With reference to the above consumer number, I have received a bill of Rs 5620/- for the month of 11/20.
My meter was non-functional / dead for last few months & CESC is not bothered to change the same after repeated complains from my side. Finally, 2 months back, changed the meter.
Now, They are imposing a penalty with no fault of mine. I have received a bill of 5620/- and when I called up your call center, they are saying its a average billing from April onwards due to pandemic which is absolutely wrong.
How can you penalize customer due to your faulty meter and charging customer in the month's consumption and highest slab???
I had requested to charge based on last years same period consumption patter but they are not ready to change the bill
