Dear Sir/ madam,
We have received a bill on mid-December 2020 for the electricity consumed during the month from July to October 2020 of about Rs.27000/- . Even though CESC sent us electricity bill on May (Rs.67/-), June (Rs.730/-), August (Rs.560/-) September (Rs.1210/-& 360/-). Till September nothing pending.
After huge bill received on December, we contacted your office, but they forced to pay it immediately else threatened...

Excess amount deduction during online bill payment

My last electricity bill from 17/12/2020 to 16/1/2021 is Rs840.I paid the bill online on 18/02/2021 but during my online payment of bill an amount of Rs1680 (double) has been deducted from my account but I have not got the extra amount (Rs840) refunded to my account.

Please look into the matter urgently....

Rs 2320 has been deducted from my account towards payment on customer id [protected] at 07:25 am on 16th February, but after payment there's no confirmation from CESC, and the fund get deducted from my account. I have made payment through my debit card.. kindly look into the issue n solve it. Thank you...

Bill payment through on line not acknowledge

to day around 4pm i have made online transaction for monthly bill payment by icici bank debit card &the amount of rs1360/ has been deducted from my bank account but sorry to say the same has not yet been acknowledge by cesc. Would you please enquire the status of said transaction, wheather payment credited in cesc account or transaction failed for any reason.

Unable to pay bills online

1) Though I am receiving the monthly bill regularly but can not pay the same as "Please do not pay this bill" is printed on it. The amount is perhaps deducted from the security deposit. Please look into the matter so that the bill is paid by me regularly.

Dispute on the Nov 2020 bill Bill # 15017114114/11205 dated 17/1/2021

To whosoever it may concern,

Please note in the aforementioned Nov 2020 bill, that the "Value of consumed units earlier kept in abeyance - Month wise Details" is incorrect.

For May 20 (bill # [protected]/05203), the Units Billed earlier is not 1129 BUT 3074. We already paid this May 20 bill for 3074 units. Given this, actually we have paid as per the meter already. You have no case for charging us again based...

The meter reading was not done as the concerned person didn't turn up on the specific day.
And we also didn't receive any link to submit the manual reading
The current meter reading is 22474. Kindly update the same on your records....

Complaint about excessive electric bill

It is to be stated that I, Shashi Nath Bose, reside at BL-Q; 2nd Floor; FL-A, 319 Panchanantala Lane, Metiabruz, Kolkata -700024 have complained about excessive electricity bills. Since the last 4 months I have received very high electricity bills from CESC Kolkata.

Meter Reading not done

Hi, I have 2 meters in my house ( Customer id [protected] and [protected]).Last 2 months, I am not staying in my house. The person who is staying is going to office from morning till evening ( 8.45 am to 7 pm). Due to that the person who comes to read the meter was not able to take actual reading. Can it be done on weekend otherwise the bills are coming on assumption. I have got sms for one meter to submit the actual reading within 24 hrs...

Excess payment of bill, consumer I'd: 63000385444

On 21.12.2020 I paid my October 2020 electricity bill through credit card. The bill amount was Rs 590/-, but due to some technical problem my bill was paid twice. Instead of Rs.590/- I paid Rs. 1180/-. I was having an idea that the excess amount is adjusted in the next month bill, but I found that in November 2020 bill my earlier excess payment was not adjusted. Please do the needful.

Consumer no - [protected], Last months bill worth 2840 has already been paid by Paytm, Invoice attached for reference and is also reflecting in your website. Still this month we received bill worth 4400 showing arreas of previous bill. Kindly look into this matter as the due date is showing as 18th January 2021.

We don't want to double pay since we have already paid for it. Requesting you to look into...
