Cancer Care Trust — Unusual and suspicious activity | |||||
Incident: Agents called me on my personal phone number and then tried to convince me of the authenticity of the trust by directing me to a NGO portal of the Government of India. The name of the Trust was "Cancer Care Trust" with ID DL/2017/0114634. Then he directed me to the website "www.cancercaretrust.org" and then wanted to explain patient case history for Age4 Dishanth Kumar with Blood cancer. The agent said he was working as a volunteer in the NGO. I got calls from the following 2 numbers: [protected], [protected]. Later when I told him it was unethical of him to call on a deregsitered mobile number (I have blocked all cotegories o[censored]nsolicited calls in TRAI registry, so no ethical organisation asks employees/voulnteers to call these mobile numbers) he started getting defensive and sentimental and started speaking in a tone that is unprofessional. The above reasons and also other complaints on multiple forums from other people make me believe that they are using innocence of many victims to scam them. Therefore this organisation and it website (www.cancercaretrust.org) along with payment gateway needs to examined for frauduolous activity and the mobile numbers should also be investigated Was this information helpful? | |||||

Got a call from Simran saying she is a volunteer of Cancer Care Trust, and asked me a same case which reported by Aritro Basu on Aug 26, 2016, she is crying for that baby and on urgent basic she make me to pay during call itself so that i dint able to verify the details correctly.

Received call, +[protected], when I reached back it say wrong number. I receive frequent reminders to my Idea number, do not accept call if the number looks incorrect and starts +91.

Her Father's name is RAHUL MALIK, who is no more in this world. Her mother's name is MANSURA (Contact No.- [protected]), who is the only caretaker of this baby. They are residents of CN-137/52, C-Block, Huts, Jahangirpuri, North West Delhi, Delhi.
Baby Nargish is admitted in AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) under the treatment of Dr. Sameer Bakshi in Hematology Department vide UH ID No.[protected]
The only remedy which has been suggested to the child is rigorous chemo, the approx cost of the treatment is Rs.1, 50, 000.
Since her parents are very poor, they cannot afford the cost of the treatment. In this situation Cancer Care Trust would like to lend a helping hand for the child and the family which is only possible from the generous support of people like you.
Requesting your kind intervention of financial support to bring back the smile on the face of Nargish and his family.

I just spoke to idea fraudulent call center person, he said its india local number, +91 265 395 9202, not sure whom to trust and whom not to trust, what if this request is geniun, and this kid is suffering from cancer.

When I am denying they are arguing and using vulgar words.([protected])
