Canara HSBC — Forceful termination of life insurance policy

Sir,

1. Reference policy no. [protected] (Proposal no. [protected]) with canars hsbc.

2. I have just received a cheque for 641240.89 as refund cheque towards termination of policy.

3. Hsbc letter states that, this is with reference to my recent communication regarding termination of policy in the above mentioned policy.

4. Please note that i have not communicated at all for the termination of the policy and the policy has been forcefully and illegally terminated at the bank's own sweet will.

5. I had purchased the policy in jan 2011as an insurance policy with a term of 10 years and a mandatory payment for 05 years with an assured value of 1200000 as life cover and not for simple investment in the bank. Otherwise i could have taken a fd. Timely payment has been done for 5 years.

5. This is pure cheating on part of canara hsbc.

6. I would like the bank to recover the cheque from me and let the policy remain in force till it's maturity time.
