Subject : high electricity bill

My consumer no. Is 12010070391 and customer id is : 12001045315 this is to inform you that my bill for last month that is august 2017 is 3180 which is quite inappropriate. I doubt that there is some problem in the meter reading. Please get it checked. I am unable to pay such huge amount.

I had paid the August, 2017 bill of Rs 570/- for the Customer ID 04000674908 (SUDIPTA BASU & MANASI BASU) on 17/09/2017 through paytm vide their OPERATOR REFERENCE NUMBER 17091708203304000674908041361470920817500000000696, & it was shown successful payment, but still I could not have the payment receipt from your website. Within the day, I complained paytm regarding that & after verification they have informed that the payment was successful, they've also given the above operator reference number to take the matter with you. So it's requested to verify the above & send the payment success receipt...

This is rathindra roy having consumer no. 75153114119 and customer id 75000488259. Recently we are finding that if cesc bill is paid through paytm then additional discount would be given. Our queries are (A) whether the part or full amount of this additional discount is being provided by cesc or this additional discount is being provided by paytm? (B) if cesc has any contribution in this discount then why only for payment through paytm and not for all other similar agencies? (C) all online paying consumers do not have the provision for making payment through paytm and why they are getting deprived....

Very slow process of working. People responsible do not even know their work properly and only want to get rid of their work. No initiative on the officials end to get the work done. No respect for peoples time. Non informative unless the customer clarifies the topic and only then the official responds correctly. Robots would work better then them....

Dear Sir,
Today 16/9/17. I have paid my bill for the month of Aug '17 through cesc online portal. The money Rs 5080 has been debited to my bank account but I still have not received any SMS from CESC stating that payment has been received. Kindly look into the matter and let me know the status of my transaction.

Given below is the SMS from my bank :

"Hello! Your a/c no ******0349 has been debited by Rs 5080 on 2017-09-16. The a/c balance is Rs 20323.44.Info: INB/520302467/CALCUTTA ELECTRIC SUPPLY C"

Usually we spend month and a half during december or january. I am totally lost why and how your company averages some units in metre reading every month. So please provide us the contact no / email address so that we can write to your company notifying the actual meter reading which is nil. For the month of august i have got a bill of amount rs 450.in july i have paid rs 260/-. I usually pay rs 250 to 300. The average of my last six month's bill amount is approximately 270. Against my meter no. 4658203 in june previous reading as shown by you is 9692. But present shown nil and i had been charged for 198 units amounting to rs.1430.40 as energy charge.
In july 2017 bill, previous is shown as nil and present is shown as 9890.

For your kind information, today, 1st sept 2017, actual meter reading shows as 9746.

Which proves you donot do proper meter reading. Put arbitrary value and charge consumer inappropriately. I have been charged excessively more putting me in highest slab. I also had to pay govt duty...
