We booked four rooms for 2 nights at the Udaipur resort.
We arrived at the hotel around 12pm and inspected the room which was highly disappointing. The room’s appeared to be extremely dirty & unhygienic to live. Nowhere near the standard displayed in the pictures on the website.
From the cleanliness to the overall condition. no hot water running, bathroom & toilets all with yellow stained, bucket placed in bathroom to take shower (which was also very dirty) taps & showers full stained. Worn off + stained bed sheets & pillow cases which had holes. Room floor had foot marks, dust on window benches, aircon vents + ceiling fan had dust visible, none of them didn’t appeared be in working order. It basically felt very unsafe & unhygienic, worse the the standard hospital room. Advertised as a resort it had, No spa, swimming pool not operating.
We are here for short break from overseas and it was total shock starting out break in this way.
When all these were highlighted to the hotel manager there. He spoke to some reservation team & advised the refund will be processed in 48hrs once we send them an email explaining the issues which I did. He also sent me an email stating the same. We then moved to another hotel as Cambay Udaipur booked is not in state to live.
Its been over a week and we have still not received the refund nor an email from them confirming the timeframe on when this will be processed. We have spoken to the manager couple of times on phone and gotten the answer that he will check & get back to us. However still no results.
I am here by requesting assistance here for our refund to be processed.
