Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation [CESC] — Disconnection on False grounds - Double bill charges | |||
Line disconnected on January 7th 2021. Bill already paid twice. No outstanding bills. The payment had already been made almost 1 day ago and two senior people have been left without electricity for the past 2 days . This is such an insensitiveness from CESC. Also I got informed that someone from CESC is asking those senior people for Rs.3000 to reconnect the line. The guy has even threatened the senior people saying that why online reconnection request has been made as the reconnection will only be made after face to face meeting and discussion. This clearly means that the person is trying to extract more money from senior people by holding them hostage without helping them to be reconnected. Was this information helpful? | |||
