I rode from Dadar East to Thane east (Kopri).
The distance is approximately 25 kilometres for which the fare on M-indicator is 467/ 583(night).
While my taxi guy's meter came up to 993.
How is this possible ?
I have photo of taxi no. as well as meter.

First of all he made another passenger sit without even asking me for a different route and then took ahead and charged me more. Demanded more money and refused to pay back the change. He should be not allowed to drive further cause he could be a threat for woman safety.

Taxi - MH. 01. AT. 3851

This is Mayur Soni and I live in Ghatkopar west.

Today i booked a taxi from Surti Hotel Bhuleshwar to Gangawadi, Ghatkopar west.

Usually, the charges comes around 360-390 rs but I have been charged 513 rs.

I am pretty much sure that i have been charged incorrectly.

I would request you to please look into this matter. Every day people are fooled in Mumbai.

Taxi no. MH 01 CR 3388
I traveled around 4 km according to Google maps from sion circle to sangam Nagar Bus Stop but the meter showed up 7.5 km. When asked to the driver he behaved arroganly.
Please take necessary action

I am working near kamala mills (Lower parel). I regularly travel from kamala mill to dadar st in taxi. But today date 05/09/2020. After confirmation of cab driver when i sit in taxi at kamla mill, driver said me that now will not go to dadar st & get down from my taxi. Why such rude behavior with traveler..??

Taxi no mh 03 f 9421

I took taxi from vashi highway to metro theater.. The best way is threw mankhurd - deonar - freeway.. So i had taken the same route.. Taxi meter was very fast... Instead of 380-390... Meter appear 525... Taxi number was mh01bd1041.. This kind of meter should be cancelled and u should taken some action against this type of taxi driver... Waiting for your reply...

I boarded yellow black ac taxi from shivneri msrtc bus stand dadar for santacruz east. Bill was rs. 289. I handed him 500 rs and looked down in my purse. He was so swift. He held out rs 100 note n said madam bill is 289. This is shameful. I told him i had paid rs. 500. He insisted. So i gave him another 500 rs. I think cab no. Was mh 01 bt 3876 or 3786. Mostly former. Hence we shud not prefer yellow black taxies.

I took a taxi from mahim (Western express highway) to siddhivinayak. Travel time-15 mins. This route usually costs me 70-80 rupees. The taxi that i took on 18th july 2017 - mh 02 bq 9280 charged me rs. 128 for the same. The meter was definitely tampered with. There was not a lot of traffic as well since it took me only 15mins to reach my destination

I have forgotten my umbrella in the taxi number mh-01-at-1227 which i hired at 07:20 pm from dockyard road station to lokmaniya tilak terminal i was in hurry to catch the train so in that rush i forgot a black color umbrella which was a new. I had forgotten the small black colour hand bag which contains following.
1. Smart Phone : Galaxy Note 1, Model GT N7000 along with memory card.
2. Mobile : White colour having 4 sims and memory card . Sim 1 = AirTel ; Sim 2, 3 & 4 = Dolphin MTNL mumbai.

3. Reliance JioFi3 Device along with 4G sim.
4. Mobile charging Power bank.
5. Digital calculator along with case.
All above items are in Black colour pouch. I have forgotten the Black bag which contains above items on 28.06.2017 while travelling from Mahalaxmi race course outside main road to Santacruze milan subway bridge at around 7 PM. I was travelling with my wife and two childrens and we were sitting at Rear Seat.
On front seat my friend, old person was sitting & he had paid the bill from Mahalaxmi Race course to Bridge of Milan subway santacruze.

The taxi was Santro, & Driver talked very nicely with my old friend during journey. At that time heavy rain was comming while getting down from the taxi.

I took taxi 4850 from Crawford market on 30th May at 6 15 pm and was with family and came to Laxmi colony chembur at 7 15 pm
I forgot to take a bag while paying amt of Rs 227
The back contained articles of my daughter's birthday

Such as decoration articles May be it's not drivers fault but if he will see his back of taxi he may really find it and SHALL return it back before 7th June

I took a yellow & black cab from ltt in mumbai upto my home in sector 19a nerul.. At around 8 pm on 23.07.16. The meter reading showed rs 788.00 and there was no reading related to the km run... I had paid less than rs 400 for an ac for my trip earlier from home to ltt by ola cab including toll charges...
I am worried why these taxi men are cheating us and we have no faith on them.
I would request to take strict action against this cab no mh01 at 3630 which was a maruti eeco model taxi.
Would appreciate if you can provide me with a feedback on the action taken

I took a cab from Khetwadi, Grat road to High Street Phoenix, Lower parel at around 6.30pm and the fare was Rs. 70. While returning back at 9pm, I took the cab from the same place till Khetwadi and the fare went up to Rs. 122. I told the driver that there is some issue with the meter. From Rs. 107 it directly jumped to Rs. 114. He argued saying there is no issue and you will have to pay as per meter. I took the snap of the taxi number - MH03 AT271

Taxi number MH 03 AT 3167 has a meter that is running faster than normal taxi meters. I was charged 215 where I normally pay 144 over the last 2 weeks. The taxi meter must be checked and rectified.

I arrived from Delhi by go air flight Nd from terminal 1A i took a car (silver colour indigo), for thane, at 8:35 pm but as he showed me the chart costing 1500 /-rs .i asked him to stop the car Nd I took another taxi, but I forgot my wallet with all my id's (pan card, Aadhar card, voter id) Nd around 10000/-rs in that indigo.pls call me its very important as I m from Delhi---my no.[protected]

time: 9:00 - 9:15...It was a new Santro cab...From Byculla Mustufa Bazaar to Pydhonie...After getting down from taxi it was observed that one earing was missing...there is a full possibility of the earing being lost in cab...it was in round, silver n studded...if found pls contact [protected]

I was supposed to take a taxi from Malad to Bandra, I went to Taxi Stand at Liberty Garden, Malad, and I asked the taxi driver that 'Bandra Chaloge Kya?', one of the taxi drivers told me to take another taxi, but the taxi driver is not here, Then I went to Taxi Stand which is located at S.V Road, I asked the taxi driver that 'Bandra Chaloge Kya', one of two taxi drivers asked me that 'Bandra mein kahan jaana hai'. I replied that 'Mere ko West jaaneka hai'. One of the taxi driver said that there is traffic jam at Goregaon-Mulund Link Road and he refused. Please take strict action against those taxi drivers who refused to ferry from Malad to Bandra.

Took a ride on taxi no MH-02-R-7391 on 15.9.14, from Lower Parel to Powai. Meter showed Rs 480 for a distance of 30 km. (photos attached) This is about 20% more than correct fare. Please take action and oblige. Thanks and regards Kaushik Roy [protected]

I was going from Bandra Kurla Complex to my clients office in town through King's Circle. I got down of the taxi half way through just to buy a bottle of water but accidentally left the phone (Nexus 4) in the cab. While getting down, I did note down the last 4 digits of the taxi - it is 3852. It was Black & Yellow Taxi - Santro Model. I couldnt quite note the other details. The police people are not able to help me on this one as they want the entire registration number of the taxi. How do you think I can go about finding this taxi driver ? On 18th Feb 2012 at around 11.05 to 11.30 pm i and my family boarded a taxi bearing Taxi Number MH 01 TA 4229 from dadar Railway Stattion to Chembur.The driver told thae he shall be charging by meter.Subsequently when i was saw the meter running very fast i told to taxi driver your meter running is very fast, that time he press the button on behind the steering sudnly meter goes slows, but the Dadar to Chembur Apprx meter cost of Rs 120 to 140 but that felow meter shows Rs 250/-Some one should investigate, so that others do not suffer my fate.

My mother and I took a cab from crawford market in the evening and the cab driver after making us sit in the cab and putting the meter down suddenly asked us to get out of the cab...when we refused he just started yelling at us and used foul language....then he just got out of the cab and refused to get back in till we didnt vacate his cab....the number is MH 01 J 3587....hope some action is taken against him...

I wish to complain againt the driver of a cab number -- MH 01 J 5226.
I wanted to travel from Parel to Dadar on 16/08/2010 at 4.30pm and when reuuested politely was rudely refused because of the short distance.

On 3rd May 2009 at around 4 am I and my wife boarded a taxi bearing registration number MH 01 X 4421 from Dadar railway station to Malad. The driver told that he shall be charging by meter. Subsequently he told that the meter rate is 1.5 times in the night. When we got down at Malad he showed a meter reading of 22.6 and as per his card asked for a payment of Rs 480. I paid him a 500 note, which through a sleight of hand he changed with a Rs 100 note and asked me to pay the balance amount. He did it again when I gave him another Rs 500 note. I actually thought that he may be right, but when I came inside the house and checked the balances I realised that the driver has taken me for a ride and collected more than Rs 1200 from me for a trip costing not more than Rs 300. Please take action against the taxi driver as he has made me feel miserable and looted me. There was an accomplice sitting with him all the way from Dadar to malad.
Please tell to whom I should complain. I was told that this is a common occurence at Dadar station during nighttime. Some one should investigate, so that others do not suffer my fate.

To a Traffic Police Head,

I traveled today [18-nov-2008] from Dadar to Borivali at mor. 4.45 AM. After reaching Borivali, taxi driver told me to give 475+ rs because meter was showing around 28 reading. This is absolutely disgusting. since I travel regularly from Churchgate to Borivali and it cost not more than 350 rs. Driver has also behaved badly and threatened me that he will break a glass and will scratch himself and than will go to police to accuse me.

I ultimately gave him 450 rs.

Taxi number is MH-02 R 6863.

My wife has tried to register complain today at around 6.45 PM at dadar RTO, but they have refused to take a complain and told to go to Borivali Police station. I dont know why? People say that there is nexus between Taxi driver near station and traffic police there ... i have no comment ... but if this is true than its high time to look into this ...

I am sure there are still many loyal police in traffic department and can give due consideration to my complain and revert back to me either via phone or via email. Hope by doing this i am not inviting more trouble !!!
