Address: 700039

From 8.8.16 at 7 pm i have lodged 3 dockets ([protected], [protected],[protected] complaining that sparks are coming out from meter box followed by burning smells. We do not have electricity also till then, but till now (10 a. M. Dtd. 9.08.16) no cesc person came yet. I have phoned atleast 7 - 8 times. No electricity, no water in the house. What to do??

    Consumer no. [protected]
    My last month reading was 251 units but this month the reading was zero.
    How it could be possible and you will charge the bill in the next month.
    This shows that the cesc employees are irresponsible towards their work and harasses the customers regularly

      Online Bill Payment Problem

      Paid the bill of Rs.8100 using UBI Visa Debit Card and the payment was processed successfully and routed back to the CESC site where the message displayed was
      "SORRY, NETWORK ISSUE
      PLEASE TRY AFTER SOME TIME"

      No receipt was generated and calling LT Helpline[protected] didn't solve the problem either, they said the payment was not yet reflected and have to wait 48 hours else...

        I am a resident of lake gardens aged 87 years. My customer id is [protected]. Opposite your lp 107/2/2 there is a gulmohar tree whose overgrown branches and foliage are covering a stretch of about 100 feet of your overhead supply wires. A few years back during monsoon time, due to short circuiting there was a fire and the line snapped resulting in disruption of power supply in adjoining area. Also the tree appears to be unstable and we are afraid that it may land on your supply line any moment resulting in a major disaster.

          I, bornali ghatak a consumer of your restless service (Consumer no. [protected], customer id: [protected]) had been enjoying your service for a long... Actually the meter was earlier in my mother's name (Smt. Anjali bhattacharya)... But just a few months earlier i have changed the proprietorship of the meter and renewed the connection in my name... But for last two months i have been observing an unnatural hike in the amount... Although i am using the same electronic gadgets and for the same duration... Sir/mam it's my earnest request to permit me for a meter checking and suggest me to do the needful... Your cooperation is highly expected...

My family and i do not stay at home throughoutb the day and use computer, lights and light only in the night, so how am i billed so high. Please solve my problem immediately or else my line will be disconnected on 29.7.2016

              Dear sir,

              This is really frustrating. This is now for second consecutive month that you have send me an incorrect bill. Even after i have paid for the month of may '16 why i have again received green bill for the month of june'16. Please see the attached receipt for the month of may'16.

              If you think that the people in cash collection department are not serious enough, then it's your responsibility to get that escalated. Why customer should suffer for that?

              You please send me the correct bill so that i can pay on time. I cannot go to head office again and again for correction.

                  Overhead line at dhakuria, selimpur lane, gupta para is at threat because a tree has grown up in such manner that due to storm or heavy rain branches of such tree may cause serious damage to the overhead line.

                  We tried to trim the branches with the help of corporation people who advised that trimming can be done in presence of cesc people.

                  We are requesting to take some step for the safety of locality as well as your overhead line

                    There is a small mistake in my electricity bill. It should be 2nd floor instead of 1st floor. I have written a mail on 14/7/2016 to cesc and on 15/7/2016 received a txt message in my phone that "

                    "dear consumer, kindly note with reference to your request vide docket[protected], we have updated our records."

                    Today (On 19/7/2016) i have check cesc site and seen no change is done yet.

                    Pls advice what should i do next.
                    I have given all my mutation certificate, kmc tax invoice and payment receipt, deed copy as supporting of my request.

                      Consumer no. [protected] (domestic type)
                      Cesc had changed my meter to defective electronic meter and the number is[protected]. i have only one room in this house and i am using the following electrical apparatus for your kind perusal.:-
                      1 double door refrigerator unit consumed as per cesc 68 units.
                      1 fan unit consumed as per cesc 46 units.
                      1 tube light unit consumed as per cesc 12 units.
                      1 colour tv unit consumed as per cesc 12 units.
                      1 cfl lamp 40 watt unit consumed as per cesc 12 units.
                      Total units consumed as per assumption of cesc 150 units.
                      But the electronic meter is showing 559 units. this is serious matter for us people to afford.
                      When i shouted for reconsider my case the on 13.07.2016 at counter no. 4 at 14.21 and even asst. manager (comm) are unable and told me that the amendment could not be done you have to pay the whole amount.
                      I think this is a kind of docoaity which cesc is doing with a noble, gentle and honest man by means of this defective electronic meter.

                          An SMS dated 9 July 2016 was received by me conveying that an amount of Rs. 5590/- (Rs. Five thousand nine hundred ninety only) has been raised as electricity charges for the month of June 2016 in respect to my house at Flat No. 10, Ananya Apartment, Zahura Bazar Lane, P.O. Kasba, Kolkata-42. Prior to another SMS dated 27 June 2016 conveyed consumption of power as 327 units. I wonder where an average consumption never went beyond 375 in a month, how CESC could charge Rs. 5590 against a consumption unit of Rs. 327!
                          I request your immediate rectification and sending of the bill before to me for any payment to be made. A rectified bill should be sent forthwith or an intimation by SMS is solicited on any rectification.

                            I have two separate meter in my premises our of which, consumer number [protected], where owing to personal reason, concern person is nether staying nor using any electrical equipment, resulting almost nominal account being reflected in the bill and being asked repeatedly not to pay the concern bill, and bill is needed to be paid in the next cycle. but, surprising i have received a bill in this month, that is, the month of june bill, which appeared as green bill and despite the unit consumption being reflected as zero, but the amount is directed to be paid is rs.1030/, which is utterly perplexing. besides, previous last two months respectively, despite i was present in the house as i had received the message prior to the visit of the person suppose to take the meter reading, and i have noticed him loitering in my area, but, amazing ignored to attend my house. consequently, it is evident to me that your company has forwarded a bill in terms of average consumption. i would like to request to resolve my problem at your earliest to mitigate my plight, failing which, i will be forced to resort to proper legal formal for my matter to be redressed.

                                I am really upset as i have called cesc from over a month regarding high bill and meter not giving reading. Every time sumone pick up in 1912 they say they will call back but they dont. Again and again i have to do this. My daughter also made a complain online regarding high bill and meter problem.
                                Now that meter is not working who is responisble to change it.
                                A man finally arrived after online complain and said your meter is bad we will change it but dont know when.
                                I am really tired of paying bills for like 5000 and 4000 as my usage is not that high.

                                  On 17/6 while i was paying my bill rs2580/- through net banking of central bank of india the 1st payment showed no response then i tried 2nd time which was successful but next day when i enquired my bank a/c it showd the a/c has been debited twice with trxn code 1055 and 8103.pl confirm and remit me the excess amt of rs 2580/- to my a/c-[protected] of central bank of india or adjust with the next biils.

                                      Nobody is lifting phones on Grievance Readdress lines {[protected] lines) /[protected] lines)} during our several attempts on 23rd (Thu) & 42th (Fri)!!
