I had booked a prepaid taxi from Indhira Gandhi Airport to Ginger Hotel Vivek Vihar on 25th Aug'23 at around 7pm.I was charged Rs 900 which is almost double the actual rate and it was not even midnight.Pre paid taxi should be sincere to public as compared to other transport players like uber Ola

They looted 480rupeess. I gave them 500 rupees note. But somehow they changed my note with 20rupees note. Soon I realised I was looted

I would like to inform that I had travelled from Bangalore to Delhi on 13th May 2023. I landed in Delhi international airport, T3. When I came out I booked the taxi through prepaid taxi booth from airport to Palam (Indra Nagar). The executive has said the fare for the same is 400 Rs. when I gave him 500 Rs, note, he was showing me 100 rs, and saying kindly give 500 Rs, note, then I thought by mistake I had given him 100 Rs, and then later I gave him again 500 Rs. note, and he gave me 100 Rs. But after the booking when I checked my wallet I came to know that he took twice 500 Rs. note from me and he is looting people like this at their booth.
I would like to request kindly take strict action action them and if possible please refund my 400 Rs. I have the receipt of my travel.

Dear Team,

I came out and took prepaid taxi from their booth, the guy took 500 Rs, from me and showing me 100 saying I paid only 100 Rs, so kindly give him 500 Rs, note, but later when I checked I came to know that he took twice 500 Rs. note from me. They are doing this scam very frequently as I have seen many complaints against them like this and no one is taking any action strict action against them.
Request you to kindly help me on the same and I would appreciate if 400 Rs. will get refund.

I was looted of Rs 400 by scamsters operating as clerks in prepaid taxi counter.

You pay them 500 and they will pretend to recieve 100 Rs for the same.

I was scammed at the Terminal 1c prepaid taxi booth wherein i gave rs 500 ..for the fare that was claimed to be 450. And he said u gave only 100 and returned 100 after i again gave him rs. 500.

I need my money back. This is scam for single women traveling. Please do check cctv footage between 4.30pm to 5.00pm right hand side. 17th april, 2022.

I am tourist from pune nd i came at prepaid taxi booth at newly started haj terminal. I want to go to karolbagh nd fare for this journey was 470 i gave 500 rupee note but the person at booth bluffed nd shown me 100 rupee note nd refused to agree that i have given him 500note. I am Tourist from HK. I am writing a compliant to the pre-paid taxi in Delhi Airport.

I was paying for a Pre-paid taxi service from Delhi Airport to my Hotel on 23-Nov-2016 at about 11:00am. I was paying 400Rps to the pre-paid reception. Then I went to get a taxi outside the Airport.

As advised from the pre-paid taxi counter, I could take on anyone of the taxi nearby the taxi station. I got on one of them. The taxi driver did not ask me where to go but got all my receipt for taxi.

During the journey, the taxi started to say he didn't know how to get me to the hotel. I gave him the name of the hotel and address which was printed on my hotel printing. I also tried hard to help him to get the location. The hotel was actually in the connaught place in new delhi. I think the driver was so unprofessional. I hate the driver. He kept saying that he didn't know the place. Connaught place is the main centre of New Delhi. He was trying to cheat me and saying that he shall bring me to a tourist information centre which is government owned. I said it was ok but he said he needed to charge me 200Rps more for changing the route. I was so helpless in the taxi as I was the tourist on my own and the driver was so helpless. I can't do much but I could only accept the conditions.

Finally, we arrived the tourist information. However, it was a fake one. It was not a government owned. It was private-owned. I didn't realise until they told me some strange things like many hotels had closed down since Delhi is now under chaotic situations. He lied me that my hotel had closed down already due to this reason. He then tried to persuade me to join the local tour organised by them. I was feeling so upset and uncomfortable. I was sitting in a office which people around me wanted to get my money to buy their services. Finally, I said no and I wanted to get back to airport right now. I said I didn't feel secure in this city and it even killed my mood to travel in the city.

I really hope that the relevant government department which promote the travelling industry in Delhi should take actions to such a scam driver to save the security of the tourists from aboard. If no action taken, I will never recommend my friends in HK to travel in Delhi. NO!
