We have received high amount of bill, as we are using 2 fans, 3tube light whether our monthly average rs. 600-700/month but for this month got rs. 3440, it might be meter reading was not working properly or some one theft. Our meter is combined in society meter so we are unable to check.

But still i have received this sms from cesc

Since last months i am receiving very high electricity bill from cesc kolkata. Actually we are using 1 fans & 1 led lights but the electric bills are coming above 810/month which is very much high than what it should be.
I have a doubt in my mind that either electric meter is not working properly or someone is doing electric theft from our meter as we are unable to check what exactly happening because the meter are locked in a room.
So request you to kindly look into it & resolve it as soon as possible....

We first faced the problem at our outlet on 06.10.2019 evening that our ml4 emergency shutdown switch was making noise. We made a complaint after that at 6:07pm with complaint no.[protected].

After that service engineers visited our site and made a temporary connection from the main line suspecting that there may be a major fault in the existing connection.

But they have been informed that we cannot start sale from our outlet with this temporary connection as it a public place where we are dealing with explosive products, petrol and diesel. Temporary connection is not...

I have retired from govt. Service - as such, the allotted quarter is required to be vacated immediately. All documents submitted to your office on 21.09.2019 but the line has not been disconnected which is required to be done immediately for avoid late fine.

Please refer to the consumer affairs and forum vide grievance number: 1542146 and 1541990 respectively and no.1607651 dated 18.09.2019 & 1610819 dated 19.09.2019 vide which as per direction of the concerned department the undermentioned facts are submitted for your kind information and further necessary action as early please.

As per cesc office mail ref. No. 05/15517/19 dated: 01/08/2019. Inspection was conducted for new connection. After inspection cesc forwarded a bill vide no.05/15517/19/5/1 dated 06.08.2019 in the name of thakur pada sarkar (Applicant) for security deposit rs.8370/-...

This is in regards to the bill payment for the current month within due date 30/09/19. How come they've sent the bill for the same month n payment to be done by this month only? Why should i pay the bill as per their chosen bill cycle n due date??

My last payment was on 03/09/19 for the month of august within the due date mentioned. Why should i pay twice in the same month??

I had raised two complaints to cesc regarding high bill (Docket[protected] and meter related (Docket[protected]. I had only got a reply that a representative will visit my house to check the meter. Till date i haven't received any communication regarding the complaints. And moreover upon checking, i found that they did not take the reading in the month of june and sent us an exorbitant reading for the month of july. My cust id is [protected]....

An excess payment/transaction of rs 16840/-was done on 28.02.2019 through my credit card for new meter installation charges. This excess payment may be happened due to internet problem or some other reason. Bank has advised me to contact cesc for the refund of rs 16840/-

But, the excess payment/2nd transaction of rs 16840/- has not yet refunded or endorsed in my account.

I therefore request you to look into the matter and arrange for the same

On 11.08.2019 i lodged a complain with cesc that due to rain our electric line is non operative vide docket no. [protected]. The cesc people came and resorted the line with temporary connection. Our representative visited kalindee office of cesc at lease 4 (Four) times - for making the connection permanent. The last docket no. Is [protected] dated 06.09.2019. Our representative visited on 09.09.2019 with kalindee office. The officer assured him that cesc people will come on 08.09.19 or 09.09.2019. No people has come. This type of assurance was given 3 times....

Request you to re-check the meter reading as the amount consumed is unbelievable and not justified. Please compare previous years reading as wel as last six months cosumption. As per your meter reading unit 151 to 471 but actual meter reading unit as on date 151 to 182. The reading seems to be wrong or misplaced. Reguest you to look into this matter as soon as possible.

It is my request to you to re-check the meter reading as the amount consumed is unbelievable and not justified, please compare previous years reading as well as last six months consumption. Re-check it and make it justified. Please provide me a fresh bill comparing it with the last twelve months' bill. Attachments are available here for your references.

Amount deducted twice for the same bill for Customer id:[protected] with 2 different Aap- Google pay and phone pay.

in phone pay it showed transaction failed. So i proceed the payment from Google pay which was successfull. Then i received sms that and even in the transaction history found that the Amount of Rs 1590 is been deducted twice from both the aap. So whole total Rs. 3180 is benn deducted for Customer id:[protected].

I did cesc bill payment on 1st september 2019 and my first transaction was unsuccessful but the money got deducted from my account.
I again did the transaction via paytm and upi and my second transaction was successful.
