Average unit consumed : between 36 to 84 per month
(One tube light, one night bulb, one ceiling fan, one t. V. & mobile charging s)

Probable mistake by the person taking reading, he came in late evening (In dark) and/or he typed 1084 unit instead of just 84 unit,
Resulting the gross payable amount : rs. 9940/- in april 2016 bill.

Being an ordinary taxi driver, how come it is possible for me to pay a big amount like this.

    Kindly note that i am md anwar, my consumer no [protected]. I have been complaininga bout my excess electricity bill for the past 7-8 months at shyambazar cesc office, but there has been no response & till date no one has turned up to check my meter. I have 2 rooms with a fans & a light in each, a fridge, a television, a cfl light in wash room & kitchen each. I have not anything new since past 1 year but my bill has been ever increasing! Today, i received an sms for electricity bill for the month of april 2016 amounting to rs 2970. I have no clue how can my bill shoot so high. My bill for the month of march 2016 was rs 1370. Please help me in this regard.

      Please provide me the process of printing receipt of monthly bill payment, the bill already paid through your bill payment gateway(via Paytm). Its a funny for this organization i.e. CESC that no easy process been given in their website nor any helpline toll-free no exists in this regard.They always emphasis on the chargeable phone nos for the communication, The organization is not only a big but also hold the maximum electricity in greater Kolkata. The advertisement in your website shows that much more facility is given but it is a furse. Related to monthly bill payment several payment gateways were provided but totally ambiguous as often even after successful payment ther is always a suspense as most of the time a message come "Your pament is unsuccessful". Either this fake message should be sent to the genuine paid bill customer, also there should easy user interface for quick printing of bill payment receipt otherwise your customer shouldn't take it in good faith.

          Cesc bill customer id [protected] rs 150/- paid on 11.04.2016 through net
          Banking in cesc website by using paytm get way, unfortunately no receipts
          Issue from your site any technical problem. But the amount not updated to
          Your department and also not refund my bank.
          Now the situation is paytm inform us that this transaction was successful from paytm end and if merchant is denying for the payment then kindly share the mail conversation between you and merchant so that we can check and assist you in a better way which i already attach.
          Again cesc information the payment has not been received cesc till date. Kindly contact to your banker after said period for refund of the said amount.
          We are request to cesc and also paytm if return the amount in my bank plz send any refund transaction number by which received our bank.

          Last one month paytm and cesc unable to solve my problem.

                I am holding cosumer id no. [protected], name gautam mazumder. As per your msg of meter reading unit stands 413 units, which is ridiculous. As my ac was defuntiong since last 15 days. 2 ceiling fan, 1 table fan and 3 cf lamps can't cosume of 413 units, does not stand good. Kindly change my meter as it is giving it's reading error.

                Please note, the meter should be replaced with new one immediately.

Correspondences with these ids such as planning of providing acs or other payments also sent to my mobile.                         Electricity Theft
                        Dear Sir,
                        My electric consumer no. [protected].
                        Electric Theft has been done from the sub meter of the main meter.
                        The user who is suspected for theft uses a heater, iron, 3 fans, fridge, lights and other electronic accessories still they are receiving a monthly bill of approximately Rs.500 per month.
                        Whereas the Bill coming to ours is more than 1000.
                        I suspect they are breaking the meter and connecting it direct to the mains and using the current, which is a theft.
                        I live at their locality and we people are making this complaint about their theft, previously also they hooked current from main lines ans still they're continuing.
                        As a responsible citizen towards your organization I request you to take serious action against them.

                          During last one month during afternoon (1pm-4pm) & evening-night (7pm to 1 am) voltage is considerably low. Tube lights are flickering, a/c can not be run-due to vibration during low voltage, once coil leakage already happened and rectified, a/c power supply plug female & top melted twice. We are waiting for big mishap (Accident) due to low voltage related problem which will be caused due to the negligence of the cesc.                                   My electricity bill for mrs shefali deb, customer i. D [protected]., consumer no [protected] was rs 9750/- which is very excessive and absurd. I had paid for the last 6 - 7 months about rs 800 +, but suddenly this month it shot up, whereas i had not used anything extra except light and fan. Previously my tenant, who left 6 -7 moths back used server & a/c for his computers, but now he is no longer there. Above all, your men came to take meter reading on 21st as per your circular, but was unable to read it for some reasons that he knows better, whereas my doors were open as house maintenance was carried out. I received this message on my mobile as sms from you. Please check what is the reason behind for this high meter reading as you have all the necessary details with you. It's a real burden for a middle class, retired man to pay such a hefty amount.

                                      Very stupid persona are there in cese division. No one is interested in doing honestly job. I had made a complaint on saturday early morning at 6-30 am but till supply is off. My complaints no. Is [protected]. Without restore my complaint is closed. How stupid. Cesc motive is to make a fool and cheat the consumers.
