Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation [CESC] — Misbehaviour on the part of district engineer & support staff of cesc

Sub : fault not rectified as promised from the de and misbehavior on your part and that of your
Emergency support staff

This is to bring to your notice the following :

A) there was disruption in power supply in my house on 30/3/16 and i informed through the helpline number
B) the support staff arrived and misbehaved and though i could observe that the meter was in ok condition and informed them but they completely ignored and sealed the meter from further usage and informed me to visit this office the following day and pay for damaged meter
C) i remember to have met you and after several persuasion you agreed to send in your personnel to verify the facts and assured to replace the meter if it is ok and had it not burnt out or damaged
D) another set of technicians informed that the meter was ok and restored connection hence my predictions was correct and it also proved that your support personnel who visited the previous day was incorrect in their findings and i suffered as a result
E) as per your promise you were supposed to replace the meter and changed the old wirings but instead you threatened me to disconnect my connection which i have been using for the last thirty years !
F) further i pointed out the anomaly in the bill for consumer no. [protected] where the load is showing as 1.0 kva or 0.8 kw which is a contrast since i have paid deposit in may 2007 to enhance the load and the helpline no. Promised to rectify it in the next bill

Thus basis above please inform

A) on what basis my meter was sealed off on 30.04.16 & on what basis it was restored the following day ?
B) when you will be replacing the meter with associated wirings for which i have sent you a written communication in june 2015 and followed up with several reminders ? I believe you were supposed to do this when i enhanced the load in may 2007
C) on what basis did you threaten me to disconnect my connection ? Are you competent enough to comment on electrical wirings – in that case you need to point it out rather than misbehave with a customer in distress

I understand that presently cesc is changing the old cutout alongwith mcv switch and hence i would need you do the needful at the earliest as the onus lies on cesc for upkeep and maintenance and as per above submissions you may want to consider to write me an apology letter
