Hi, My consumer number is [protected], From the last few month I am getting cesc bill which is exceeding my expected limit, I don't have AC, heater and any other high consumption device but My bill is always higher that 1800 rs, please look into this. Thanks and regards Md Akhtar

Since over nearly last one year, the monthly electricity bill is coming nearly double against corresponding month of last year for every month. We have checked the internal wiring and found to be correct.

Our family size is small comprising of three members; two out of members remain out from 10 am to 8 pm on job. We do not find reasons for such high consumption of power. I would therefore request you to kindly arrange for early check up of the meters under advice to me. A copy of paid bill is enclosed herewith for you reference. Hope, you will do the needful.

I have received a bill dated 05/06/2015 from you on my e mail amounting to Rs 10490/ This is very high looking at my previous consumptions I took the meter reading which showed 33394 It is pertinent to note that the meter reading in April bill was mentioned as 32863 As such the electricity consumption comes to 531 units It seems your meter reader inadverrtantly has taken wrong reading I request you to rectify the mistake An early action in this regard will be highly appreciable as the last date of bill payment is 17/06/2015

Your representative read my my new meter no-5114081 for the month of Mar/15 163 units April/15 177 units and May/15 215 units, total 555 units.
But you have send the bill for May/15 is 555 units with higher slab and bill is high, but actual units distribute above three consecutive months in actual slab.
Moreover, i am already paid advance payment Rs700/- & 1000/- for the month of Mar/15 & April/15.
So you are requested to correct amount in actual slab wise bill send to me for May/15 bill.

    A tree is heavily resting on the connecting live wire of our house connection providing pole no.Lp 49/50/5/1 with its branches resulting in the hazards:

    I) fluctuation in supply causing damage of numbers of electrical gadgets in the recent past;
    Ii) since, the live line is following the approach road of our house, through which tens, if not hundreds of people pass throughout the day, eventuality of serious accident cannot be ruled out and life danger is imminent;

    The matter was recorded with you vide the captioned docket and as a follow-up measure two representative from your end visited, inspected and interacted with us and ultimate assured us that they will submit their report and the redressal will be done at the earliest. After waiting reasonably, we contacted over phone mentioned on the obverse of the monthly bill and initially, we were told by a lady that there was no recorded complaint from our end. In reply, when we mentioned the captioned docket, we were advised to hold on and the line was transferred to a gentleman, who also initially denied about of any existing complaint but, when we narrated the earlier happenings as stated above, he immediately told us oh. Since it is a big tree we cannot redress it and snapped the line. But, after a few minutes he called me back and gave me a new docket no.[protected] dt. 26/05/2014 and enquired from me whether i can arrange for necessary labourer for cutting the tree and then he will arrange to disconect the line temporarily during the operation. In response, i said firstly the tree does not belong to me and secondly your company is making business of rs.11, 000/- approx. On monthly basis from our house and it should be yourprimary and sole responsibily to ensure uninterrupted/stable supply so that no damage to the gadgets or casualty to life happens. Then only, the gentleman assured me representative from your end will come and do the needful. But, till date nothing has happened and the situation has become more serious.

    We, therefore, onceagain putting the matter on record with the hope of immediate appropriate action or otherwise we will have no other option but to lodge an fir and
    Compensation claim if any further untoward incident takes place.

      My bill for June 2014 is exorbitantly high (almost 5 times the amount for last month). The bill amount for June is Rs 2550 whereas it was only Rs 577 for May. The consumed units of 394 is insanely high as I don't have air conditioner or high consuming appliances. You have either read it incorrectly or someone is tapping power. Please investigate and resolve the matter at the earliest.

        I, Amitava Saha already submited a objection letter dated on 7/7/2014 but any responce not to be taken from your side.So I Amitava Saha being the sole owner of premises NO L-212 or 414/A, is same primises no Netaji colony.Kolkata-700090, do hereby inform you that someone is trying to install the new service within the span of 3ft gap in between two primises 414 Netaji Colony and 414/A, Netaji Colony kol-700090 that will cause obstruction infuture.Any one can not stand freely there within such short space. A supply service inspection at site has been carried out already.Please stop providing new service thereat in view of the above situation. please do not proceed further in this matter failing which I shall have no any other option but to resort to LAW for the same.Please stop it now.           Dear Sir My consumer no is [protected], for the month of June I have sent bill of amount 2160/- with unit consumed 306 . Which is absolutely incorrect, if you see my average monthly bill it never exceeded more then 120 units, My previous meter reading in the month of May was 5191 till 24 may, after that I checked meter myself physically on 05th July 2014 the reading was 5306, that means only 115 units was consumed, but as per the bill sent to me, the reading is 5497, so you can see there is a huge difference between actual reading and the virtual reading given the reader to you, On 5th July I also complained at your customer care no 22256040, I was told that a fresh bill will be sent again to me within 10 days, I asked for docket no but I was told it is not required. Today is 21st Jul but still no fresh bill is sent to me . So I could not deposit my bill till now for the month of June . Please look into this and kindly send my actual bill asap .             Our consumer nos. is [protected] . It is very astonishing to find that our electricity bill supplied by you showing a tremendous increase in consumption in the month of June, 2014 though there is no such electrical gadgets are used as may be marked from our consumption units for last one year. But statistics showing a huge amount of billing comparing with the last year as well as the amount before the month of June, 2014.

            Again your inspector came for taking the meter reading occasionally although our active family members are always physically present in our house. SO IT IS VERY AMBIGUOUS HOW THE UNIT CONSUMPTION IS MEASURED.

            We hope you should take proper steps to clarify the situation and take necessary action to control the wrong or manipulations what so ever be called from your end for the next billing.

            My consumer number is "[protected]", and I have received an SMS that my last month(Sept'14) is Rs.1870 (Net) which is due for 5th Nov'14 . This amount of Rs. 1870 is absolutely not acceptable as we do not use any AC/Washing Machine/Microwave Oven and at the same time I need to inform you that out of 24 hours in a day we are out of home for at least 10 to 12 hrs. This is not the only time that the bill amount is very high, it has been going on for the past one and half years time.
            I request the concerned authorities to look into the matter as fast as possible.

              This complaint is for Consumer # [protected]. The meter for this consumer number is not giving correct reading as a result of which the bill amount is coming huge every month. We have complained several times and every time the people from company comes and says they will repair the meter board but they never appear after that. We are from middle class family and are unable to pay such huge wrong amount every month. Please kindly do needful to repair the meter for this consumer id urgently.                 This has reference to my Electricity Bill of Consumer No. [protected] for the month of May 2014 and June 2014 in the name of PRADIP GUHA. I would like to draw your kind attention for the grave inconsistencies in aforesaid consecutive Bills as explained herein under: which has serious financial impact on me:

                A) Discrepancies in my Electricity Bill for the month of May 2014
                1.0 Meter Reading for the month of May 2014 has been specified in the Bill as ****** against 7567 (As noted by your representative on the date of Meter Reading i.e. 04.06.2014).
                2.0 Unit Consumed has been specified as 50 against 433 i.e. (7567 – 7134 = 433)
                3.0 Energy Charges has been specified as Rs. 217.00 against Rs. 2, 816.65 i.e. ([protected]@Rs. 4.12 + [protected]@Rs. 4.56 + [protected]@Rs. 5.53 + [protected]@Rs. 6.28 + [protected]@Rs. 6.41 + [protected]@Rs. 7.95 = Rs.2, 816.65
                4.0 Difference towards Energy Charges in the month of May 2014 = Rs. 2, 599.65 i.e. (Rs. 2, 816.65 – Rs. 217.00)
                5.0 Hence, amount payable by me for the month of May 2014 due to computation mistake by your official is Rs. 2, 599.65 only.
                B) Discrepancies in my Electricity Bill for the month of June 2014 (received on 14.07.2014 through my mail box)
                1.0 Meter Reading for the month of June 2014 has been specified in the Bill Present as 7184 against 7924 (As noted by your representative on the date of Meter Reading i.e. 03.07.2014) and Previous as ****** (?????) against 7567 (As noted by your representative on the date of Meter Reading i.e. 04.06.2014).
                2.0 Unit Consumed has been specified as Blank against 357 i.e. (7924 – 7567 = 357)
                3.0 Energy Charges has been specified as Blank against Rs. 2, 212.45 i.e. ([protected]@Rs. 4.12 + [protected]@Rs. 4.56 + [protected]@Rs. 5.53 + [protected]@Rs. 6.28 + [protected]@Rs. 6.41 + [protected]@Rs. 7.95 = Rs.2, 212.45)
                4.0 Difference towards Energy Charges in the month of June 2014 = Rs. 2, 212.45 i.e. (Rs. 2, 212.45 – NIL)
                5.0 Note: Please do not pay this Bill
                I earnestly request you to take immediate action for computation my Electricity Bill for the month of May 2014 and June 2014 properly month wise, (not cumulative repeat not cumulative) by engaging a capable official and send it to me immediately. Hope, you understand what I want to mean regarding method of computation.
                I being a senior citizen am compelled to write this type of obnoxious letter to you for a careless work done by an official of a company of your repute.
                You will kindly appreciate that being a Pensioner, for no fault of mine financially I should not taxed when your official is not serious.
                Hope, you will oblige me by sending me corrected computed Electricity Bill for the month of May 2014 and June 2014 at earliest.

                  My consumer number is [protected]. I stay outside West Bengal and visit my flat once in three/four months. Therefore, I had got my consumer number registered with the Internet Banking Facility of State Bank of India. I was getting my bill information online through the internet banking portal of the Bank and made payment through net banking. The arrangement continued for quite some time without any hindrance. But I have not received any bill information in last three months and I am worried what went wrong. I want to know why I am not getting the bill information and whether any payment has become due in the meantime.

                    References : Name : METROTEK, Customer ID [protected], Consumer No. [protected] Complain no. 1 : Our meter reading was noted at the end of June-2014. But it is mentioned as unread in the Bill for 2014. You charged abnormally Rs. 3140/- in this bill. I request you to take necessary care to avoid such mistake. Complain No. 2 : I tried to inform above complaint to the mobile (+91) [protected] three times yesterday(17.07.2014) between 12:30 pm to 1 pm. But nobody picked up the phone to note my complaint. Complain No. 3 : Our meter reading at end of April, 2013 was 19005 unit as given in your Bill, April, 2013. As on to day(18 July 2014) actual meter reading is 19958. But in your Bill, May 2014, it is written as 21672. If I consider actual reading, total energy consumed from April, 2013 to this day is 953 units. So energy charges in this period should be Rs. 5336.80 only. Actually you charged for Energy consumption in this period due to irregular meter reading as follows Month Energy charges May 2013 Rs. 1422.40 June 2013 Rs. 1433.60 July 2013 Rs. 1523.20 August 2013 Rs.1120.00 September 2013 Rs, 1568.00 October 2013 Rs.1556.80 November 2013 Rs. 1439.20 December 2013 Rs. 840.00 January 2014 Rs. 0.00 February 2014 Rs. 0.00 March 2014 Rs. 4032.00 April 2014 Rs 0.00 May 2014 Rs. 0.00 June 2014 Rs 2620.80 Total : Rs. 17555.80 I paid all the Bills in time. That means I already overpaid Rs 12, 219.00. So I am requesting you to adjust this overpaid amount in every month's full billed amount and show this overpaid amount from your next bill

                      Sir, My self is the owner of a Flat out of seven flats at the apartment. The Flat is connected by CESC power line since 1991. Now, in between 1991 to 2014 neither any cleaning or checking of power cables done by us or the CESC. Now, we are facing some earthing problem in some flats, contacted local Mistry, who are in opinion that arrangement should be done for re-arrange the power connections to the Meters with proper checking.                         In the month of February a repairing done from your side and suddenly after that month the bills started to going higher and higher each and every month as it was Rs.1190/- in the month of February 2014 and for March and April Rs.4930/- for May 2014 it was Rs.2690/-.Previously it was around Rs.500/- in 2011 which suddenly gone high up to Rs.1000/- from then I complaint but no inspection done only a reply I got that the bill is reflecting original usage where to control I even changed my wiring and all the electrical appliances to energy efficient as Bulbs and tube lights to CFL but no change in the bills amounted.
                        Please Help me to come out of the problem!

                            I Pradeep Sadani has two domestic CESC connections at the address 40/A Dr. Suresh Sarkar Road. Kolkata - 700014. One in the name of Pradeep Sadani (Consumer no.[protected]) and the other in name of Sri Hari Krishna Sadani (Consumer no.[protected]). On 11/03/2014 the erstwhile meter was replaced by the present meter no: 4988669, the removal reading of the former being 27640 and the fixing reading of the latter being 00001 On 02/04/2014 and on 30/04/2014 readings of 00158 and 00478 were recorded against the present meter no: 4988669, but due to pending updation of our records with the above exchange details, the bill for March’ 2014 account was tendered for Meter Rental only and the bill for April’ 2014 account included the consumption of 31 units[protected] registered by the erstwhile meter from its reading date of February’ 2014 account (Reading 27609 on 04/03/2014) to its date of replacement on 11/03/2014 (Removal Reading 27640) Till April’ 2014, no consumption registered by the present meter was billed As the total consumption has been charged in a single bill, the energy charges went up too as the slab varies depending on consumption. CESC was requested to spread the consumption evenly (through bills for 04/2014 to 06/2014) so that the undersigned may be relieved of this gigantic amount that is too unrealistic
