel that out builder is taking us for granted and misusing our humanity and sincerity.

            We therefore, need your cooperation to resolve these above issue for our smooth and peaceful stay in the building.
