Yesterday i pay my march month bill online through cesc official website my consumer no. Is ..[protected] and my customer id is ..[protected]
The status of my payment was not showing it show it is still due why?

    I sourindra bhattacharya (Customer id : [protected]), a former resident of sudakshina police housing, estate - a, block - s, flat -6, kolkata - 700047.
    I vacated my sudakshina police quarter on 06.03.2020. Thereafter i submitted a request for disconnection of electric supply on 17.03.2020 (Docket number : 1209634).
    But despite my disconnection request, i still received an electricity bill for the month of march 2020, whose amount is (Rs.3010) with (Total unit consumption - 369 units), where as i left my quarter on 06.03 2020.

        For the month of feb & march'2020 my house was lock & key. How CESC can send bill while I can see at meter that there is no usage for the previous two months. But Bill has been raised for the month of FEB & MARCH'20.
        I will not pay any amount .
        I want rebate for the mentioned bill.

          Dear sirs,
          With reference to above, i profoundly regret to state that the electricity bill amount, raised by cesc serampore, hooghly without noting down the meter reading amounting to rs.980.00 is too much on the higher side than the cost of the power is actually consumed in such a situation when the common people are suffering from the historic acute financial distress due to the lock-down for covid 19 pandemic. From the previous records, you may find that the average consumption of power is around 50 – 60 units which cost around rs.350/- to rs.360/-. Under the situation, please look into the matter and arrange to raise a fresh bill considering the previously average monthly consumption of power if it is done without the meter reading.
          Thanking you and anticipating an early action to enable me to pay the bill on time.

            False billing without meter reading in such pandemic situation
            Mails was send from cesc that no meter reading possible due to lack of man power
            Even in the in the same address none is residing and power consumption is almost zero however the bill send by cesc showing no difference between previous power reading and the present power reading showing * and for that cesc thought it is 197 unit consumed asfor the same in last year march 2019
            Company like cesc has turned out fraud and is cheating their consumer when every single penny matters for survival

              For this month electric bill you have exactly copied the same units of last year similar month's units and not the actual unit reading.
              This might be coincidence for 1 electric bill that the unit value is same in current month and similar month in last year but definitely not for all 5 electric bills. We have 5 electric bill and all have exactly the same units copied from similar month in last year. This is definitely not acceptable and its a kind of cheating with consumer.
              My last due date for all 5 bills is tomorrow that is 28.04.2020.
              I want this problem to sorted as soon as possible.

                Dear Sir,

                This is with regard to electricity theft and high electricity bills by CESC ltd and inability to register a complaint through phone.

                I am a working professional and reside at 121 GT road south Howrah, fazir bazar, 4th floor Howrah- 711101 and my consumer number is [protected].

                My bill of this month (April) is very high i.e. Rs. 1090 even though i am not there since 15th March 2020 .The whole month no one was there however for the month of March I used electricity for half of the month for which I paid Rs. 220 that is fair enough.

                I wanted to register this complaint but on the phone but it's not working and I am out of city since last one and half month.

                I need someone to address this issue as I am not getting even a way to lodge a complaint with this company.

                  I'm a resident of 117 nehru colony 3rd floor.

                  My consumption unit for this month is showing 183 unit for the period of 20 march 2020 to 18 april 2020 which is very high and not acceptable.

                  My average consumption goes to 50 unit/month.
                  But for this month it is too much, amounted ₹1220/-

                      With regret i want to draw your kind attention that for the lockdown the meter reading for the last month and current month was not taken and no bill was received by us. Inpite of not taking the reading you have sent us a message regarding bill where the charges are unexpectedly high. How can you do such a thing without proper reading!! Please look into the matter and do the needful as soon as possible.

                        Myself susmita ghosh residing at 40c post office road, kolkata-700028. My consumer id is [protected]. It is observed that my previous meter reading was 23505 and present reading is nil vide bill no. [protected]/03207 bill dated 12/04/2020. My average earlier monthly bills were within rs.500/-. This month i already paid rs.1220.00 through net banking as per current bill. You are aware that there is no income due to nationwide lockdown for covid 19 during last one month. Moreover, i did not stay at my flat since 15/03/2020. But surprisingly consumption o[censored]nit appeared 183.
                        Please look into the matter and adjust excess amount from my next bill.

                          Due to lockdown no person has come for metre reading but from cesc they sent high bill amounting to rs 7200 which is totally incorrect. My previous bill was rs 204 for the month of february and for january bill was rs 86 then how could our present bill which is for march is 7200. I am senior citizen staying alone not possible for me to pay such an incorrect high bill. Kindly look into the matter and solve it as soon as possible. I am enclosing today i. E 22.4.2020 metre reading for ready reference.

                            Hi sir,
                            This is a major complaint that cesc has sent a highly inflated and incorrect electric bill for the month of march, 2020.

                            This march month my total bill amount is inr 2920 and it shows that total units consumed are 347 for march, 2020 which exactly matches with units consumed for march, 2019.

                            My consumer number is [protected] and customer id is [protected].

                            We have not run air conditioner machine for the period from middle of february, 2020 till 19th march, 2020.

                            The total units consumed as 347 units are completely incorrect and highly inflated figure.

                            We are not going to pay this bill and we need proper justification from you on this bill amount.

                            We need you to let us know what was meter reading on 19th february, 2020 and what was meter reading on 19th march, 2020.

                            The bill amount for the months of jan, 2020 and feb, 2020 were inr 950 and 940 respectively.

                            The bill for january, 2020 is also attached along with bill for march, 2020.

                            We need to escalate this case to highest level in cesc and possibly west bengal consumer forum if we do not receive proper justification from you.

                              Kindly note this month i. E march 2020 due to lockdown no person has come for metre reading but from cesc we received an average bill amounting to rs 7200 which is totally incorrect. We have already paid an advance amount of rs 5130 to cesc due to previous average bill. After that we have received bill of rs 204 for february 2020 and january rs 86 as we have paid advance rs 5130 we don't have to pay anything for these two bill's. Kindly look into the matter as i am senior citizen. I am unable to pay this incorrect bill.

                                I would like into bring into your notice that the electricity bill which has been generated for the month of march is unduly high. I have been billed for an amount of rs 3420 including the taxes stating that the energy consumed is 498 units which isn't a correct figure. I haven't been using the acs. It's only the lights, fans, a laptop plugged in for around 8 hours sometimes.

                                It looks like that the amount which i have been charged is keeping in view the last years amount for the same month.

                                Kindly take a look into it as early as possible.

                                    I am not staying my house since december 2019. My december'19 (Consumption 1 unit) and january'20 (Consumption 0 unit) bills are actual and okay.
                                    But i have received estimated reading for february'20 (Estimated unit 21 but ideally it should be 0 or 1 unit) and estimated reading for march'20 bill is 56 units but ideally it should be 0 or 1 unit.


                                    Please don't send this type of high reading (Estimated) and take necessary action on it.
                                    I have consumed 1 to 2 units for these months (Feb & march) but you have claimed for 21+56=77 units prices. Please adjust it and take necessary action for this type of harassment.

                                        We haven't been staying at this residence since december 2019. It's completely locked. Till february 2020, there were no electricity charges.in march 2020, bill of rupees 750 came out of which around 580 is energy charges. How is this possible. There is nobody staying there. This could be a case of power theft or faulty meter. Please address this asap
