Canara Bank — Transfer of account | |||||
When I was working in Bangalore, I had opened an account in K.L.out branch, Bangalore[protected]. Now I have shifted to Ottapalam, Kerala and wanted to operate the account from here. I have approached the parent branch, who informed me to apply through the present branch. I applied through Ottapalam Branch in Oct. 2016 but till date the account is not got transferred here. Upon enquiry, they informed that the account is not transferred by Kalidasa Layout Branch, Bangalore, inspite of sending all the documents to them. Cheque book issued to me by old branch is exhausted and I am not able to withdraw cash from the account. I have ATM card also, and by opening new account in Ottapalam, I will not be able to use my ATM card of the old account. Hence I want to transfer the account to Ottapalam, and obtain fresh cheque book. Please resolve the issue. Was this information helpful? | |||||
