Sir/s,

CESC Bill for the month of April 2016 amounting to Rs 1, 720.00 was paid on[protected] through NET BANKING (BIL/[protected]/PGMIB-May'16 CESC Bi/CESC_FICI45) from ICICI Savings Account Number:[protected].

The same payment is also clearly reflecting in the respective bank statement.

Yet, DISCONNECTION NOTICE and BILL for the month of May 2016 is sent wherein an outstanding amount of Rs 1763.13 is showing.

An immediate corrective action is sought with intimation to me.

    the transaction has been declined from your side but the amount was debited from my bank. please do the needful. I have been contacted in the bank but they told me to please mail to the cese once against your failed order and amount deduced Matter

      The bill of Consumer no - [protected], Customer Id - [protected] is rs 3540 which is not acceptable because we do not use electricity in such a level.There is a great mistake.From few months we have noticed that sometimes the electricity bill is too high where we donot use electricity at that level.Please look into this matter.My grand mother Ratna Biswas is a pensioner and an old lady.For simple people its quite difficult to pay such amount without any reason.Sometimes it comes 2500 or 1700 but this time it reached at high level.In the previous month it came rs 500.Please solve this issue.I shall be highly obliged if cesc take a step regarding this.

I have paid the last month bill (Rs. 1500/-) twice through my debit card using BillDesk payment gateway and getting error after payment saying that invalid response where as payment already debited from my account twice.           My last electricity bill sent by cesc has raised to 10 times of my consumption. My normal consumption are between rs. 1000 inr to 1300 inr & the bill sent by cesc for the month of may 2016 is around 6400 inr. Tallying my last 3 years consumption, it was well between the same range. So, i filed a complaint with them & docket number was given to me, upon which they had called me asking me that whether any new electrical appliances was installed or there was any ceremony in the last month, if no they had asked me to get an electrician & check my home connections. I than told them that it has been 6 months that i had any ceremonial functions at my home & there was no new appliance that was fitted in the past 3 months or what so ever. I even had an electrician checked all my house connections, sparing the time & money from my own pocket. But now since than i'm trying to get a positive feedback from them, but there is no help at all. The due date for the payment is coming near & if not paid there will penalty & may lead to disconnection. My request to you, if you please kindly look in to the situation. I will be grateful to you.

          Only after posting a complaint CESC had sent their Engineers to check my meter, there was a problem detected, but they did not bother explaining us what was the problem on the 22nd June & I was asked not to pay the present disputed bill which had a due date on the 24th June 2016 & was also told that they would be giving their reports after which I would be contacted by the respective department in the next 24 hours & would let me know whether they is revised bill or not . But as of today nobody has contacted me either. I tried calling & even emailing but there is no response whatsoever. I fear that I will be charged penalty as this disputed bill has not been paid within the due date. We would really appreciate your help.

            Bill for May 2016 was paid online today (16.6.2016) which was Rs 340.00. At the time our S.B.I. bank confirmed the payment of Rs 340.00 to C.E.S.C. the website shut down and complained of Link failure. So there was no message about payment and we could not take a print out of the paid Bill.
            Also we did not receive any e-mail confirmation or any message on our phone of the payment being made.
            We also updated our passbook to check whether our Bank had made the payment, and found that Rs 340 has been paid to you.

            Now kindly check your computers and kindly update our May Bill to paid and also e-mail and send us a message on our mobile about the same.

            We have three meters /houses where online payment is being made and if this is not resolved in our favor we shall then take only paper Bills for making payment.

              Excessive meter reading

              Please note that in last two consecutive months I have received meter reading noted by you are 381 units & 361 units respectively in against of my above-mentioned Customer id No. ([protected]) which I think is not at all correct. I would request you to kindly check the meter and take the necessary measures to get the correct reading. Hope, you will do the needful and oblige.

E. 15.06.2016 through online payment but i did not get any receipt. Cant find a helpline number for the same to address my issue. Due date is 16.06.2016. Don't know if bill paid or not and amount is debited from my account. Please help at the earliest.

                Sub: disproportionately high electric bills.
                Dear sir,
                This is to inform you that i md anwar hossain having customer id: [protected] and consumer no. [protected] is a resident of flat no. 4fc, naya basti (Brace bridge), b. B. T. Road, kolkata-700088, lp-36/1.
                I would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that you have sent a bill of march, 2016 and from the said bill it was reflected that my total consumption of electricity was 271 units as per meter reading dated 08.04.2016 and on 15th may 2016 i have paid the said electric bill via net banking.
                Thereafter, i have received a bill of april, 2016 where i found that my total consumption of electricity for the month of april, 2016 is about 604 units which are more than double from the previous months. From the last year record it was found that in the same time i have consumed only 302 units. But in this time it is 604 units i. E. Double. There hasn’t been any extra ordinary consumption nor have i installed any further electric gadgets.
                There seems to be some issues or malice in the units being consumed under the electric meter allotted to me. My details are given hereunder, i would sincerely request if you could kindly check the same at your end and an engineer could kindly visit my premises for checking the meter and meter reading etc.
                I would request you to kindly look into the matter and take remedial measure against such excessive bill and arrange to check my meter from your end.

                      I applied for new connection on line vide application no[protected] and mr no.8/08581/16 dated 14/05/2016 and your inspection was done on 17/05/2016. But till date neither you take any step nor send any acknowledgement in this concern.. Complain for delay also lodged on 29/5/2016 and 04/06/2016 to this side. What's a shame service from your end!

                      Please inform me whether you are capable to proceed further or not.

                        A new meter was installed against above consumer no. Replacing old meter no. 1837317 on 01.06.2016. After replacing the meter, cesc people wrongly connected the line to 2 phase instead of 3 phase, thereby making a faulty connection. On start, my electric line connected with the above meter caused minor blasts and damaged my computer/ tv set top box/ 2 fans/ 2 tubes and decorative lights in the temple causing me a good amount of loss and tension. I had to immediately replace 2 fans/ 2 whole set of tube lights/ set top box and got my computer repaired at a cost of more than rs.7000/- your cesc people even did not inform me to shut all the connections connected with the above meter before starting the work luckily i was at home, so could call my local electrician to guide your people to connect in a correct way, otherwise, it could have been a big incident.
                        Now, suggest me the way to get compensation for the loss, without any fault of mine

                          This is the third time i am going to complain it, next time i it will be through consumer foroum,
                          I am pay a huge amount of bill on domestic line,
                          After off my mcb all line are closed but my meeter red light will bling continuasly, thats ment the line are still going,
                          This is happned from last one year, when your person are changed my connection line.
                          It will reflect on my bills, if you not send some body to rectify it then it will be very complicated for you.
                          Because i have chequed all my nebours bill, they will pay less amount even a. C. Use. Please resolve it asap.

                            Complaint about my bill which always is on the higher side compare to other user in this flats.
                            Consumer number [protected].
                            I had been using one 1.5 ton AC which only runs at night. 4 tube lights again only runs at night and at the most 2 fans runs in the day.
                            Hereby I would like to request you to kindly check my meter whether it is reading correctly or not.
                            It may also happen if some other user is connected with my meter I suspect so.

                              I have paied CESC bill through net banking and the transaction status was successful.However i have received a message from CESC saying that my bill has not been paid yet.
                              Since the amount has been deducted, I am not able to understand what to do now regarding this..I tried to check the the bill payment status but could not find the link for it.

                              On 29.05.16 night there was tremendous voltage flactuations of power supply in our building causing damage to electric/ electronic gadgets. I being an electrical engineer could switch off major equiments but my portable hand phone was totally damaged. Since this is due to erratic cesc supply i demand a compensation to replace the set which will cost me around rs.4000. Please confirm per return.                                 I paid Rs 4510 thru netbanking of indian bank as my electricity bill for apr16; cesc kolkata's online payment website promoted paytm as payment gateway;i made the payment thru them but cesc now saying they never received my payment though by bank a/c shows same sum had been debited from my a/c; last date is 1st june that means i have to again pay the money to cesc; is cesc handi glove with paytm in some scam? how do i get this solved?

                                My cesc customer id: [protected]; consumer no [protected] bill no [protected]; i paid rs 4510 thru indian bank net benking via cesc, kolkata's online bill payment website thru payment gateway paytm given in the site; now they say they havent received my payment though my indian bank shows my a/c had been debited by the same amount on 260516 for paytm-[protected]/paytm/thru netbanking ref:[protected]/05/[protected]Indian bank; cesc keeps saying they are not responsible for promoting paytm in their website. how can it be resolved? last date of payment is 1st june i will have to pay again?

                                  My consumer no. Is [protected] address: flat 3a, 244, parnasree pally, kolkata - 700 060. Mobile no. [protected].

                                  Last one week we are suffering huge frequent power off problem. Each time i hav complained and after some times automatically power on. My few docket nos. Are [protected], [protected], [protected]. Last 24/05/16 cesc supervisor came to visit out building and inform cesc form temporary main line hook from poll to main. Cesc workers came and fitted temporary wire from poll to main. They said "this is temporary action. Permanently we will solve the problem from main poll on next day. But surprisingly till now no one came to the site and neither the problem solve. I am also visit your office on saturday and again complain in writing. The docket no. Is[protected] dt 28/05/16.
                                  Please do the necessary action as early as possible and relife me.

                                    Please understand that my monthly average bill comes around rs 1200 and it is difficult to suddenly pay an amount in excess of rs 10, 000 due to incorrect meter reading by your staff.
