This is for your kind information that one transfer was installed in our building premises at chawa pawa apartment, vivekanand nagar, podrah, (Chunavati), howrah-711109. Though it is surrounded by brick boundry wall but the gate of the covered area is in side our premises. The gate has been damaged & for this it is in a dangerous position. I am attaching a photo graph with this complain for immidiate replacement of the gate.

    I have submitted my online connection form on 3rd August 2017, application vide reference no. 08/33268/17 (Annexure Form No. [protected]) .

    Inspection supposed to be done on 5th Aug 2017. I have not received any call to get this inspection done. When I called CESC South KOl office, they said I will receive a letter.
    I received a letter on same day afternoon, mentioning inspection done and they are not giving the connection as this building already have 6 connections.

    They forgot that building is having 6 flats. Also building is having common connection for Lift and Water pump. It needs 7 connections, 6 flats plus one common connection.

    If they claim they have done the inspection, they are supposed to call me to verify my identity and flat. This is never done. They went back by mentioning building is having 6 connections.

    After this I called up CESC on 12th Aug 2017 and they are reluctant to speak to me. Asked me to come to office on 14th Aug 2017. It seems they are not ready to support online application form. They need a middle man who will bribe them to get the connection.

    It will be great if you take this case to CESC and correct the new connection giving process that is followed. Also help me to get the connection ASAP.

        This is to inform you that regular long time electric supply break down is continuing in our locality since yesterday. Examination is going on in most of school in our area and consequently school going children are the greatest victimized they can not read, prepare themselves for examination and a great loss is contributing by cesc authority. Old aged & patient person are the worst sufferer and no other option available to rescue them. So please take necessary action to prevent it.

I understand that the subject meter is unable to register actual unit consumed and running very fast.             Dear sir/ madam,

            Address: sanyal building, 9b suren roy road, flat no 201, kolkata 700034
            We are two old retired person staying in the flat and usage is one tv/ 1 refrigerator/ 3 tube light/ 3 fans.
            For the above electricity consumption cesc is billing me above rs 1000 - rs 1500 per month and i have been paying them regularly.
            We do not use any washing machine/ ac/ mixie/ music system etc and half of the day we are not at home.
            I have complained to cesc online, but they are just not responding nor any action has been taken till date.
            Kindly take up the matter to resolve this issue of excess billing.

              When i took the connection supply was at 252 paresh majumder road but it is actually at my billing address and at lp 180/5/10/2/0. The earlier address is now non existent. Please update my records as i am facing problem when your technician attend to any faults. So please note that supply at and billing address will be the same. I have been asked to report the matter immediately.

                Dear sir/madam,

                This is to inform you that i have become exhausted facing major power faults repeatedly. Each & every time whenever power cuts, i register complaints to 1912 & regret to hear "its major fault"& power restores after almost 5 to 6 hours. If its due to loadshedding then also these sufferings can be consoled somehow but its major faults every time. But surprisingly in most of the cases only we few neighbours become sufferer but rest of the houses in our locality remains with smooth power supply.
                I would be obliged if you change the phase
                Of my connection to the other neighbors phase whose power remains unaffected during major faults.
                Would be very much obliged if you can make a permanent solution to this problem. Its very much painstaking when i see from my window that others enjoy uncut power facility but my 4 years old son suffers from heat along with other few holdings inmates nearby during repeated power faults.
                Hope that your efficient workforce will find a solution to this problem very soon.

                  Sir,
                  There is repeated power cut in our house on every satureday and sunday afternoon for nearly 2 hours, and it is not accidental power cut!! Each day one person open the box just beside the transformer, don't no doing what,,, after 2 to 3 minutes he closes the door... And leave the place. The same incidence is going on for last 4 weeks. There is no power cut in our neighbours house surprisingly (We enquired every time)!!!
                  The person who opened the door of transformer box replied that work is going on.. And power cut will continue for 2 to 3 hours.. But we could not found any person who is doing the repair work in our proximity.
                  Now my question is.. Why only we should suffer for 2 to 3 hours on every holiday?? When there is no interruption of power supply in my neighbours' places??
                  Some of your worker repllied previously that there is a problem in the transformer... It may burnt out,
                  My question is how much time is needed to repair a transformer??.. And why shd we suffer on every holiday??
                  My mother in law is 80 yrs old.. A patient of sick sinus syndrome with pacemaker implanted, should she deserves this type of harrasment???
                  We requested your personnel to look into the matter and solve the problem.. The person replied very harsely.. Stating that we should have back up services!!!
                  Now this is the situation!!
                  I am a doctor... I know that every service has some responsibilities. If a patient comes to my clinic and suddenly vomited there, i have no right to tell him that you should carry a container to hold your vomitous. So your personnel also should not tell like this that we should have back up!!!
                  Power cut is going on still. We hv infrormed in 1912 and miss anama dutta attended the call before 1 and half hour.. Assured us that she will look into the matter.
                  Still.. No solution... We are sufferring!!
                  Please look into the matter seriously... Otherwise we have to complain at consumer court.

                      With reference to the complaint subject we would like to bring to your kind attention that there is a need to repair the 3-phase junction box of our flat to avoid any accident as on several occasion there is current leakages leading to spark/fire hazard etc. Whenever we call cesc. Electricians attend but it is repaired by jointing old cables through taping resulting in repeat of the same thing within a few days. So we need to have a total remedy of the same as soon as possible by changing all cables and cirecuit breakers whatever is necessary. We are even ready to buy the necessary items. For this job.                           I have a complain against your billing for monthly electricity consumption.in the month of july i have got the bill of june'17 mentioned previous month unit reading 183 units but not mentioned present reading and you have charged 75 units for the month of june'17, then you have sent a sms on 21/7/2017 that, my consumption unit for this month (July'17) is 310. Whereas on 30/7/2017 my meter showing the unit is 390. So how it is possible! I am confused and worried also about my billing. Pl. Verify this bill and clarify me what is the actual as immediate.

                              Calcutta electric supply corporation [cesc] — short circuiting of overhead supply line due to overgrowth of tree

                              I am a resident of lake gardens aged 87 years. My customer id is [protected]. Opposite your lp 107/2/2 there is a gulmohar tree is leaning dangerously on your overhead supply wires. The foliage is covering at least 100 ft of your supply line. A couple of days back there was a huge spark on your lp107/2/2. A few years back during monsoon time, due to short circuiting there was a fire and the line snapped resulting in disruption of power supply in adjoining area. Also the tree appears to be unstable and we are afraid that it may snap your supply line any moment resulting in a major disaster.. Subir roy
