    My customer id is [protected].you have disconnected my line without any notice or phone call just one day after the due date got over.
    since there was a medical emergency at home we missed the deadline for payment on 23rd feb but on 25th feb morning your official came and disconnected the line and did'nt even bother to enquire if the payment was done before disconnecting.
    it is mandatory for you to give notice and then disconnect the lines if payment is not done.

    Due to this inconvenience i had to keep my commercial establishment closed on 25th feb for which i suffered losses of Rs 10, 000 odd amount .I want the supply line to be immediately restored and rebate of Rs 10, 000 from my next bill .I i don't get the rebate i will take stern action.

      Double payment by mistake

        Dear Sir/ madam,
        We have received a bill on mid-December 2020 for the electricity consumed during the month from July to October 2020 of about Rs.27000/- . Even though CESC sent us electricity bill on May (Rs.67/-), June (Rs.730/-), August (Rs.560/-) September (Rs.1210/-& 360/-). Till September nothing pending.
        After huge bill received on December, we contacted your office, but they forced to pay it immediately else threatened to cut the meter connection soon. How injustice done against the consumer is really pathetic.
        How is it possible that such huge bill generated showing huge unit consumed? The CESC not even bothered to contact us / intimate us on the June/July 2020 about sudden huge unit consumed. Whereas CESC after nearly 5 (five) months later generated the bill. Generally the room is given rent to bachelor people sometimes. They have left on October and if the bill came within October then also it was possible to get the money/ they can also give explanation about huge unit consumed as per your bill. Which we have never seen such issue before, as there is no addition of any such electric equipment in the room.
        We have no idea how it happened and the room is still vacant and since CESC delayed to intimate/ generate the bill for about 5 months, hence being jobless and I am not able to pay the bill of such amount.
        Generally delay bill payment attracts penalty from you, then what about CESC sending bill delayed by 5 months? How much penalty we will impose on CESC?
        FIY: The bill amount is really absurd, which is seen as per past many years’ bills. Hence we have not got any justification about this absurd huge bill. The same happened for my wife’s flat at Jadavpur, but CESC accepted their mistake and revised the bill from Rs.16000 to 700 amount upon enquiry to Mandevilla cesc office. This is one of the many instance where a huge mistake made by CESC.
        Your favourable reply is expected soon.
        Note though the room remained vacant now as well as during COVID-19, but I will pay the meter rent for the Covid19 period immediately if you allow me to pay it.

        i am still waiting for my issue to get resolved. In the meantime I found that CESC without any intimation may be on first week of March' has disconnected the wire connection to the meter and so recently 5 days back I astonishingly after entering the vacant flat found there is no power. This is pathetic. I have full faith o this website to resolve my case by CESC.

            My last electricity bill from 17/12/2020 to 16/1/2021 is Rs840.I paid the bill online on 18/02/2021 but during my online payment of bill an amount of Rs1680 (double) has been deducted from my account but I have not got the extra amount (Rs840) refunded to my account.

                Rs 2320 has been deducted from my account towards payment on customer id [protected] at 07:25 am on 16th February, but after payment there's no confirmation from CESC, and the fund get deducted from my account. I have made payment through my debit card.. kindly look into the issue n solve it. Thank you

                      1) Though I am receiving the monthly bill regularly but can not pay the same as "Please do not pay this bill" is printed on it. The amount is perhaps deducted from the security deposit. Please look into the matter so that the bill is paid by me regularly.

                        This is to inform you that I have submitted complaint letter with every supporting relevant documents docket no.

                        Regarding this matter.
                        But sorry to say they have not taken any action till date.
                        On the month of June 2020 bill received of amount Rs 7280/- against unit reading 9126 whereas actually appeared in meter 8001 unit.
                        Apart from this they have sent many more bills without correcting the abnormal with pseudo printed reading which has been paid to you, now bill received for the month of December Rs 1150/- includes emi Rs 517.92 out of 10 installment.
                        Now present reading appeared in meter actually 8535 on 27th January 2021 by CESC representative.
                        Now is questions to you
                        Why i pay the installment of excess of pseudo reading bill? and
                        who can compensate me for excess payment given to you than accruals?
                        So, I request to you kindly correct my reading and refund my excess payment to you which have been already paid to you according to your wrong bill immediately
                        Again I request to you kindly take drastic action against this harassment to me .

                          To whosoever it may concern,

                          Please note in the aforementioned Nov 2020 bill, that the "Value of consumed units earlier kept in abeyance - Month wise Details" is incorrect.

                          For May 20 (bill # [protected]/05203), the Units Billed earlier is not 1129 BUT 3074. We already paid this May 20 bill for 3074 units. Given this, actually we have paid as per the meter already. You have no case for charging us again based on payment for the May 2020 bill. Please correct the error.

                          The column E is correct, 97545(May20 reading)-93030(Jan20 reading) = 4515 units between Feb20 and May20. In column G it should actually be 425(Feb20, correct)+565(Mar20, correct)+451(Apr20 correct)+3074(May20, 1129 as mentioned is incorrect) = 4515 unit. So as you can easily see, everything has been paid fully and accurately for the May 2020 bill.

                          Please review and respond that the additional INR 19, 513.96 is no longer due (in 10 installements) and adjust accordingly.

                                It is to be stated that I, Shashi Nath Bose, reside at BL-Q; 2nd Floor; FL-A, 319 Panchanantala Lane, Metiabruz, Kolkata -700024 have complained about excessive electricity bills. Since the last 4 months I have received very high electricity bills from CESC Kolkata.

                                Bill Amount in the month of August 2020 Rs.2010/-
                                Bill Amount in the month of September 2020 Rs.1450/-
                                Bill Amount in the month of October 2020 Rs.1710/-
                                Bill Amount in the month of November 2020 Rs.1890/- (in winter season)

                                I have a doubt in my mind that either Electric Meter is not working properly or someone is doing Electric theft from our meter as we are unable to check what exactly is happening.

                                  Hi, I have 2 meters in my house ( Customer id [protected] and [protected]).Last 2 months, I am not staying in my house. The person who is staying is going to office from morning till evening ( 8.45 am to 7 pm). Due to that the person who comes to read the meter was not able to take actual reading. Can it be done on weekend otherwise the bills are coming on assumption. I have got sms for one meter to submit the actual reading within 24 hrs which I did. but didn't get the sms for another meter. Please suggest what should I do?
